Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was amazing with a first class service.
Restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived but busied up a bit at 5pm .service and food were very good. Plenty of space between tables and customers spread about the restaurant so felt very COVID safe.
First visit and must say I was very impressed. Food was very good and reasonable price wise, will definitely be back
Lovely little gem. Gorgeous food. Would visit again
Great meal in a lovely restaurant 10 out of 10 will definitely be back
Don't know if it was air conditioning but was cold where we were sitting.
Absolutely delicious all 3 courses my favourite is the slow cooked beef with a portion of onion rings.
Wasn't the best experience we have had. Felt it was very overpriced for what it was on this occasion especially for lunch.
Food was excellent and staff very helpful
Lovley setting and they had everything in place for covid
Good meal ,first time in restaurant since the new extension.
Lovely atmosphere, well presented food and very friendly staff
Lovely Christmas lunch. Food was delicious. Restaurant busy, as it should be at this time of the year. A great pity the SNATs deprived us of a glass of wine with our lunch, that was the only thing that I would have changed.
Excellent food & service ... friendly and attentive staff
Nice meal and lovely friendly staff. Good service.
I didn't enjoy my main course of spicy lamb casserole but it was taken off my bill which I appreciated.
Cold and lacking atmosphere , not very festive. My gluten free dinner substituted extra potatoes for pigs in blankets, gravy not brilliant
We had the Christmas menu and it was exceptional. Food was terrific and service was great couldn't do enough for you. Missed having a nice cocktail.
Excellent service, food good value , very good choice of menu, staff very attentive.
couldn't fault it, as always service and food excellent in this difficult time .well done to all the staff great job well done
Once again an excellent dining experience. Cannot recommend Blues enough. Well done!
The staff are all very very friendly, the food is amazing, service is great.
The Blues is well laid out due to Covid and hand sanitisers are jotted all over the place and they have a one way. Could not fault it.
Visited several times and every meal has been amazing
Absolutely delicious!! Highly recommended Blues restaurant
Excellent food as always at Blues.
From the star to the finish the only superlative to use was an excellent experience. I will be returning to this venue for my forthcoming birthday treat. I live in the town of Ayr and will look forward to heading up the A77 to the Park Hotel Kilmarnock
Excellent in every way.
Started haggis bon bons dry, as if they were left out under the lamp for ages
Main was tempura the chicken was huge and the batter was so greasy. Meal clost £44 grudged paying it
We throughly enjoyed our visit and the Christmas menu was excellent. We were slightly backfooted when the smoked salmon starter was served and instead of the slices expected was a piece of salmon which had been smoked. As some of us had ordered salmon for a main we enjoyed it twice but it was so good there were no complaints. We hope to return soon.
Delicious meal with a choice of 2 or 3 course menu or the normal menu if preferred. Lovely surroundings, with great attention to detail. Attentive and helpful staff. Would certainly recommended.
Lovely food, atmosphere and most of all felt very safe with COVID measures in place. Great job everyone ......We will be back 😁
Great service and food, thank you
We had to leave and take our desert with us it didn’t exactly make us feel welcome. We waited 10minutes before anyone asked if we wanted a desert therefore no time to eat it. Very disappointing.
Great visit as always. Staff second to none. Food excellent as usual.
The best turkey dinner in town, would highly recommend
Service excellent and will return!
Everything was perfect, Amy, our waitress was lovely
Easy to book. Well organised and spacious when dealing with COVID restrictions. Food excellent and menu has plenty of choices. Staff excellent and knowledgeable. Had gluten free options which is helpful for coeliacs.
Had a lovely lunch with a friend on Thursday. I always choose cajan chicken which is fabulous but decided to have the chicken with peppercorn sauce & mash for a change. It was a treat. We both had a cappuccino afterwards. Restaurant was not too busy so we were well spaced out from other diners. We got an unexpected discount for eat out to help out scheme which was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend!
Very good service and very good food, when we had a minor issue with what had been ordered by my daughter (sauce in separate jug, rather than on plate) this was rectified immediately with no issues.
I ordered Mac with chicken but felt it was toooooo spicy. Won’t have that again, but will be back
