Great food and service - just a bit too loud for me!
I always love Boqueria for the brunch feast; it is a showstopper to celebrate any event with friends. The food was delicious as always, and this will not be our last visit!
Gorgeous restaurant, great vibe and the service is very attentive. Food is very good, my favorite items were the pan con tomate, patatas bravas and the churros are the best I have ever had at any restaurant. However, for the value I think the portions should be slightly larger. That is my only complaint. Overall, I would return anytime.
Great place, food, service, value and options! Came for a dinner date and we were both very pleased with all the tapas choices the food quality! Will come back again!
Bought friends to celebrate a birthday- a table of 8; excellent attention to service and delicious food. 3rd Visit here.
The food was amazing, definitely record the dates wrapped in bacon. mimosas were a hit as well. Loved the calm ambiance of the venue. Really close to public transportation and easy to get to. I would recommend everyone try Boqueria for brunch!
The service and food was excellent. I highly recommend giving it a try.
We had the Classic’s chef’s menu and it was great! Good way to taste all kind of different Spanish dishes without having to choose.
We loved Boqueria. Not too loud at all; a great relief to be able to hear each other when you're seeing old friends in NYC! Loved the fennel salad, pickled anchovies, patatas bravas... pretty much everything. Wonderful service: not intrusive or pushy, but always there when we needed him. A great night!
Asked for a candle for the dessert since we were celebrating a birthday and the waiter forgot :(
Food was good. Prompt service. Seating tight and uncomfortable.
The croquettes were cold and even though they changed it, it was still cold. They took it off our bill though
Always good food been several times, service was a little slow
This place is outstanding. I've been here about three times but first time at this location. The food is awesome and the service never disappoints. I had the luck of sitting at the chefs table which was great. Since I was dining alone it was fun watching all these chefs create all these wonderful dishes. I will keep coming back over and over again.
We loved the food at Boqueria! We did the Boqueria Experience- a chef's tasting menu. We.had the most amazing mushroom croquettes, blue cheese stuffed dates, jamon iberico, gambas, calamari, octopus, lamb toasts, nutella churros, and an ice cream and cake dessert! Wowie! The place was very loud and we were basically sitting with other people as the tables were so close together. They literally had to move the table for people to get in and out. It was worth it for the food.
This is a great restaurant in a Theater District. Always a good time!
Everything was very good. The food was delicious and the service was perfecrt.
Excellent food. You can never really go wrong at Boqueria. Our server was a bit questionable (we ordered espresso martinis and he replied that the guy who typically makes them wasn’t there so he wasn’t sure if they were going to be good???
Other than that had a great time!
This was my best experience at Boqueria West due to level of service and the quality of dishes we chose. My friend and I shared four tapas dishes-eggplant yogurt spread, Serrano ham, pan tomate (grilled bread rubbed with tomatoes), and lamb skewers. Eggplant was a delicious surprise, Serrano ham was served on a platter with pan tomate and olives, and the lamb skewers (recommended by the waiter, over lamb meatballs) was both flavorful and filling! We each had a drink with the meal, and the bill came to less than fifty a person, including tip! Fifty per person is a minimal cost for a night out; to spend less than that and enjoy good service and food is quite rare in Manhattan, these days. Well done Boqueria and I will be back for more!!
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
Fun night out. Helpful waiter. Did not rush us out when we wanted to stay for more drinks!
We did the Boqueria tasting menu and it was full of amazing and delicious dishes. Every single thing was delicious, though some were even better than others. The beans and artichokes with squid was fantastic, as were of course the shrimp in garlic and the oxtail. It was also a pretty astounding good value for what we got! The two "complaints" I would have is that when they served the jamon it had some sort of sauce on it, which really distracted from the flavor of the ham. That kind of ham doesn't need to be dressed! And the bread that came with things was pretty cold, which was an odd offset to the hot food.
The service was great, and particularly good for a Times Square restaurant. ;) Not highest-end, but very friendly and it was relatively easy to catch their attention when something was needed. Maybe not quite as much checking in as would be ideal, but really great.
There was little to no description of the tapas prefix menu options. The food was very good and the wine selection was great. Our server was very helpful with his knowledge of Spanish wines. The food was good and filling but nothing stood out as truly amazing.
Third time coming here and was not let down. Food is great and served quickly. Some of the seats are a bit cramped. We got sat between two tables with couples at them and it was uncomfortably close. We asked to move seats and thankfully waitress was able to find us seats at the kitchen bar area. Good experience once we moved tables
This was the perfect spot for my wife and I to grab a bite before we went to see a broadway show. The small plates were a perfect potion size for us and the chef spaced out the plates evenly so we were not overwhelmed. My wife was pregnant at the time and they were very accommodating with seating and “mock-tail” options that were very interesting. We will definitely be returning customers!
Second time eating here and enjoyed this time even more than the first. It is a bit crowded and loud but there were a lot of people, which is typical of a great restaurant in NYC. Outstanding service and amazing food. Will definitely go back.
Went there for the first time. Eclectic clean and You can smell the gentle aroma of the different dishes cooking in the kitchen. there were four of us and we ordered three tapas each. Way too much food. Two tapas per person. You can always order more if you want. Tried more traditional dishes most were delicious some were very good and two were so so. But I would assume that different tastes would like different dishes. As far as the actual preparation of the dish, the quality of the ingredients and the quality of the food were outstanding. This is a place where you go with friends and share plates and experiment and find what you like and find what you don't. PS the beer is excellent
Terrific for a group - the table was great, we all felt comfortable and had a wonderful time.
it was amazing! the service was amazing and the food was amazing. I couldn't ask for more.
Spacing and lighting. You felt slighty cramped by the very close seating and in most areas the lighting is so low it's hard to read the menu. Everything else is very good.
Good food, nice place. We try the Paella and it was really good 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great restaurant for a social dinner. Awesome atmosphere with very friendly staff.
Paella is burned, not many service, server is supper busy during the brunch time
Boqueria was great! Their brunch deal is a good price, for only $42 plus tax and tip you get unlimited Sangria (the Tinta is my fav) or mimosas for two hours as well as enough food for those at the table. I believe you have to be 2 or more to get the brunch, but it's definitely worth it.
Phenomenal. We did a tasting menu and every option was absolutely terrific. I cannot wait to go back.
Everything was great except the red sangria which was watered down and didn’t have much flavor.
Our favorite Boqueria location , always excellent food , great service by our server Jonathan . They always get it right , just a great restaurant .m
Server was very nice and provided insight
Most food was very good and service was great. “Iberico” ham didn’t come close to quality I have enjoyed in Barcelona.
Brunch was amazing and affordable!
