Very limited menu, very basic food at not so basic prices. Very cramped and was sat next to a draughty door which was the entrance to the pub ( not ideal). Asked for some soup as I had recently had mouth surgery and was unable to chew chicken burgers etc, was offered porridge (to accompany my pint of Guinness)! Maybe get a tin of Heinz in the lada? Terrible.

Best pub in Basingstoke, by far! Great food and very reasonably priced beer. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Booked seats so we could watch the Rugby World Cup final, I contacted them before booking to ensure they would have the game on, when we arrived, the TV was not working but the one guy was fiddling with it. 10 minutes before the game, the TV was still not working and no one had updated us or even came to apologise. We saw a few people looking at the tv regularly and then leaving, so we left too. Not sure if it was fixed after but it was rather disappointing. We were looking forward to a good meal while watching the game - we even organised a babysitter! Ended up on our sofa eating cold pizza. At least we won. Food looks good and decently priced though.

Burgers are delicious. Recommend the halloumi burger. Great selection of wines and gin too

Had a very lovely evening with great friends. Food was yummy service was excellent. Very clean and comfortable pub.
