We enjoyed our recent visit to Bocconi in Shepherd's Bush. We visited prior to attending a gig. First up - service is excellent - very attentive, friendly and interested in talking with us. Food is great too - my wife & I both really enjoyed the pasta dish with a spicy chilli tomato sauce - and the panna cotta is amazing. A great place. Recommended.
Très bon restaurant Italien et le service est parfait
Excellent food great service
Very nice local restaurant - we really enjoy coming here.
Nice food and Service. The only problem we had was the rebuilding of the Venue.
Always a friendly welcome and good service. We have dined at Bocconi several times, eating three courses, and each time we have said to each other that every course was really good. A proper neighbourhood Italian restaurant!
Very good neighbourhood restaurant. Good quality Italian food. Pleasantly busy but not unbearably noisy. Staff work hard and are attentive. Recommended
Bocconi was great value, and the food was delicious.
We was made to sit in the cafe beside the restaurant due to the restaurant floor being repaired.(could have been told before hand) the waiter had really bad Body odour and the pork belly was so dry I was almost good for the bin. Not a great experience and won’t be returning I’m afraid
Good quality, straightforward italian food, served nicely in a big, friendly room. Good value for money and a world away from the noise and rush of Shepherds Bush outside the door.
Interesting pasta dishes with seafood. An unusual mussels with fregola and wine sauce was deleicious. Nice starterinclude Bruschietta, burrata, squid, tiger prawns and salads. An excewllent lamb rump and calves liver among main courses. Service very friendly and atmosphere has lovely buzz.
Fantastic meal and service
Fantastic food, friendly staff and reasonably priced for the quality. Would definitely go again
Everything was good!!
Came for dinner on Friday evening, intending to have a leisurely Italian meal to kick off our weekend in London. The restaurant was very busy and loud but we had booked a table.
We decided to have a glass of wine and some bread and olives to chat and nibble before our meal. The restaurant had other ideas, and brought our main course out while we were only 3 olives and a couple of sips of wine into our starter.
We were in and out in 45 minutes. Have felt more welcome at a Mac Donald’s.
Food was tasty and good value.
Would not go again and would not recommend.
Good fresh food, quality ingredients, all served up by very pleasant staff. Only criticism is the lighting, which is slightly too bright.
The welcome was friendly, and every course was very tasty.
Our favourite local restaurant in Shepherds Bush. Always consistently good
Consistently good with excellent fresh food and very friendly service. Have returned many times and my go-to local restaurant.
Taking my daughter and her friend to a show at the Shepherd's Bush O2 across the street, I made a reservation for Bocconi. It was perfect. We arrived very early (5:30pm) on a Monday and the place was empty. The service was friendly and professional. We ordered the olives, the goat cheese salad, and the calamari. They were all very good but the calamari stood out. A light breading with a wonderful flavoring. Our mains were pasta and fish. I highly recommend the sea bass. It came with muscles and small clams. So good. My daughter and her friend thoroughly enjoyed their pasta. I dropped the girls off and went back for coffee and pannacotta. Incredible. I'm always a little skeptical about restaurants on Monday nights. They worked like it was a Friday night. By 8:00pm the place was busy and had a lovely vibe. The food and service are fantastic. The location is terrific. I got the impression that they recently renovated the place. It's very... yellow/green. A little too bright. I chose a seat that faced the window. I think they were going for a sage color. If they changed the color of the glass light fixtures that might soften the green. It would look a bit more inviting if they went a little darker and less yellowish.. Overall, I highly recommend it and if you like green, it's a win win.
Food was delicious and he set course menu is truly great value
Best Italian in the West !! Food has so much flavour and the service is outstanding not to mention the fantastic price!
Great location and a nice break from the chains around the corner. Lovely food and great service.
A Valentine dinner in a cosy neighbourhood restaurant with decent Italian food and friendly service
We had an amazing night.
Food was delicious with great service.
Will be back for sure!
Lovely local Italian you can quite forget you’re in Shepherd’s Bush!
Love this restaurant everything about it is superb. Definitely recommend it.
Visited for the second time and I wasn't disappointed.
Good service, tasty food and good selection of wine!
Although the food was pretty good it doesn’t make up for disorganised and sometimes rude service.
We have been a few times and the food has been consistently good. We like sharing the small plates and the pasta and fish, shell fish dishes are great. The mushroom and truffle risotto is very good. House wine really good and good value. Very friendly and welcoming service. Currently our favourite local in Shepherds Bush.
We had a lovely meal, the food was tasty and the service was friendly! We had 3 courses and it came to about £60 per couple - but that only included one glass of wine! (Dry January...)
There was some building work being done in the restaurant which was a tiny bit distracting, but it was fairly easy to ignore.
Overall, we would definitely recommend and would come back to try other things on the menu, including the wine and Italian liqueurs!!
I went there as I saw good review on TripAdvisor and Open Table and also liked the photos of the food on the website. The staff was nice, attentive and it's quiet but vibrant ambiance. Food was amazing..! Had sea bass and it was very well cooked and sauce was delicious. They also had good selection of wine.
I never write reviews, but this place had fantastic food and service. Definitely recommend.
Definetely not to recommend!
Me and my girlfriend we booked a table for New Year's Eve and we ordered some sea food starters as the fried squid and few king prawns and then we had two portions of pasta, one with the clams and one with the prawns and tomato sauce.
No one of these dishes was matching our expectations... Everything was totally no tasty and with a poor quality of ingredients used.
For the price that you pay you expect more than this and as Italian I can easily say that this restaurant has nothing to do with an Italian restaurant as they are advertised.
WORST thing, both my girlfriend and I were very sick after this dinner and it took almost 3 days to get back to feeling good...
Absolutely not for the seafood!
This little restaurant is one we would return to if we found ourselves in this neck of the woods again. The food was delicious, and the service excellent
Great diner, the wine suggestion was spot on. Excellent staff and delicious pasta.
It was small and smelly. Food with no taste at all and cold or slightly warm only. Little tables. Good wine though. Im disappointed it supposed to be a fun parents out eve.
Excellent food but tables are squeezed together so one is constantly bothered by adjacent tables’ conversations.
Amazing authentic Italian. We visited for dinner on Sunday evening prior to a gig at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire. It’s directly over the road so an ideal location. The food was so tasty and filling. The wine selection very good too. All in all a fabulous meal and we’ll definitely return.
