   Was a real shame . Very nice place to sit but the table we were given had no cover, contrary to the write up we had read before. It was bigining to rain. We ordered four drinks three of which they could not supply so we decided not to stay. Major disappointment as the place certainly has potential.

   Firstly I would say that the outside setting itself is very lovely and we were looking forward to our experience sadly however.... Before our visit as there was a chance of rain I checked the website which said that every table was covered. Unfortunately when it started to spit ours wasn't and when we enquired to get it covered were then told they wouldn't do it because they needed 3 people to do it and they hadn't put them on as they were trying to be optimistic. Didn't want to run the risk of it becoming heavy so we were eventually offered the chance to sit inside on tiny and inappropriate school tables right next to the till where we were told we would have to be quiet due to a performance occuring. As we wanted to catch up and also maybe run the risk of having fun and laughter together we decided to ask the venue for a refund for the two people that had already payed. Something that should have been simple to do turned into a performance of it's own, from the incredibly rude and passively aggressive main till operator who managed to offend all 4 of us individually to it taking 4 or 5 different staff being involved (and largely being ignored by them) and it taking the greater part of 30 minutes to sort out. When my friend who is herself incredibly patient and understanding started to feel slighted and annoyed I knew we couldn't stay. It definitely feels that if anything deviates from the norm they struggle to sort it out. Can't comment on the food quality as we never had it. Also I would say that the website greatly implies that there would be a varied menu including meat. In fact under FAQ it states that yes there are vegetarian/vegan options available when actually everything is vegetarian/vegan bar one pizza that has crab meat on. Surely it would be more honest to declare that it's largely a vegetarian/vegan establishment so people who want to eat meat can make a informed choice? Overall a really unhappy and uncomfortable experience for all of us.

   A unique setting in a lovely garden in what for many is the nicest part of Norwich. We went on their first night of reopening and there were a few little teething problems which I am sure will be quickly sorted out. I would suggest for the longer term, warmed plates as the pizzas lose their heat quickly in the night air. The food was delicious and I appreciated the use of edible flowers from the garden and the Local touchés. The wine selection was good-the Côte de Gascogne in particular. We will return.
