Boeuf is Medway’s first Steak Frites House, a restaurant serving the ultimate steak frites experience. Brought to you by the same team at The Dead Pigeon Pub & The Greedy Banker Pub, Boeuf is a unique experience that elevates this popular French/Belgian dish.

Through heavy research and years of knowledge working with beef we bring to you quite possibly the best cut of steak; Sirloin Pavé. This is a rare, premium cut of beef which has the same juicy tenderness of a fillet steak with the rich beefy flavour of a sirloin.

Our menu is precise and to the point but there is no need to do more when we have the best of everything all on one plate.

What makes our steak frites experience unique is we serve you the steak frites twice. Yes that’s right double steak frites!

Please note due to the size of the restaurant we are unable to accommodate pushchairs or high chairs. There is also no children's menu.

Our first visit to boeuf but definitely not our last. The concept is very different, only serving steak frites but it totally works. The quality of the beef is exceptional, literally melt in the mouth, accompanied by home made frites and a sauce. Speaking to Ryan about his vision and concept was inspiring: local produce to a high standard. A great new asset for Rochester.! Thank you

Tiny restaurant with an odd small (damp?) and 1 item on the main course menu, that’s oddly served to you twice (6oz steak and frites and then 4oz steak and fritz). Different, but not somewhere I’ll be rushing back to…

The experience was well worth the value, steak cooked beautifully. Food arrived quickly. The service was outstanding and attentive. Whilst something did go “wrong” (although not a huge deal IMO) the staff were pro-active and fixed it before we even noticed and were kind enough to take off a side dish from bill for the delay in one of the second steaks arriving and the error. You can’t fault the effort with service here. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be back. Thank you in particular to staff Ryan and JJ for fantastic service throughout the evening.

A simple and straight forward menu means everything is fresh, with quality ingredients superbly cooked and quickly delivered. The drinks on offer include a small selection of cocktails which are mixed at the bar and excellent. A bottle of house red is more than acceptable and well priced. The steak melts in the mouth and the chips are simply the best I've ever had. Our waiter was Sam and did a great job, fast, efficient and friendly. In fact all the staff seemed to be enjoying delivering a great experience. The venue itself is small so if you get one loud table so it will be loud and they will need your table back for the next sitting (remember they need to make money).

This was our first visit to Boeuf, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The menu concept is clever and well thought out, with a strong focus on quality ingredients and flavour. The steak was absolutely mouthwatering — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour. Ryan, our waiter, was friendly and attentive. He explain everything clearly and made us feel very well looked after. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning. A great spot for anyone who appreciates good food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent steak restaurant, staff friendly and professional. Make sure you go hungry as essentially you get two dinners. Steak was perfect, chips Devine and the sauce exquisite. Highly recommend if you are a steak lover.
