Worst Food ever ‘Turkish Food’ What a joke ! . I would not recommend to anyone unless they enjoy eating rice straight out of the microwave and meat cooked without any flavour.
Really disappointed and expected more after being to the one in DXB.
I ordered the traditional iskender BUT yet again dissatisfied
Ps - Definitely not ‘YOUR Bridge To Turkey !’
Food tasted great, didn’t take long to arrive, cocktail and mocktails were delicious and staff were very polite!
Food was amazing. And the service was spectacular, we were served by a gentleman called Mohammed and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great night
Horrific experience. We arrived on time but the bouncer made us wait in line for 45 minutes. When our turn came, Ulak (hostess) told us we were too late for our booking and turned us away. We complained to the manager, who said the restaurant don’t recognise bookings through open table anyway.
The food was really good, but the service is a little bit slow, and the Turkish tea that they served at the end was cold! Even though we asked them to change the second time they brought again it was cold, but the food was amazing!
A taste of home , outstanding table service and very friendly ! Thanks guys at bosporus .
The food was really good so it is a shame that the service I received ruined my experience. When I sat down I wasn't given a menu and after a little while I had to stop a waitress to give me one. That was what my whole experience was like - to order drinks, my meal, to ask for water I had to grab someone as they were running past to serve other customers. At times I could see staff trying to avoid eye contact with me so they didn't have to serve me. Whereas the table next to me seem to get their menu straight away, were even asked during their meal if they needed anything which I was gobsmacked at because it seemed like a real chore for them to even take my order. The only time a waitress willingly spoke to us was when they wanted to take the ash tray to give to another table. A real shame because I really liked the food and would have gone again but I won't be going again now.
The food was cold the service was worst and when I asked for changed instead of changing the guy told me "ok it was cold but how was the taste ?!!
Terrible service. waited over 90 mins for our food and the starter came out with the main course?! chips were cold and asked for a new portion which never turned up. then they tried to charge me for them. food was ok but the service really let them down.
The food was delayed over thirty minutes and we had to keep asking about it however when it did eventually arrive , it was delicious
Amazing experience. The food and service were excellent and the atmosphere is great. Situated on Leicester Sq, could be a bit noisy at times but if you love a central location - definitely the place to go
Despite having booking for 8pm we were asked to queue up and wait for a table for more than 20 minutes. Everyone in the queue had booked a table but it didn’t seem to matter. Our main course never arrived, despite waiting for it for an hour and a half. Other people were being served but despite asking several times we kept being told that there was something wrong with the kitchen. We gave up and asked for the bill. Then suddenly our main course was ready, which we declined and insisted on the bill as it was past 10pm. We were offered a 50% discount, but the bill was very steep considering we just had starters. Grateful we can go out, but probably the service was the worse in London ever.
Excellent food, only minus would be the menu that is overcomplicated as well as the service. Some tables had catlery some had to ask, tea was delivered after main course rather then before
Really nice place to eat. Just a warning that the whole time we were there in Leicester Square there’s often religious preachers. Some of them are calm, the time we went a man was screaming at the top of his lungs that we were all going to hell for a while. The actual food was lovely, the drinks were great and staff were very friendly though!
Service was really good food and drinks came on time as expected
Normally you wouldn't expect a great place to be at the heart of a very touristic place, but this restaurant was great. The food was lovely, the service super nice.
Everyone was so kind and helpful, even in the cold!
The food was bland, dry and tasteless. It definitely wasn't worth the price point at all.
The food presentation was amazing and so was the food, however the service was quite slow
Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff good food and service
Very terrible! Don’t recommend at all! We waited for a very long time just for somebody to take our order and then a 1hr wait just for the food to come out and only half had arrived. Then had to wait nearly 20mins extra for our friends meal when it should have all gone out same time. On top of this the food was cold which I mentioned to the waiter and she just said oh sorry. Nobody came to check if food was okay or even clear the table. We waited and nothing, we then requested for the bill which again took them so long just to bring this. Honestly if you want Turkish food to go elsewhere don’t book this place, very disappointing considering we heard nice things about the place.
Really good food, really nice staff, brilliant vibes around the restaurant. Bare in mind restaurant does not yet have fully heated outside areas, so you may or may not get a very cold non heated table.
The workers are rude i had booking at 7:30 and i sat down at 20:15. They wanted to take a sit in the corner which was cold and no heater.
Good amazing just a biit cold
They gave us raw meat which was awful.
I liked the place, we had a delicious breakfast we enjoyed our time
A lot of menu was not available
We visited The Bosporus in Dubai last year and were delighted to hear they now have a branch in London!
Food was amazing - as expected. However a little disappointed we were not offered the authentic Turkish hospitality.
No complimentary bread offered at the table upon arrival. Nor were we offered Turkish tea when we were about to leave. The prices are well above average so the absence of these small gestures is quite disappointing given an average Turkish restaurant can offer the same without the premium price.
Dinner for 2 and a child came to £91 WITH service charge.
The food was nice but the service was not worth the amount we paid for.
Amazing meal with my mum. Staff were really helpful in advising our choices (my mum had never eaten Turkish before).
The food was delicious. Only downside would be that we felt the portion sizes were a little too big and we ended up wasting a lot of food.
Can’t fault the place otherwise though! Lovely experience from start to finish.
Great location. Great decor. Reasonably priced menu. Great service. Good portions. Bit disappointed wasn't able to get the main choice of starter and main, as one was no longer available (but still on the menu) and the other item had run out. Overall, for my 1st visit, it was a good experience, and I shall be visiting again.
The service by far far was 5*.
The starters tasted amazing and were worth every penny.
The mains took a long time to come but they did apologise.
The mains were also a massive let down. Over priced and didn’t taste great. The food seemed cold but as we were waiting for so long we just wanted to eat and go.
Limited desert options on the night.
Personally we won’t be going there again.
It was not a turkish plate.......
Nice food but a bit on the pricey side. Restaurant is nicely laid out and presented, unfortunately we were by the door so a bit cold. Generally a nice experience.
The food was bland and cold. There was only one poor waitress serving everyone and the manager was really rude when we complained. Ruined my birthday!
This was our second time visiting and honestly this place cannot be faulted. The staff literally go above and beyond to accommodate your needs and wants. The food was amazing. They literally remembered us from our visit in October and called us by our names, such outgoing people. The food and drinks were just amazing. Cannot wait to go back again already!
Disappointed. The restaurant was closed on arrival. Like it even said on google its open. I was also allowed to make a booking. Poor service and management
The restaurant was closed even the bookings were open. I did make a booking and invited my guests. We have just realised when we arrived. Its a serious stupidity!!!
Waiting time to be seated was a bit long considering that I had already booked and it was not busy at all. The main course was very standard, nothing too special but served nicely. The dessert however was 10/10! I ordered a Nutella kunaffah and was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly also.
Rushed us to order, food was appalling. If there was an option to not pay service charge I wouldn’t have. Never again
Amazing Anniversary meal cant fault this place portions were generous beautfiul welcoming staff x
