Brasserie of Light
Slow service. Cold food. Under-seasoned food. Felt like a restaurant that doesn’t feel the need to make an effort....
Good veggie options.
Fun atmosphere. Like a party, but where you can still have a conversation. Bartenders were great! Can’t wait to go back.
Great ambiance... burger over cooked, waitress not too well versed in wines... no bread was offered.. still beautiful, good music, good people, stunning decor. Really hip!
Aesthetically wonderful. Great hustle and bustle. Food good but not exceptional. Service is terrible, terrible, terrible. Endless mistakes - such as gin and tonic turning up with no gin in a glass full of ice; server not writing down the food order and a colleague appearing 20 minutes later to ask us what we had ordered; servers studiously avoiding diners’ eyes.
Surpassed my expectations in terms of decor and food quality.
Staff were relaxed and friendly.
Had drinks at the bar and tried some of the cocktails.
Starters & mains were delicious in particular the burrata and smoked tomatoes which came under a glass cloche filled with smoke. The blackened cod was better than sushi samba’s and the side of rice and quinoa flavoursome. Full on favour in every bite and reasonably priced all considered.
If you are a Barbie girl in a Barbie world .... this is for you kiddo ... especially the pink marble & mirror loos!
We were there for a special birthday.
Welcome excellent. We were served by Sharif who was charming polite. The dishes we selected excellent presentation and enjoyed very much. They had noted we were celebrating a birthday and presented a little cake. The ambience, decor stunning. Fabulous.
Amazing desserts and cocktails with reasonably priced main courses. I’d go back again
Service was very slow we had to go to the till to pay for our bill
Food and service very good BUT the tables are too close together. There is no privacy with the tables about 300mm apart, you can hear everything your neighbors are saying.
Overpriced terrible quality wines but a nice ambiance
Couldn’t fault it. Expected to be over priced but thought it reasonable. £13 for a full English. Quality of everything top notch and made a lovely special birthday breaky
Apart from the woeful state of the ladies toilets, this was a lovely experience, thanks mainly to a very friendly and efficient waitress, great food and drink and a fabulous space to be in awe of.
Service disappointing. Hard to grab a server.
Very noisy so difficult to talk to your fellow guests.
Food all pre prepared and reheated. Poor quality, can’t get a steak medium cooked properly. Burgers only available well done. Disappointing and not worth the hype.
Our 3rd and final visit. Such a shame the food is so poor.
This is a completely stunning venue. When we visited it was full with people queuing to get in. The food was delicious and the staff helpful. My only criticism is that it was hard to get their attention.
This is a fabulous place to eat and drink. Absolutely stunning dining room, food very tasty indeed - truffle rice balls, avocado fried chicken, bang bang chicken salad all wonderful and mustn't forget the Golden Apple dessert. For the experience and quality of food this is pretty good value I think, a treat without having to rob a bank. The only disappointment was that once seated we waited 10 minutes without being offered anything to drink, not even water, and there were still no drinks on the table when the starters came. Service after that was very good however. Thoroughly recommended.
My third time here... one of my favourite places to have lunch
Food is served nice and quick but make sure you are well hydrated as every time we ordered drinks we would have to ask numerous staff members to find out where they were.
A high end restaurant operating like an instore dinner. It does the Ivy brand no favours.
Food itself is extremely good, well cooked, prepared and presented.
Tip: Must try harder
Amazing food, amazing decor, can’t complain
Very poor quality of food preparation, including a very well done rib-eye steak when asked for medium rare, no apologies or offer to make right when this was pointed out. Same thing with the burger, which was so dry it was almost burned. They also forgot my girlfriend’s drink, which can happen, but after pointing it out to 3 different staff you expect at least an apology... I rarely write bad reviews and am always polite and respectful of staff at the many amazing restaurants London has to offer, but in this case I spent a hard-earned £100 on basically nothing. Such a grand setting deserves more respect for the food it serves its diners...
Great ambience, lovely food and not too expensive!
Great food and environment let down by overcrowded tables and miserable staff with no social etiquette or spacial awareness. 2nd experience at this restaurant, I should have learnt from my 1st experience but I thought I’d give it a 2nd chance. I won’t be back.
Very good food, nice ambience, service was a little quirky although quick
The ambience and the buzz in this brasserie was great!!!
Enjoy a lovely evening catching up with friendS over dinner. Service was good. Will be back !
Really good food and great service. Exceeded my expectations.
Fourth visit! Food is great; actually this meal surpassed previous three visits.
Very good professional service.
Enjoyed a fab birthday lunch with a friend which ticked all the boxes!
Food was fine. Some of the service was pretty poor. Steak not cooked to order. Drinks orders forgotten. Wrong wine brought out. Had a plate of chips lobbed over the back of my head. It’s all fur coat and no knickers
My 3rd time visit and enjoyed the whole meal and wine experience. The cocktail bar also looks stunning if you don’t want a sit down meal
Great place and food. Service poor!!
Place was amazing however service very disappointing. Meals can’t up at different times and food not cooked as it should be
Lovely venue but service was slow and waiters not attentive. Food was very average. Worth it to see the DH Pegasus.
Beautiful room with a nice lunch menu. Service is pleasant but novice.
Beautiful place with excellent service. Food was to a very high standard and it's worth a visit for the ambiance.
Better food than you would expect from an in store brasserie. Stunning decor, worth bringing a friend for that alone
I lunched here twice. The food and service were excellent (Black cod and Buratta excellent) but,and its a big but,the glass tables are so very close together that you feel you are dining with the person on the next table. In fact the long layout, when first seen, is akin to Wagamamas !And the blue and yellow colours are garish rather than classy ..We were first seated at a side table. For some reason they are raised from the floor. Why ??My legs dangled, with no support (and I'm 5ft 7ins with good length legs) It was so uncomfortable we asked to be re seated. The double floor height of the ceiling is spectacular,as is the suspended Pegasus, but they don't make up for the discomfort of the rest of the layout. As mentioned,we gave it a second chance, but Im afraid that at £120 for two, there are many more comfortable restaurants in the area in which to dine /lunch.
Best restaurant ever ! They have set a new standard!
The breakfast was better than lunch. It the table is tiny. Not acceptable for three guests. They are trying to hard to narrow your seats to get more guests to come in to make more money. 不敢恭维的服务态度，简直不想给他们服务费。
I was curious as the idea of a very high end restaurant inside a shopping centre and once you get there you don’t feel inside Selfridges. The decoration is sub real the food is amazing and drinks.
This is my first visit , but I’m a bit disappointed about the food. The location and interior design are good. 只是个用来装逼的地方。
It was just ok. Food was fine - very similar to Ivy Brasserie.
