    Plenty of choice on food and lots of veggie options. Lovely organic white - no hangover! Waitress ran after me on the way to the car with glasses - an extension of the great service we had all evening

    There's a good selection of food and an even better selection of wine. Food was really tasty. Three plates of tapas each was more than enough. Each plate was around £9, so it's not bad value. A starter we shared, 6 plates of tapas and 2 carafes of wine was £100. Will definitely be going back. Waitress was attentive but not overbearing which was nice as well

    Was charged for the beer that was spilt all over me, added on a 10% service charge after that and then proceeded to actually charge more than what the bill was when it came to paying, unfortunately I didn’t realise until after.

    Service was exceptional, our server was incredibly helpful and friendly especially with the kids. The food was lovely, however the portions were a little on the small side. Great touch with the kids meals free under 12. Will definitely come back again.

    Booked for 6pm. A few hours before rang Bob to explain we would be about 10 mins late. Staff member was very understanding and rebooted for 6 15pm. Delighted to speak with such a nice and helpful staff member. They meal was very tasty and a little more generous than the usual tapas. The lady that took our order gave helpful advice which we welcomed. Service was unhurried and we enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxed evening. Without doubt we will return and strongly recommend a mid week visit.

    It’s very brightly lit inside. It’s big and noisy. Food is ok, but nothing that special. Service was good but the lack of ambiance of any kind really put me off.

    Overall, a very positive experience. I wasn't aware before I booked that it was tapas style, so this is something to bear in mind as it does push the price up a bit, but that's down to me. The menu isn't extensive, but there was plenty for all tastes and was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely and friendly and the ambience was just right. We all really enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back.

    Firstly , the service was very good and helpful. The food was good but the menu was somewhat limited. Overall value proved to be expensive for what it was. Would I eat there again - yes but only for an informal meal, it would not be a place to go for a special occasion.

    Unfortunately the food was under cooked starting with crunchy pardon peppers. The chicken we were served was the wrong order and the correct one followed under cooked. Everything was deep fried. No Portuguese beers available and generally unimpressed despite being excited to try and local.

Not all of our dishes are deep fried, we have chargrilled fish and meats, we have braised slow cook items, we have salads and more. Spanish tapas is predominately traditionally deep fried so we are replicating some classic dishes which are. We hope you give us another go being local!

    Atmosphere was great and staff were very friendly but unfortunately the food wasn’t up to scratch. Two of my friends ordered burgers which were burnt and they forgot the chips to go with the tapas and the tapas was so oily and hardly had any taste. We asked for more of the peri peri mayo that we had on the side and didn’t realise till we paid that it cost us £2 per small pot of mayo! Free drinks were offered to us but doubt we’ll go back again, it was expensive for what it was and a bit of a let down.

    Booked a table for five via OpenTable, received confirmation which I had on my phone. Arrived, no sign of booking. Got a table fortunately as the restaurant had only just opened. But that was simply luck - no explanation as to where our booking went. Round table at booth but when the food came one of us couldn’t fit our plates in front of us as the table is too small so they ate with their plate to the side. No chicken, no calamari and in a menu that was surprisingly already very limited this left little choice - two diners had pre-read the menu and chosen the spicy -chicken but sadly not available. We ordered two diet tonics and one regular - they were all put down together with the comment that they were “all the same” - the person ordering the regular hadn’t heard that and didn’t drink hers as she said it tasted strange. It’s likely one of us that purposely ordered diet got the full sugar version! Three times we saw the server take our food to other tables who rejected it then she brought it to us. Food was ok but portions even for small plates are small! We eat at tapas restaurants a couple of times a month but this for a local one just disappointed on a number of points.

    Hi Susan. We will take your points on board being a newly opened venue but we do need to correct your review on one point. It is Monday after an incredibly busy weekend for us and we were waiting to receive deliveries today of said chickens and calamari. We are a fresh cook restaurant and we don’t have endless stocks of every menu item especially ones that need prepping. Without these two menu items, we have another 24 savoury dishes available - not exactly ‘little choice’ really, let’s be fair

    Delicious food with great service and a lively atmosphere. Particularly liked the warm side plates for sharing the tapas. Friendly waiting on staff and no problems with our orders (party of 6). Piping hot. I personally tried 2 cocktails and didn’t like either, classic margarita would be nice or strawberry daquiri!
