The "Winter Casserole" (duck confit & lentils) is simply Delicious. I had it for lunch, then since we were only visiting London, I had the same for the late dinner. One of the staff explained a similar summer dish will become available soon. Will need to make a return trip from the USA!
Pleasant staff. Nice restaurant, helpful waitress. Didn’t need to tell them about our 50% off as they were Already aware. Nice starters, but not very big portions. Main however was plentiful. Daughters fillet steak was amazing and I would highly recommend the beef bourgignon, near melted in the mouth. Loved that the beet veg etc all came in separate dishes. Little disappointed with the dessert that us served much more professionally at my local harvester! I had Eaton Mess and unfortunately the bowl it was served in was too small so it was indeed a mess! Presentation was nit good. My daughter had a chocolate cake and whilst the cake itself was good the fact that it was sitting in berries and had berries on the top, which she hates, meant she k my are a little bit if it. It is a little oeuvre but no more than you winks eciect fit central London. However would definitely return and would love to try one if their afternoon teas in the summertime.
Always excellent food, service and atmosphere! Our go to restaurant in London
Great service and lovely food, we will definitely be back
Very good value pre-theatre supper and kir Royale. Lots of choice and excellent service.
Lovely waiter who went the extra mile for my sister’s birthday.
Asked if we were seeing a show and were very prompt with service etc.
Good solid restaurant with friendly staff and good deals on food or set menus. We liked the atmosphere, not trying too hard and doing the simple stuff well.
Warm friendly welcome the staff went over and above to make us feel welcome and the service was excellent. Food arrived in good time and was delicious. We had the a là Carte menu with 50% off main courses (if ordered 2 courses) fantastic value for money.
Set menu great value lovely food and fab service perfect for pre theatre
Dined here on several occasions, Cannot speak highly enough of the food, staff and service. Took advantage of 50% off food, and enjoyed the chateaubriand which was to die for..
We all enjoyed our meal, friendly service, food was good and several good prix fixe menu choices
Service a bit erratic food good. Very formulaic and rigid about adherence to open table special deals.
Another lovely meal. Good food and service at a reasonable price.
This place is consistently very good and my latest visit certainly confirmed that it is the best restaurant in the Covent Garden area . I cannot recommend enough.
It was good, but the vegetarian roast ran out by 1pm. They did try to accommodate this with an alternative, however it was a bit of a random combination. Falafel with the trimmings 😂
When booking through Open Table you can get 50% off your food bill (min 2 courses).
This represents excellent value as the menu is reasonably priced anyway.
The restaurant is also in a good location close to Covent Garden.
My second visit to this restaurant! Excellent hearty DELICIOUS French fare, very very reasonably priced meal for central London standards, good selection of wine and attentive polite staffs.. what a gem ! No doubt, I will definitely return again!
I can’t fault the experience. It was just lovely. The staff are lovely as well.
It was very hot where we were downstairs. We had pre theatre dinner - it was ok, just didn’t feel great value. The waitress had trouble hearing because of the noise.
Had lunch yesterday & was my 2nd visit & generally everything was excellent, I actually thought the food was better than my initial visit, my confit of duck leg was fantastic, also a nice touch at the end when bought a little birthday cake out for my friend's 60th.
Every course was great and a decent portion size. The giant couscous in particular was really tasty. Great value for the location too. We were sat downstairs and there was a nice atmosphere, with candlelit tables.
Food was good and good value as we were offered 50% off, even on a Saturday night.
Really no need for background music as the table next to us were quite loud.
Unpretentious French cooking with good service and a reasonably quiet and relaxed atmosphere. My seabass was perfectly cooked and the black olive dressing worked very well. Service was efficient.
Despite being in the theatre district and the majority of customers going to see a show, the food took a very long time to arrive. When it did finally come, we had to rush to get to the ballet on time. The mussels were overcooked, flavourless and chewy, the steak cold and bacon burger had no bacon. The staff were lovely but we will not visit again or recommend to others.
Hearty French fare. Nicely served - piping hot. For us great winter pre-show. 50% off food made good value. V nice & professional service.
Great food and service. It is our regular spot in central London for dinner whenever we're in town.
The 50% off food Open Table offer is good value at this unpretentious French restaurant in Covent Garden
The downstairs eating area was poorly lit and the service was erratic
Make sure to check the bill to ensure the discount has been applied
Good quality food with a range of food and prices available. Wine list was good and reasonable. Discount was very good so a very pleasant dining experience
Extremely polite and welcoming staff. My friend was going to be a little late so they found me a chair to sit and wait, offered me some water. The service was excellent, not rushed but not at all slow. The food was hot and delicious and excellent value for money. I will definitely be returning there again soon. Highly recommend for any occasion or just meeting friends.
Very good food. Fair deals on dining. The service was great. The waiter was very nice, funny & polite.
I have been going to Boulevard Brasserie with a friend on a regular basis for over 20 years and have only once had a minor disappointment. I have recently been there with three of my work colleagues who wanted to go having heard me talk about it. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience - the food, standard of service, ambience and price. I will be back with my regular companion over the Easter holidays (I work in a school) for a couple of visits. I also have some friends visiting from New Zealand in May and they would like to go on my recommendation so we will be a party of four at the end of May. Always a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Good food, superb service and competitive prices - what's not to like!
Business lunch at the Boulevard. Been many times before and will continue to go.
Nice relaxing atmosphere. Not rushed. Easy to find
My friend and I had a lovely lunch at Boulevard Brasserie last Monday. The food was delicious and we each had a prosecco to drink. Using the 50% off the food offer (minimum of 2 courses) we thought the meal was very good value. The staff were attentive and allowed us to sit and catch up without rushing us. I've been several times over the years and will definitely return. I would recommend this restaurant especially with an offer.
Absolutely loved it, can't fault it. Amazing prestige set menu for great value and incredible food. Lovely welcoming staff, free glass of prosecco as celebrated an anniversary. 10/10 would recommend and go again!
Great pre theatre lunch, excellent food good service nice and cosy
Excellente adresse, l'accueil était très chaleureux, le cadre agréable et la nourriture très bonne ! Nous avons passé un agréable moment !
