Really friendly staff, amazing food and such good value on the set menu!
Great place, really liked the food, the decor and friendly, helpful staff. I would book again
First visit was very impressive. Outstanding choice for our vegetarian diner. All dishes well presented and delicious. Charming service. in a pleasant dining room.
Had a Pre Theatre meal prior to seeing the show there. An interesting menu where the food was excellent and the staff were attentive and accommodating. Our first visit to the Boulevard, but will certainly be going again. Nice buzz about the place.
We ate here for the first time as we were seeing a play. A lovely setting in Soho and very chic. Attentive staff and lovely decor. We're both vegetarian so my husband had artichoke soup as a starter and baked cauliflower with dahl. I had baked butternut squash with salad followed by delicious baked cheesecake. Recommend even if you just want a drink, bar also does snacks. Great theatre too!
Wonderful. A truly amazing all round restaurant, The food was tasty, seasoned, balanced and well presented, the service flawless, so natural it felt as if they were all enjoying it. we had the bbq chicken and the salmon. a hidden gem in the middle of Soho. now we really want to come and see a play, have the whole experience. JS
Beautifully presented, if small, portioning on the pre-theatre menu. The a la carte menu servings appeared more robust. Service was almost over-attentive (we were dining rather early as we were seeing a show in the theatre). Definitely one of the nicest looking new restaurants in Soho - would make a good date venue TBH.
Food was good but the portions a bit on the skimpy side for the price.
Buzzy and welcoming atmosphere. Attractive and comfortable environment. Excellent food and intelligent, attentive service.
Really great fresh food, delivered promptly so had plenty of time before the show.
I would certainly eat here again.
A new Theatre restaurant in the middle of soho that is an absolute gem 👌
Lovely food Good friendly service Theatre very atmospheric and show was fun and singing was excellent. Would definitely recommend it to friends
The vegan options were amazing. Blown away actually!
Very pleasant and attentive staff. Thank you.
Bar menu appetising and varied.
A warm welcome, great food and relaxing ambiance all added to a thoroughly enjoyable experience at Boulevard Theatre Restaruant. The staff were very friemndly and helpful, and the food was really well prepared and presented
We decided to go for dinner at the Boulevard Theatre after our friends recommended it. We had a lovely evening, the place is very special, the food was delicious and the staff was amazing. We asked for a cocktail that was not on the menu and they were happy to prepare it. Everyone was very friendly, asking about our day and making us feel welcome.
A beautiful performance space - in the round, intimate yet airy. Very comfortable leather seats. Sound mixing / acoustics were spot on - nothing felt pushed. Ghost Quartet is wonderful, intoxicating show - such a talented cast of actor/musicians who remained beautifully connected with both their fellow performers and with the audience throughout. A fantastic night out.
Happy little bar/restaurant, hidden away in heart of Soho. Obviously suitable for theatre-goers, but also handy for those wanting a quiet retreat (except pre-show) in such a central area. Good food from a flexible menu. (Pity about the bread, though - can't be that difficult to find proper bread round here, surely?)
It is a lovely restored Art deco theatre. There is space and calm which is rare in Soho on a busy Sunday. The food was good quality and well priced for the location. There was no service as such, the waitresses were many, they had trouble knowing what the dish of the day was and just generally didn't pay attention when we asked for the bill etc. With only a few tables occupied, not impressed, but with the automatic addition of service charge almost everywhere now, service doesn't really exist anymore.
This was a most pleasant experience with very helpful and efficient staff and delicious food. From the bar you could see the very busy streets of Soho from above, but inside felt like a haven of civilisation.
We told the staff several times that we were there for the show but they were very slow in bringing our food so we had to bolt it to get to our seats on time. I very much enjoyed the food and location, and would have liked to be able to eat at a more leisurely pace.
we just had a Veggie burger and a cocktail before the play. Both were delicious and we are determined to return and try more from the menu. Room is an utter delight and service on the night was great if a bit over attentive. Will definitely return and write a fuller review when we have eaten some more!
Excellent new space with fantastic restaurant and bar
We had lunch using a special 'meal deal' in association with the Sunday Service afternoon recital. This provided really terrific value. The food was excellent, the service very good indeed without being obtrusive. When we arrived (first, at a bit before midday) I feared the room was going to be too hot but it improved greatly. The only very slightly negative point would be sound levels. I know it's difficult to get it right, but the hard surfaces amplified the voices of other users to a level that made it a bit heavy. Overall: excellent. Especially if you are offered a deal.
The menu is fabulous and the food exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive. We found the ambiance comfortable and a sensible level of background music. The whole space has been designed superbly, spacious and comfortable. Will definitely be visiting this venue on a regular basis now.
A great place to meet friends and enjoy a meal. I went for brunch and had a delicious avocado on toast.
