Early days perhaps, as I believe Boccocino Soho opened only a few weeks ago. Impeccably professional welcome and initial service. Menu perhaps a little confusing with cicchetti options, also rather dominated by large range of pizza choices. To warrant its pricing structure it needs to be clearly more than a pizzeria. Unfortunately our (two) main courses arrived about 12 minutes apart due to some issue in the kitchen, which was a bit awkward. Lots of apologies and a welcome concession on service charge, but basic stuff that should be easy to get right. Decor and ambience good but began to get quite noisy as tables filled up - lots of hard surfaces so perhaps think about softening it a bit. It was a cold evening so lots of guests had left coats in the cloakroom which meant retrieving ours was a bit of a nightmare for the young ladies at the reception desk. Early days and would certainly make a return visit in the expectation that teething problems can be sorted.

Asked if we want olives and bread and charged us for £17 is unbelievable. Ordered scallops and calamari as starter and they were great. Truffle fries also taste fine. Pizza Bocconcino and pistacio pasta is very average and food got cold very quickly. Overall the food is overpriced. Would never come again

The food is excellent - very impressed with the quality, especially given how busy the restaurant was when we went. Everything was piping hot and the lemon meringue pie is incredible. We went on a Saturday night and it was chaos. We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated at our table and the waiting area was small and awkward. There is a DJ in the restaurant and it was far too loud and distracting, this meant we were shouting to each other. So it's a mixed review... I understand you want to create an atmosphere and it was lively but it was like sitting in a nightclub for dinner. Bit strange! I'm going to book again for a business lunch, assuming the DJ won't be there and it'll be more chilled!

Loved this place! The interior is stunning, the finest marble and fabrics used throughout. The food is fresh and super tasty, I high recommend the trio or tartare's, pistachio pasta and ALL of the desserts.

Excellent welcome and service from front desk. Waiters are too attentive, every 30 seconds asking you to move on or collecting when not finished. Music was nice but not for a restaurant, a heavy baseline is not what I’d like to eat dinner listening too. Food was good but expensive.

In general feeling, most of the staffs seem to lack of training and did not attention to details with the following, - entering was fine by the host, but we waited for 15 minutes for the menu, and no one asked if we wanted to have some water - my empty dishes had not been clean for almost half an hour, and no one tried to approach us - The waiter kept explaining the situation of the billing system and machine and he forced us to be patient when we waited for 30mins just for a single bill which also came with wrong items on the first bill - Table set up is so cozy that all tables are so close to each other and are super noisy. Overall, it is very hard to recommend anyone to be there and hard to go back which it is very disappointing.

I expected much more! At our visit we tried a variety of dishes, some came fresh, some came cold. Waiters also tried to put dishes that we didn't order onto our table multiple times, which we had to insist we didn't order and had to ask to remove from the bill. They don't keep the wine by the table so we had to keep asking someone to bring it over, and getting their attention at times was a struggle and at one point a member of our party had to stand up an approach someone. The pasta dishes were decent, however we ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad as a side, which arrived consisting of No chicken - just tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and balsamic glaze. At first we thought it was an error but the waiter assured us this was the correct dish and told us to 'just try it' when we queried him. They did eventually take it off the bill for us as we explained we expected a dish with Caesar dressing, anchovies and croutons (as you would). We were also especially disappointed with the espresso martinis we had at the end of the meal, they were incredibly bitter and had to leave them and just asked for the Bill. This also was a fiasco in itself as their system was 'down' and couldn't provide us with a the actual bill, and so the server brought over the card machine and picture of the order system and ensured I would receive an email version. It's been a days since our booking, and still haven't seen the bill.

Not a very welcoming experience. We were told on arrival our table wasn't quite ready, so had to wait a short while. As we were seated (late), we were then immediately told that our table was needed back after 1hr 45 mins from the start of our reservation (despite being seated late). This also hadn't been communicated at the time of booking. The antipasti was very disappointing. Despite two members of our party ordering the same dish, one was delivered as a large (with chilli and other ingredients listed), the other a small which also appeared to lack any of the other ingredients. When we raised this we were given some chilli to thrown on top. The main course was slightly better. Overall a very expensive meal which the environment and the food did not live up to.

Had a blast at Bocconcino last Wednesday. They kicked off this happy hour deal and my buddy and I totally cashed in on their 2 for 1 cocktails. It's like they say, Wednesday is the little Friday, and it sure felt like it. Getting a bit buzzed mid-week without splashing too much cash was awesome. The folks working there, from the waitstaff to the bartenders, were super friendly and added to the good vibes. They were down to earth and shared some laughs with us.

Had lunch at Bocconcino and totally loved the vibe. The place has this cool happy hour thing, so lunch turned a bit into a happy early evening, if you know what I mean. The tables by the huge panoramic window were the best part, showing off that bustling Soho life. It's like you're dining amidst the city pulse, which is kinda awesome. The food was dope, and chilling there with a view, munching and sipping on cool drinks, felt really good.

What an absolute gem of a find in the heart of the city! I stumbled upon Bocconcino while exploring the neighborhood, and oh, what a delightful surprise it was. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with the most infectious smiles and a warmth that felt just like home. I opted for their signature mushroom risotto, and let me tell you, it was a symphony of flavors in every bite. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection, and the creaminess of the risotto was just unparalleled. My friend had the seafood pasta, and she couldn’t stop raving about how fresh and succulent the prawns were. But the real star of the show was their homemade tiramisu. It was the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness, leaving us utterly satisfied yet craving for more. And how can I not mention the charming ambiance? The soft lighting and cozy interiors just added to the overall enchanting experience. The staff deserves a special shout-out for their attentive and friendly service. Booked for the bottomless pizza and prosecco brunch. It was very quiet, only 5 tables in total. Food was ok, prosecco was light and lovely and service was attentive. I wouldn't book for the brunch again but would try the a la carte menu for dinner when hopefully the restaurant is more buzzy.

I recently dined at this Italian restaurant for my birthday, and it was a major disappointment. I had heard good things about this place, but my experience was far from enjoyable. First and foremost, the food was incredibly bland. I ordered what should have been a flavourful and delicious Ragu, but it tasted like it had been prepared without any seasoning or care. Every dish was bland and lacked flavour. The service was equally underwhelming. It took an eternity for our food to arrive at our table. I understand that good food takes time, but the wait was unreasonable. It was my birthday, and I had hoped for a pleasant dining experience, but the slow service only added to my disappointment. I will not be returning to this restaurant, nor would I recommend anyone to go. With so many excellent Italian restaurants in London, this one doesn't even come close to meeting the mark.
