Nice, bright. Servers were a bit slow but good value overall.
Very good food, very good service with all staff friendly and very welcoming.
Good food but found it rather expensive in relation to other very similar restaurants
Ioana and Meriyem were so lovely and attentive! Atmosphere and service was outstanding, definitely will go again!
The food was good but completely let down by the service. Staff were more interested to have a good time between themselves than to look after the customers …well our waitress at least. She was either chatting to staff, staff or family who were having dinner few tables away or she was not around.
When the main course came we ate from the same starter plates and cutlery as our starter, since our waitress was nowhere to be found. Until mid main course we couldn’t even try rice because there was no spoon provided. Before our pudding was served- cutlery were placed on the dirty table- the waitress did partly wipe it eventually. £115 for two people meal with one starter, one soup and one dessert to share seems to be a steep price to pay , especially considering the service.
Such a shame as I had a really nice birthday there before.
The restaurant looks great, so bright and fresh. The good was exquisite and the service excellent. We selected from a set menu and weren’t disappointed, it was great. But watching some of the other food coming out, will have to back and try other dishes.
A lot of Turkish people eating there which is always a good sign. FAB
Good food. Bit expensive for the value, but overall it wasn’t too bad.
Waited 50 minutes just for a waiter to come take our order despite us asking the first 10 minutes we have sat down. Then we waited over an hour just for our food (which were only the 2 of us) when people who have come after us have already received there’s and have gone (and they were in groups), by the time our food arrived the waitress gave it to the wrong people and realized 5 minutes later with no apologies and casually moved it onto our table. By the time our food have been given to us it was cold. Everything was extremely bland and we were really hoping the food would make up for the service. The service there was ridiculous, the workers seem unbothered and just slap everything onto your table. The hype is NOT worth it, do not recommend at all, save your money.
V poor customer service. Waited over an hour for the food. Cold. Staff looked burnt out
Food was very good but the waiters and waitresses was very slow and impatient. They did not have chicken or prawns which was not helpful for food choices so rushed to pick food instead of being told what they do not have. Sauces came late and rice came 5 mins after main part of dinner came. Cocktails very nice but overall disappointed.
Slow service, but very apologetic. Food outstanding and good value for money.
Amazing quality food served with the upmost respectful service. Loved the flavours, drinks, the ambience and seating.
The service was very slow, we have received the foood cold, The chicken doner meet was dried and cold, the rice was not fresh, there big plates but 1 portion wouldn’t do for 1 person, you still be starving, there was a guy Konstantinos very rude, definitely I will never go back, and I advise everyone not to step inside Bosporus!
Food very expensive and such a small quantity not even fresh
Poor experience with food and overall ambiance. Waiter seemed to be rushing and too stressed to show friendly attitude.
Overpriced. Food quality is poor - main dishes were served cold and tasted stale.
The food was absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed it. The menu was exciting and there are really creative and nice dishes that I haven’t tried elsewhere before.
The service definitely could have been better. Firstly we didn’t make a booking and was told there weren’t any tables. However we booked on open table and then got a booking. Staff weren’t attentive at all and I feel for the price we could have definitely got a better service. We paid 12.5% for the service charge and we didn’t receive any service.
But I would definitely recommend in terms of the food, it’s the service which spoils it.
It was so bad. The food was cold and the steak was like a rock even though i asked for well done. Useless prices definitely not worth the price i got a few chips and one small steak. For around 30 pounds or so. Ridiculous
The staff was amazing and was really nice. The wait time was not long at all appropriate for the food that was ordered.
Overpriced for the food you get, mains took 30 minutes to come out and usually birthday plates are complimentary and had to pay that and service charge. Chicken tasted nice, had lots of flavour and starter was nice.
Booked Bosporus as saw it was a recommended place to eat. As we had a show booked it was also in a convenient location.
We arrived on a Tuesday at 5pm and the restaurant was quite empty.
We were shown to our table. Our waiter told us to use the QR code to view the food and alcohol menu. It would have been nice to actually look at a menu with images of the dishes.
We ordered a cocktail and our food with the waitress. Startes we had the hummous which was really nice and a huge bowl with homemade bread. Also having the filo rolls filled with cheese they were also really nice.
We ordered chicken Shish kebabs.
I was disappointed that the kebab was not all lean chicken and appeared to also include thighs. It never came with salad as most do. I tried to order a side smaller salad but when it arrived it was huge and far too much for one.
The shepherd salad was delicious and fresh.
For 2 people inc one cocktail I was a little shocked at the £107 bill.
I love Turkish food and been to a quite a few restaurants. Bosporus was nothing special, food was t the best I’ve ever had. Definitely rate the hummus and salad. But don’t think I’ll go back there.
Atmosphere was non existent and staff wasn’t particularly friendly.
Exceptional staff and service from the team… always a good atmosphere and vibe
Excellent breakfast, plenty of nice food. Great price!
Had an amazing experience here. Great food, street performers, really good energy
Absolutely disgusting from start to finish. Starters were cold and after making a complaint, the waitress admitted that it was pre-made as the kitchen was busy.
We booked this restaurant for our daughters 18 th birthday as a family day out in London.
Food amazing but quite expensive
At no point did any off the staff make our experience any different or more special than anyone else’s in the restaurant ! Such a shame as you would think after spending £300 for 4 of us
A happy birthday drink would have been a nice touch !
Very good service & great food , very clean restaurant & staff , would go again , thanks
Amazing food, great wine and staff can catered for us as a group of 6 males with good banter, great service and plenty of understanding. My go to place in London
Overpriced, food terrible dry. Chicken doner tasted 2 days old. Would never go back. Go arias kebab off dalston road instead
Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices. Will definitely go back.
Food was nice, but pretty pricey. Service from Costa was very good.
No issues with the restaurant.
First time here. Was a nice place - decor was pleasant and seating comfortable. We wnt for our anniversary and noted this on the booking (through OpenTable) but the restaurant did not have a clue when we arrived! The menu is huge and it was quite difficult to go through on a phone. We asked for a recommendation and one of the guys told us to go for something other than from the grill so we did. It was beef in a sauce with peppers and onions and came covered with a bread "lid" that they take off to serve. It was good but next time I'd probably go for something from the grill as this looked really nice. The salad was tasty and fresh.
The kids menu has 4 or 5 items - all nice - and come with a choice of drink. We ordered the strawberry juice, which was delicious.
All in all a nice evening. I think a good place to come with friends for a group dinner, sharing plates, etc. Not for a romantic or intimate meal. As is pretty standard these days, the dishes do lend themselves to Instagram!
Would I return? Yes.
I was sadly disappointed! The tables were sticky and my friend ordered chicken which was dry.
My lamb shank with vegetables dish was very tasty.
However the overall experience did not live up to the expectations we had
Food was great but service was extremely slow and waiter was very intimidating.
Great meal and evening, our waitress was wonderful, do not know her name but she was Romanian with big lips. Despite being so busy and understaffed, we were made to feel welcome and attended to at all times.
It was my friend's birthday and he had a great time.
Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be back soon for a meal with my wife.
We have visited Turkey on many summer holidays, and only eaten Turkishn food when away, so we visited Bosporus as we was meant to be in Turkey.
The staff were friendly and helpful, as we know want we wanted but couldn't think what it was called, from our discipition they knew what we was on about. When the food came it was outstanding, one of, if not the best Turkish meals we have had. It is a little bit exspenvice, but you are in the middle of London, so did feel it was value for money for the mount you got, couldn't eat it all.
We would defaintly go back, the next time we are in London
Very nice place to eat and enjoy a nice evening out...
Food was very bland, very mediocre, prices were steep considering food quality. Atmosphere was good and service was great.
Service needs to be better, had to constantly ask for the waiters. Food was lukewarm. Surrounding tables not cleared in a timely manner after customers left.
Great communication lovely staff good prices
