Boulevard Brasserie is one of Covent Garden’s most iconic restaurants fixtures. Serving heart-warming French classics since 1991, this grande dame of brasseries is the perfect place to soak up Covent Garden's unique cultural heritage. Set over three intimate floors with views of the Royal Opera House and décor reminiscent of 1920’s art nouveau Europe, Boulevard Brasserie echoes a true sense of Parisian style in London’s own Theatreland. The restaurant and café offers a selection of carefully curated menus founded on seasonality, freshness and flavour. Guests can choose from our popular Lunch and Pre-Theatre Menu, Light Lunches, Dinner Menu all serving Parisian classics such as French Onion Soup, Moules Marinière & frites, Croque Monsieur, Coq au vin, Crème Brûlée and our much-loved Traditional Afternoon Tea Menu.

An enjoyable evening, with good food and excellent service. The only thing I would question is the 'background' music. If you need it, and personally I don't think you do, shouldn't it be French music? (You really have so much to choose from.)

With regret I have to say this was not a good experience. In the past I have had nothing but praise for this restaurant, however this experience was not the best. Hopefully it is just a blip and will return to its previously exemplary food/service. My special request for comfortable seating had not been considered. This was resolved of sorts but involved us moving tables half way through our meal. Both my and one of my friends main courses were excessively salty. The set menu was not as varied as has usually been the case so we had to go from the main menu. That in itself was not a problem, although a little disappointing, but to be told 4 times we had to pay for the Kia Royale (which was part of the "meal deal" was excessive.

Have been here several times and it’s always our go to restaurant in Covent Garden. We went with four friends two of whom experienced their first meal at BB. Food as always was excellent and with the 50% off offer excellent value.

We do not visit London too often these days, but when we do the Boulevard Brasserie seems to have become our default early evening restaurant. The food is always good, and the staff always have a smile on their faces.

Two couples in their later years living in different parts of the Home Counties meeting in London for lunch, each with their own food idiosyncrasy. Boulevard Brasseries is excellent for; location, service, food and wine quality. All of us really enjoyed the experience.

We had a lovely evening at Boulevard Brasserie, the staff were aware it was our anniversary and made us feel very welcome. The food was great and a good, and not overly extensive, wine list. I would highly recommend and shall return.

A very nice evening with a good table in the window and a free bottle if Prosecco in celebration of my granddaughters graduation. The food was well presented and tasty although I was disappointed that the shells were left on my prawns although I had asked to have them removed. The service was very good and the waitress was friendly and pleasant. A good bottle of Rioja went down well and the bill was reasonable although 12.5% service charge is quite hefty. Overall a good restaurant and a favourite.”

I had booked our table for 18.00, but Saturday 29th was so hot that my sister and I pitched up at 17.15 begging to be let in and desperate for a cold drink. To their credit, even though they were very busy, BB was very welcoming and showed us to a table right by an open window. I had said in the booking that this was a birthday (mine) meal, and we received a free glass of Prosecco each which was lovely. We chose the set menu and both had salmon followed by the pork chop; for pudding we had ice-cream (pistachio and cinnamon) and creme brulee. My creme brulee came with a birthday candle and 'happy birthday' sung by two of the waitresses. Our bill, with drinks and service, came to just under £60.

We had a lovely time and will return. Recommended.

I would say the food was acceptable without being exceptional. The onion soup was tasty but difficult to deal being in such a small bowl. The beef bourginion needed a little colour though tasted nice.

Booked a pre theater fixed price 2 course meal. Reservation seemingly locked us into one with kir royales for a bit more. Not a big deal, but our son is under age and we didn't really have a chance to opt out... Not a huge concern. Asked for water, they of course bring bottled so another charge. Big issue came when service was slow and it ran very close to curtain call. In the end, they tack on a service charge. In the end, their 16 pound menu comes much higher

We were disappointed by the food. We had the set menu. It looked good and the price was reasonable for the location. But the quality was no more than average. My wife pointed out that we were not offered the a la carts menu and that had some good items.

Disappointing. I will not go there again.

We wanted a relaxed simple meal at 3.30 after a midday performance at the Opera House. The Brasserie proved to be ideal. The staff were excellent, and the food was good. We ate from the top table menu with a free Kia royale, which was amazingly good value for the location.

We were disappointed in this restaurant. The server seemed annoyed with dealing with allergies, and service was slow. The cigarette smoke from all the customers who smoked and were standing outside the restaurant’s doorway made it feel like they were inside the restaurant. My food was over-cooked, then when I sent my food back and it came back raw. Overall, disappointing and would not recommend it and will never return.

The service was prompt and the food acceptable. My wife ordered fish with additional green beans which did not arrive until her meal was nearly finished. When the waitress brought the green beans my wife politely stated it was too late. The waitress was visibly annoyed and clearly not happy. We would have paid for them!

The set menu with the Kir Royale included is good value at £23 for 3 courses, or £20 for 2, provided there is something you like from the 3/4 choices. With a couple of glasses of wine , £72 inc.service - we were happy with that for central London.

Undercooked confit of duck. Was told that was the house standard. Don’t expect to find blood pooling on the meat. 2nd attempt had very little meat - I think they’d simply pulled off the under-cooked meat and covered it with a big flap of skin.
Very disappointing.

Really pleased with our experience at Boulevard Brasserie, we arrived early but were welcomed and shown to a table immediately. The meal was very good and the staff were very good with our nine year old granddaughter as well as the three adults in the group. We would certainly recommend the restaurant to friends and family.
