We enjoyed eating here, our first post-lockdown meal, complete with staff wearing gloves and masks.
Quite busy as it was Super Saturday, the menu has not changed much but the food is consistently good here.
As usual a very nice evening, with excellent food. In fact due to the corona virus it was very quiet so was extra pleasant.
Lovely pre theatre dinner.
Went at 6pm wasn’t very busy.
2 courses on set menu. Was Just perfect!! Found a parking space just outside. Really lovely evening.
Always have a good experience here. Friendly and delicious.
It was nice enough but nothing special...
Good restaurant for a special Sunday lunch. The food was delicious, atmosphere relaxed and overall a very enjoyable meal.
Always a very good place prior to going to the Hampstead theatre.
We go regularly and we are happy with the food and the service.
Nice restaurant with good food and good service. An agreeable meal
Swiss Cottage.... go to Bradley’s. I’ve just booked 4 more occasions!
Amazing food at reasonable price. Friendly staff. Recommend.
Bradleys is charming BUT it's overwhelmed with the Hampstead theatre-going crowd. Our food was delicious but tepid. It was a strain for the staff. I will go there again, but not in the early evening.
A relaxed lunch at a Michelin started restaurant just a short walk from the hotel.
Fixed price lunch menu which was good value. Starters and the dessert were excellent. The mains did not quite match but still good.
Setting really nice and staff pleasant, could have been a little more attentive (eg wine glass refills) and focused a little less on resetting tables for dinner.
Overall, enjoyable and very good. Better main courses would have nailed it!
An absolutely delicious meal; I shall recommend the restaurant to friends. The location is so convenient for the Hampstead Theatre.
Excellent pre-theatre dinner menu. Good value, tasty food and great service.
Three of us went to Bradley’s pre theatre and had the two courses fo £20 .
The menu had an excellent choice , two of us had fish and the other chicken all
delicious and tasty.
The desserts looked good but we were full!
Well presented food which was also tasty. Service first class. Food delivered timeously in plenty of time for the theatre .
Recommended by a friend. What a find! Had a fabulous meal. Service first rate too. Am now busy recommending to my friends. Will definitely be returning.
This is a favourite restaurant of mine when I wanmt spoiling. I have been going on and off for several years now and have always had a great meal.
Brilliant place to eat before going to Hampstead theatre.
Great place to eat before the theatre round the corner
Most definitely. I have been there on many occasions over the past six years (including hiring out the whole restaurant in May 2014) and will certainly be coming many more times!
Lovely cosy restaurant with great service and beautiful food. Really appreciated the little extras like the amuses bouches to start with and little tiny patter of desserts to finish. The bread is maybe the best thing about this place though, especially the walnut loaf. Great options for veggies and vegans too.
Super food and waiters were fantastic at a busy time
We realise it was Valentine's, and indeed the restaurant was full, but we were rushed, the bill appeared before we asked for it, and we thought the menu lacked imagination (apart from the red mullet) and was less appealing than on the many times we have come before. Had the management changed?
Lovely - just felt the lighting could have been a bit warmer, more intimate.
I was meeting up with an old colleague and Bradley’s was a perfect location with an excellent offering on the set lunch menu. We had a lovely time and will certainly return.
We had an excellent meal at Bradley's before going to the Hampstead Theatre which is just around the corner. The service, as always, was excellent, especially as the waiters knew we were going to the theatre. I had the soup to start which was smooth and delicious, followed by the haddock -- again very tasty. The lemon sorbet dessert was a perfect finish to a great meal.
We had dinner with friends on Sat., 1 Feb., pre-theatre. The food quality is excellent, well presented and the service is prompt and polite. We have eaten at Bradley's over the years and always find it a place to return to for an excellent meal. It is highly recommended.
I keep going back to this place because I think surely last time was just a hiccup. But the quality of the food does not match the high prices they charge. This time it was Saturday evening and the service was extremely slow indeed. Even just to get the bill, when all the other diners, bar one table, had long gone, took ages.
Great attempt at seasonal cooking and the dishes were well presented. There could have been more engagement from the team on why they were out of stock of wines and selling side dishes or letting diners know if they needed them? Food on the whole was tasty. Salad starter had no seasoning and there was no cruet set in the table to add your own. Should have been delicious but was bland. Beef was superb - like the best kind of Daube and desserts were good. Lemon sponge nice and light, not over sweet
Food and service was wonderful
Vegan options for the chefs samples, mini sweet bites and bread was limited for my vegan friend. 🙁 Possibly I should have mentioned with booking but with the good vegetarian/vegan menu options I just assumed.... Everything else was great and will be back!
Took a friend visiting from Spain. We were pleasantly surprised by the tasty meal. I was a bit disappointed as I had to change my choice of fish From Hake to Turbot.
The Crab and foie gras were good.
The soufflé would have been better in anything but prunes
Overall good place .
Very good value on the prix fixe and very good service.
Very efficient pre theatre service and good value set menu
We had an excellent dinner, as always at Bradleys. Our young waiter, whilst very willing and polite, had some small difficulties in understanding us.
As usual, we had an absolutely delicious meal, very well served, at Bradley's before going to the Hampstead Theatre around the corner. I had a tasty mushroom soup with tarragon--smooth and really good. This was followed by hake with Jerusalem artichokes--such an amazing combination and every bite was savoured. My favourite sorbet finished off the meal to perfection. I highly recommend this wonderful local restaurant.
First and foremost the food was really good but the great work of the chefs is being let down by the waiting staff. There seems to be a complete lack of training. This was a Saturday night and the restaurant was not even half full but we were kept waiting for our drinks on arrival. The amuse bouche was placed on the table and the waiter made no eye contact and was already walking away while still describing them. They then started spraying and cleaning the surrounding tables and blowing out the candles while we were still eating. It wasn't even 10pm. and there were still other diners there. When questioned about why he was doing this he replied "because we are closed" and compounded it by saying that he had left ours alight!! This after having spent £150 for two people. The place lacks 'love' and is being run by indifferent staff who seem to want to get home asap. The owners seem to be absent but perhaps they should pay more attention and then they might not be half empty on a Saturday night. Needless to say we will not be returning.
Best ever visit, food was really good, service was a bit varied but when it was good it was very good
