Very beautiful ambience with wonderful energy surrounding every space of the restaurant. The lighting was perfect and made for a enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and the service was superb. Will be returning and highly recommend.
Great service and cuisine. Wine and drinks list are perfect.
We love Brabo, great food, service and atmosphere!
Four of us had one of the most enjoyable evenings I can remember. No one had any criticisms of the food at all, and the service was fine. A superb restaurant on Alexandria's famous King Street. So glad the disaster of the pandemic has not killed it off!
Overpriced, under serviced, food was good but reduction for price point.
By now you know I am a huge fan of Brabo. Great space, extremely attentive to social distancing, staff—the hostess and Manny this time—are phenomenal.
The chef deserves all the awards that can be bestowed. Beet salad was light and fresh. The short rib was excellent—and I appreciated that they were donating a part of the proceeds to charity.
Just a really pleasant experience.
The brunch was perfect. Thanks to Gabriel for coordinating.
And thanks to the hostess who took immediate action when the smoke alarm came on due to someone smoking in their hotel room above us. Her calm demeanor and I’ve got it under control attitude is to be commended!
Went to Brabo for brunch the day after Christmas. The food was fantastic - loved everything we got, including the Breakfast of Champions cocktail! They did a great job spreading out the tables and guests. We had an entire room to ourselves. Felt very safe!!!
Excellent food and service. We really enjoyed it!!
Brabo was delightful. All prepared fir Covid safeguards. The half roasted chicken was fantastic, but the standout was the French onion soup. Thanks for the recommendations David.
Nice atmosphere, food was very good - I had french onion and steak tartare with french fries.
Brabo used to be a good restaurant. Sadly, it is no longer. The menu was not enticing and the food was less so. Service as poor and the ambience was dreary. Brabo needs a good chef and experienced servers.
Grilled octopus was excellent.
It was a wonderful birthday experience
Excellent service, food, and drink.
Servers were great!
Food and service was outstanding. Although the restaurant was clearly short staffed, we were in no hurry and let our server know that up front. It was a leisurely and delicious meal.
Totally disappointed. This is our 4th visit over the past 10 years, and we had great expectations. My wife ordered the "steak frites", medium rare. The steak was almost well done, the sauce tasted like A1 steak sauce. I ordered the beef short rib Bourguignon. It was so over done as to be inedible; the sauce was the same as my wife's, and the vegetables were all over done.
Totally disappointing for a place that has always excelled. The service was perfect.
Awesome food and service. Very knowledgeable and professional waiter.
Very clean. They are concerned with your safety. Excellent staff. The food was good and we could eat outside
The restaurant was clearly understaffed. But the wait staff did try to do the best that they could. The food was outstanding.
We were sat outside where it was pretty dark, the food was very overpriced for the quality. All in all won’t be returning
We left after having no service for 25 minutes. Wouldn't return.
We went here for our wedding dinner after we got married and they made us feel so special on our wedding day. The food was amazing, the ambiance was so intimate, and social distancing was in effect.
Not sure why the high reviews for this place. My experience was not the same. Food was over salted and over priced. Limited wine menu. We stayed at the Lorien Hotel and were looking forward to trying Brabo for the first time. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed.
Excellent food. Very good service. Nice cocktails. My best indoor eating experience this September, anywhere.
best food ever, thanks to Chef sebastien's cuisine, will be back soon for the quiche and duck confit, great service as well, highly recommend
chef sebastien's cuisine is the best in old town, there is no way youll see me in those by the water places that dont even respect social distancing, at brabo you have plenty space and food/service is just what I expect. the leek quiche was to die for, bourguignon and duck were also memorable, thanks to Meghan the manager she is amazing with great wine recommendations.
A great experience with delicious food, friendly staff, appropriate COVID spacing.
Entry can be difficult to notice.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time here! The food was delicious (the Red Velvet cake is to die for), and the servers were wonderfully kind!
We had a wonderful evening at Brabo, the food was excellent and the service too.
We went during restaurant week, 35$ for app, entree and dessert. If you added some of the normal prices of each plate, it added up to less than 35$ so you end up paying more for the same food. But the ribs and the duck was great. Appetizers and dessert was good. Pretty basic. But service was great.
Never disapointed with Chef Sebastien’s food, fresh, simple, flavorfull, best French place in old town. Will be back for more short ribs and the chicken for two, wine selection is very good and on the cheaper side with good pourings, highly recommend
This is a challenging time for restaurants but Brabo did a great job spacing tables at a safe distance, having all staff wearing masks, etc. to protect everyone. Both of our Restaurant Week dinners were excellent, the staff did an excellent job serving us, and the wine list had quality selections at a very fair price.
Small menu and each course was excellent! Plenty of space between tables. Our waiter David was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. A very good Covid era experience! We will be back.
Great food, sat outside with dogs. Service was fair.
As always very good food and service, very clean restaurant, with smaller menu but well executed
Thank you for joining us, Alicia. We're glad you enjoyed yourself, and hope to see you back soon!
Brabo Brasserie is outstanding in every way. We want to give a special thank you to our server, Emmanuel. He's an expert mixologist -- the cocktails he made us were excellent. We're already planning our return visit.
Thank you so much for the kind words! We agree that Emmanuel is such an excellent part of our team and are glad you enjoyed his presence as much as we enjoyed having you in! We look forward to welcoming you back soon!!
Even though Covid rules have forced changes, Brabo is a shadow of its formerly elegant dining experience. Food (quiche and salad) was good but much smaller potions than pre-Covid.
Thanks to the chef foe accomodating our evening, memorable experience perfect to forget the pandemic, thanks Brabo
Alicia, thank you for coming out to join us on day 2 of re-opening! I'm glad you had a good evening, we were certainly glad to be back to serving you. Don't be a stranger! Kindly, Meghan Sigurdson, Manager
