Our waiter came to the table once and never saw him again. I can’t even tell you his name. The atmosphere was great and it was a beautiful restaurant but the experience was awful. I was so excited to get there and I planned on my meal the night before just to be disappointed. I ordered the paella and it was very dry and very salty.
Not worth the money compared to other bottomless brunch places I've been to. All of the food was really greasy and nothing was particularly good. Everything was just average.
Would eat here again! Everything was fabulous!
Wonderful. One of my favorite places in DC.
Boqueria must have taken to heart reviewers' comments on the noise level. We had a delicious lunch and could actually enjoy our conversation. The server was friendly and attentive
Carlos was an excellent waiter and all the staff was pleasant. The wine selection was especially good, with a wide variety of Spanish wines from all over the peninsula. The menu offered an excellent variety of foods, with both some classic as well as some unusual tapas.
GREAT FOOD! AND NOW OPEN TABLES TELLS ME I NEED 50 CHARACTERS TO TEL YOU THAT - SO.
Amazing food, my go to place in NY and DC. Always take friends and family when they come visit and it never disappoints.
Great food and service!
The octopus was worth the price, but the other menu items were priced too high for what was received. Drinks were on par.
Attractive space, attentive and accommodating service, delicious food. We had the chef's tasting menu for a party of five, plus a few extras added on. It was ample food even for this group of hearty appetites. We will definitely return sooner rather than later. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed dinner.
I’ve been to Boqueria a bunch of times before but this was my first visit to this location and the best experience of the three locations I’ve visited! Our server explained the menu very well and guaranteed that we had plenty of time to enjoy our bottomless brunch even though we only had 45 minutes until last call for food and she was right. The food came out quickly and we had an opportunity to try everything on the menu. There was nothing on the menu I didn’t like but my favorite was the steak and cauliflower. All of the bottomless brunch options are tapas style but by the end we were very full. The bottomless drinks are served by the glass rather than the pitcher and they really stick to their last call for drinks, which wasn’t an issue at all - we were buzzy after 3 drinks. For $42, I can’t think of a better bang for you buck brunch in DC.
For an unlimited brunch option, this is a solid choice. One of the highlights of this brunch was the seating. We had a party of 6, and were seated at a large bench style table with plenty of room for multiple plates at a time. The service was pleasant and welcoming, except that about halfway through our time, our waitress stopped coming around to check in, and we had to grab her attention to continue ordering plates. In some cases, we never received the plates that we did order. Luckily, they offer a 2.5 hour long reservation, longer than must brunches in the area, so we were plenty full by the time we left.
It was great. We were very surprised at how lovely the place was at 10:45 on a Saturday morning though! I have to comment on the bottomless Sangria-i was expecting it to be watered down and tasteless but it was actually really delicious! The food was amazing, and we really enjoyed every dish. My only complaint was how full I was at the end of it. I am not a big eater, so I enjoy small plates but most of the small plates were really not small at all, like the French toast or the steak and eggs. That being said, if I lived near by, this would be my go-to from now on. We will definitely be back!
Our server, Senovi, was fantastic! She was very attentive and kind throughout our dining experience.
Great food, excellent wine and very attentive staff however it's diminished by ridiculous high chairs and tables unsuitable for adults.
Liked the boquerones and hanger steak, great service even at happy hour. I will be back!
Very enjoyable meal of authentic tapas and an excellent paella. Nice sherry selection. Very quick service, so pace yourself and order a few dishes at a time.
Best Tapas around. Wish they would always offer the La Padilla and it wasn’t seasonal but food it still wonderful
Group of 18 people spread over two tables. Service was prompt and attentive food was great. The restaurant staff was very accommodating when we arrived a bit early for our reservations. Sharing Tapas was an excellent way to keep people interacting. Definitely going back.
Good selections of drinks and food choices from appetizers to desserts. Everything to share so could try many dishes. Scallops were very tasty as were lamb skewers, spinach, bacon wrapped dates, and tarron cake dessert. Go for it...
Everything was amazing, from the hostess, to the manager and servers. We were pleasantly accommodated for our Secret Santa brunch. The food was out of this world. Look forward to going back!
Wow this place is special! We weren’t very hungry when we got to the restaurant and only ordered a few small plates. But we found ourselves trying to eat every last bite of the food because it was so delicious. Highly recommend the half chicken- it really is the best chicken we’ve ever eaten. It was my birthday, and they sweetly brought me a dessert on the house. We are just visiting DC, but if we lived here, we would come to Boqueria often.
A very memorable dinner and evening. . .the “Tinta” sangria, ands the many tapas were great. We decided to do the “Boqueria Experience” and let the Chef bring his selections. All were outstanding - especially the Jamon Iberico and the Grilled Octopus. It is a two hour dinner, and we will definitely go back again.
Very rude waiter.
Great food! Excellent service!
Our server Will was awesome!
Great place to order several tapas to share. Paella is amazing.
Excellent service. Great food!
Great service and food, fun evening!
Wonderful service and very kind people. Missed my birthday celebration, but did say happy birthday at the end. The meat and cheese plate is really delicious and big! We enjoyed it and will be back.
We had a work meeting over lunch, and will definitely do it again! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it wasn't too loud. Highly recommended!
Fabulous meal, great food, excellent service
Paella was good, not great.
Delicious tapas and cocktails. Just loved it.
Gloria was a great waitress!! Patatas bravas are always a must
Great service and delicious food!
Great! They celebrated a birthday with complimentary churros!
Chic restaurant, service was quick and efficient. We weren't big fans of the white sangria. It was very lemony. Otherwise everything we had was tasty, and well prepared. We tried the garlic shrimp, lamb meatballs, lamb skewers, octopus, croquetas, sweet potatoes, squash & sausage, and the dates. We'll easily return.
First experience, very good food and attentive staff.
Wait staff was outstanding in helping us select various dishes...
