Wonderful meal. Would definitely recommend. Only quibble is that the place was a bit chilly, but we’re learning that that’s common in Portugal.

They sat us outside and it was raining out. There was a leak and I got completely soaked. The staff apologized, but they should have comped at least dessert. It was cold and wet. The servings were small and cold

Small restaurant with Grandiose kitchen! Nested in an old house on a side street, it is not a spot you accidentally discover. So how lucky it is listed in OpenTable 😊 must haves: the lamb and octopus. This is my third time in Lisboa and this restaurant definitely made it to my re-do list everytime I will be back in the city!

Seriously so happy that I chose this place for my birthday dinner. It was the best part of our trip to Lisbon. Every dish was delicious and the service was amazing!!

Be prepared for unusual mixes at the flavor level. I personally was disappointed and found it was overall overpriced. Crab parpadelle was too repetitive and short ribs were too salty. I however really enjoyed the truffle mashed potatoes (side) and chicken liver parfait (snack). Really good service though - courteous and efficient.

Amazing atmosphere and staff. Cozy and comfy. Friendly staff made the experience a memorable one :) food was incredible! Wine selection and suggestions were perfect! Enjoy a wonderful night and get lost in the moment.

Both the exterior and interior of the restaurant were lovely. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated in the patio area by request. The sommelier was most helpful in choosing a wine to our liking. Fernando our waiter was very attentive but not intrusive. We began our meal with the oysters which were very tasty and the crispy quid which were good as well. Our main meals consisted of the braised beef, for my husband, who said the meat fell off the bone tender and the Prawns in a delicious sauce accompanied by a side of truffle mashed potatoes. Both paired very nicely with the Portuguese wine that was served. Our meal was followed by a scoop of gelato and a fine port. Overall, it was a magical evening. We will definitely recommend to all and look forward to a return visit when in Lisbon again. Thank you!

Lovely restaurant in center of Lisbon. Food is amazing, with series of fabulous international dishes, including lots of regional products and great assortment of wines. The staff is very friendly, helpful and gave great suggestions on wine to compliment my dishes.

Rich and interesting menu. Opportunity to watch chefs prepare. Great ambiance and attentive staff. They ran out of a few items presumably due to a tour group visiting which felt limiting for the menu.

Hubby brought me to BouBou’s to celebrate my birthday while we were visiting Lisbon. Our server was super attentive and very nice. The food was amazing! We ended up trying a number of small plates because it all sounded so delicious. We both enjoyed a dessert and the staff came out with a candle on mine and sang happy birthday. We wish we could visit again, but we will come back n st time we are in Lisbon.

Incredibly beautiful interior. We sat in the covered back area and the plants and lights and decor just made it all feel really romantic and lovely. We got the lamb for two and it was delicious!! 65 euro for an app, the lamb main and a few sodas. Good deal!

Excellent, creative food. Sit at the counter and enjoy the show of the expertly run kitchen. My husband and I ordered 7 dishes and they were all wonderful!

Boubous was a fabulous place. We had a family birthday party there with people from all over the world. We all loved the food and service.

We totally enjoyed our meal at BouBou’s. The short ribs and lamb dishes are outstanding. We also recommend the truffle mashed potatoes, broccoli, and rabbit appetizer. The service was impeccable. Our waitress recommended dishes and let us know we shouldn’t order a bunch of sides with the lamb as it is a rather large dish.

Great last night meal in Portugal. Astonishing tastes and creative plates - lamb shoulder and chicken tagine are just two that were terrific.

This was our best meal in Lisbon, went there with 4 friends and we all loved it. All the food we had was excellent, great service and just an overall great vibe as soon as we walked in the door, will definitely be recommending to friends!

Everything here was amazing!!! The ambiance, the incredibly well thought out, knowledgeable and friendly service (we had the best waitress EVERY), the delicious food and the dangerously good drinks (the espresso martinis are a must) were definitely a 10/10. We loved Lisbon and would DEFINITELY be going back to BouBou’s for dinner when we return.
My boyfriend wanted to eat there every night.
