Excellent service from a northern girl, booked plenty in advance and our table wasn't ready (only downfall), but she accommodated to our wants promptly. Great service from new bar tender, no ice jugs so kept bringing prossecco over, our glasses were full until the bottle was empty! Very happy with the visit! Very personal and a lovely atmosphere!
Food was good but the service a bit slow beings it wasn’t busy. I would recommend this place and hope it does well.
Great get together with girlfriends on a Saturday afternoon.
Great value food and excellent service - we'll definitely be back!!
I absolutely love the Boadicea, great for lunch and equally as fantastic if you wanted an evening meal, just with a friend/friends, partner or even with the children.
You can have drinks at the bar first, the dine and chill if you wish afterwards in one of their cosy sofas.
Nothing is too much to ask for with these guy's.
Highly recommend and I am not a lady that is easily pleased.
Had a fabulous lunch here for my daughter's 18th Birthday. Originally booked a table for 6 but family kept adding onto it and there ended up being 25 of us! Staff were fabulous, explained they wouldn't be able to take everyone's order at once, but we all got our food within a short space of time from one another. We were allocated the downstairs eating area to ourselves so were able to move around table to table without disturbing other diners. We took our own birthday cake, which the staff stored in the kitchen until bringing it out with candles lit!
We all had a really lovely time and wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend. Food was fabulous, cocktails were amazing, staff were friendly and very helpful.
Thank you Boadicea for a memorable 18th
Nice meal, the starter sharing board with bread and cured meats was lovely, main had the potted chicken tasted lovely, great service
Great spot, liked the decor, has loads of potential. Staff lovely but seemed a bit disorganised/overwhelmed. Will definitely go back and see how it has improved once it's been open a bit longer.
We had to enter via patio door as others were locked. A sign displayed but no arrow to help show which was the patio door! It wasn’t obvious! Lighting was dim as we couldn’t read the menus then during the main meal, the lights were turned up higher but still with a nice ambient feeling! Food, service, table area - everything was good but bit overpriced on some things. Avg spent per head £40.
Went in for a Sunday roast, food was lovely but the service was so painfully slow and the waiters didn't seem to understand what we were asking. Was just a little hard work.
I was not happy with my food and I’m not one to complain but I had to as my burger bun was soggy therefore I was put off eating it which meant I was left to eat my sweet potato fries. I feel that I will not be returning anytime soon
