Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street.     We dined pre-Hamilton show and it was perfect for our needs. Fun atmosphere, directly across the street from the theater and our server, Ava, provided excellent service. She was wonderful! Would definitely recommend pre-show.

    Had to stand at length at podium before even acknowledged by host for our early dinner reservation. Waited another 20 minutes for table to be acknowledged by a waiter. Food did not arrive until an hour past reservation and had clearly been under heat lamps, as pasta was dried out and sticky when served. Waiter never came to check on satisfaction with dinner. Forgot to serve a drink we ordered. Took so long that we had to skip dessert to make our train back home on time. Extremely loud inside and we had to shout to hear each other. It was hot and a woman at a nearby table fainted. A/c in there needs work. Will not return. This was our first and last visit.

    Dinner and show- Hamilton. What an awesome dinner!!! We originally booked because of location, but would travel back anytime for the food. We had the Alfredo with red shrimp and the biggest chicken parmigiana you could imagine. Really- the portions were out of this world and we ate every damn bite!!! YUMMY is all I got to say. Give them a try and you will agree, best authentic Italian is NYC!

    We went for a pre show dinner. Waited about ten minutes and no waiter. Finally order through the employee who sat us and everything came out timely and was delicious. When another waiter realized we didn’t have anyone helping us, he jumped in and was lovely! They are understaffed and doing their best and we will definitely be back.

    We went there specifically on a Sunday before the theatre for the lunch prix fixe menu. We were told that that special is only on weekdays. However, no where does it say that on the website. I scoured the website looking for anything that said this menu was only available on weekdays and found nothing. Bond 45 should either add this information to their website or honor the lunch prix fixe menu every day. I was very disappointed.

    Food was awesome. Love the garlic bread with fresh Mozz! Was celebrating my daughter's 13th Birthday and they delivered her dessert with a sparkler it was awesome! My only negative was my lemon drop martini was weak🙁but overall service was great would definitely come again!

    Bond is conveniently located near the theaters on 46th street and the Mariott Marquee so it is an excellent place to eat before or after theater. I have mobility issues and use a walker and was seated on basement floor. Staff was very accommodating. I was able to use the elevator which was very good but it was in back of restaurant. When I made reservation via Open table it would be good to list special requirements so I could specify person with walker in party.

    This place is amazing. I was here 2x on my last NYC visit. They have the best meatballs I've had in my life I also had the salmon & it was amazing. My boyfriend had the chicken parm & he loved it. Special bonus is the pepperoni on top. Highly recommend.

    Very touristy spot. We were seated downstairs in a dining area with very dated decoration. The server, Kareem, was polite and reasonably efficient (although seemed over committed to too many tables) but the food and drink was not of a good standard. The pepperoni pizza is served with honey on it and we asked that it be brought out on the side. While we did receive the honey on the side, the pizza was still sweet and when we told Kareem this he took the pizza away and then brought it back claiming that we were wrong! It was 100% sweet and our party of 5 all agreed on this. Lastly we asked for a latte and a cup of warm milk arrived. No coffee at all...just warm milk! I don't think I've ever experienced this anywhere! In fairness they fixed the issue and brought us a new coffee in a to go cup but as we were off to see a show immediately afterwards then this couldn't be taken into the theater anyway. I had high hopes for this restaurant after reading many positive reviews but our experience was not great at all.

    Pre-Hamilton show dining! Top notch!!! Must get the mind bending lasagne and the absolutely delicious Caesar salad and garlic bread. It killed me that we had to leave our left overs and head to a musical. Would’ve loved a midnight snack from doggy bag
but figured theater would make us trash it!!

    Checked in and had drink at bar. Bar was a plus. We were sat. Server came over and asked if anyone needed a drink and if we were ready to order. Literally two minutes after being seated. A couple ordered a drink and said we were still looking. Server came back with the couple of drinks and said “ Are you ready” somewhat pushy. Surprised because the Bond 45 of old had very professional servers. Just as a note the dining room has cafeteria lighting. Anyway, we started to order. Once my first guest ordered, the server said, “next”! Literally, “next” like we were at Denny’s . He went away to put in order. The table assistant filled our tall glasses with water to the literal brim, as you would likely spill if you picked your glass up and then showing the bottle, said “ another one”??? Salads served good enough. Little gem Caesars which is a Caesar salad with gem lettuce. We finished our salads and the server assistant came to clear plates. He literally took our used knives and forks off our plate with his hands and set the used utensils back on the table cloth. Mind you this is a white table cloth restaurant. I asked that he remove the utensils and bring clean ones. He was polite and accommodating. For some reason they left the large “ charger” plates on the table throughout the salad course as one could assume that it was a larger bread plate but bread was never served or offered. The plates remained as they brought out our entrees. There was some scrambling between the server and server assistant as they tried to serve the meal and simultaneously remove the large plates. Again ala Denny’s. Mind you the server was absent between taking the original order and delivering the entrees. It gets worse but OpenTable only allows limited characters in the response. Food +/- a 3 of 10. Three of us rated food horrible one really enjoyed her ravioli. Astoundingly bad food. My Snapper Livornese was cardboard with sauce. Been on Open Table decade plus. First bad review.

    Our food was amazing! My nephew said it was the best chicken tenders and best waffles he ever ate. The fontina popovers were a huge hit with our family! Two of us got the vegetable plate and loved it. My brother's pizza was delicious and plentiful. The chocolate mousse here is excellent and 4 of us shared it easily after our abundant meal! Highly recommend.
