Bluespoon Restaurant & Bar – Costa del Canal
From the vineyards and lavender fields of Provence, to the glamorous towns of the French Riviera, the cobbled streets of Spain, the picturesque southern coast of Italy, as you cannot travel this summer, Andaz is bringing the Mediterranean to you!
With a new international team of chefs, led by new Chilean chef Manuel Pereira, the Bluespoon Restaurant & Bar menus will have a Mediterranean takeover for the summer. When Mediterranean is in the name, tapas is of course the game. Be it Spanish, Italian, French, or Greek, the heroes on our menus will be everyone’s favourite. Best washed down with a Spritzer or two. From calamari fritti, to croquettes, gazpacho, padron peppers, beef tartare and steamed mussels, you will not be short of choice. In for something more substantial? The menus boast everything from fresh linguine frutti de mare, to bouillabaisse, tender suckling pig, or, go all the way and order from the Josper.

My husband and I spent Valentine there and had a fantastic experience; that’s why I reserved a table when our daughter came to visit us from London. The ambiance and the service were outstanding , but the food wasn’t what I remembered.....
I ordered a Seabass , expecting to have a Chilean Seabass (the chef is from Chile) but I had a looked like branzino instead (was it a Seabass??) , slightly sour (too much lemon) and overcooked.....

Great value Sunday brunch. Huge choice of egg dishes and also vegan options. The quality of the food was good given the price. Attentive staff.

Great food, hostess, look and feel. They did forget to bring our drinks twice but that was more than compensated for by their hospitality.

Hands down the best restaurant I've found in The Netherlands. The food was amazing, the manager was very nice and hospitable, and the ambiance was really cool. They follow COVID guidelines and are organized. Best service as well, unlike many places in Europe where you wait until someone comes to your table. We'll definitely be regular customers.

Very helpful friendly staff and great service dealing with me and my colleagues turning up unexpectedly for lunch and delivering perfectly without fuss.
We had the 5 course taster menu with wine. We could not fault the food , nor the wine . The decor and ambiance is perfect and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

We ordered a 7 course tasting menu. The courses were spaced far too much apart with 20-30 minutes between each. The food was just ok. We sat for over 4 hours and were eager to leave.
Bread before the meal was fantastic, main menu was fabulous, wines were great, dessert couldn't keep up the great experience, coffee not hot enough. Kind staff made the evening all but perfect.

It’s a cosy restaurant in a fantastically designed hotel. They serve little bites in between courses, on the house. The recipes are truly creative and refined.

A bit pretentious and food not imressive
Wonderful food with amazing good service. The very nice thing is also that you have enough space between the tables to have a good conversation. I come to this restaurant at least once a month
My all time favorite go to place for brunch. Tried other placed but I keep coming back to Bluespoon.
Very dutch but waiters all foreign. Felt that we had to hurry up.
The waiter was very slow despite the fact that we were almost the only ones in the restaurant. And she forgot some of our order. The salad was crunchy like it had had sand or soil in it. I gave up eating it. The chicked and the fries were very good.
We have visited Andaz Hotel before for cocktails and had a great time at the bar as we did on this visit too. Because of our experience in the bar we decided to eat in the restaurant as well this visit. We were very much looking forward to the evening and having the tasting menu with wine pairing. We were the only people in the restaurant which probably didn’t help with the ambiance but the service was lacking in any enthusiasm, the sommelier seemed thoroughly bored with having to explain anything, maybe this was because he is starting his own business in a few weeks? The food was expensive and very underwhelming, really not worth the cost, in particular the Wagyu beef was actually quite horrible. Overall sadly we were very disappointed, we won’t be coming back or recommending.
Ambience is really wonderful, including the open kitchen without any glasses. The food is very good but not amazing. Our coffees came cold, even with the restaurant not full. Worth a visit

I make it an absolute point to eat here every time I am in Amsterdam for business. It is a pleasure to dine here. The wait staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. The food is always special, elegantly presented, and innovative.
Above and beyond all expectations. Never had a brunch like this before, and I probably never will again. From the unlimited cava to the perfect gnocchi to the sweet - oh, so sweet! - end, everything went as smooth as a well-brewed and expertly shaped cappuccino (not unlike the one that came at the very end. We left overwhelmed and slightly overweight. Well done, all involved.
We were only in Amsterdam for a couple of days but wanted to eat somewhere special for my birthday. This place did not let us down. The restaurant was just what we were after, charming and relaxed. We had booked the Ed Sheeran menu but soon changed to the Vegetarian 5 course menu. Every dish was absolutely delicious and there was plenty in between, amuse bouche, local bread and brioche etc! Highly recommend! It was also nice how we were not made to feel rushed... the table was ours for the evening and the courses had a nice amount of time between each to allow the evening to be extended. Would definitely come again.
Honestly, it was very average in terms of food and ambiance. I don’t understand all the 5 star reviews. The service was great, but that was it.
We had a fantastic dinner here on our first night back in Amsterdam. We liked it so much that we ate our next two breakfasts there as well. I think we’ll be back when next in Amsterdam, although we live halfway around the world.

Food, wine, and service were all quite excellent.
However, the 5-course tasting menu with paired wine took over 3 hours to complete....far too much time waiting between courses....
There was a very loud and boisterous group at a large table in a garden-enclosed alcove. There should be a wall with a door to separate this area from the main dining room--to control this problem.
We had the 4 course option (lack of time)- everything we had inc in between courses- amuse bouche was divine !!!
We complained about the meat from maincourse. They offerred us a coffee and dessert after we finished our dessert from the menu. So, 2 dessert is to much. A inappropriat solution.
Service is okay, but could be better. Came to ask twice etc.....
It was expecting to have a brunch buffet but there were only one main course with other small tastings.

We went as a family with a 4 and 2 year old and we had a fantastic time. The staff we amazing with the children and went above and beyond to help us.
We were disappointed that the Sunday brunch buffet was no longer on offer as this had been amazing previously, but the current menu did not disappoint. Thank you for a lovely visit
It was our first time at Bluespoon. We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday with Mad Hatters brunch and it was very good. I like the concept and the food was delicious from the gazpacho, to main course, cheese platter to desserts and the unlimited cava, coffee and tea. The waitress is super amazing, she explained everything for us! I also get in touch with two customer service prior to going there because I arranged for a additional cake to be served for his birthday and it was fantastic! We really enjoyed the brunch ✅❤️😃

It was a very cool experience, what me and my friend was missing was a bit louder music and maby a bit more usage of the theme, like uniforms and such things, maybe it could have been a bit more creative and fun.
