Before orchestra show!
Really good food! Very fresh
The food was delicious but the service was inefficient.
We ate at Brava following the show at the Arsht.
The restaurant was empty.
The choice limited.
The food was good and different.
The price high.
Why was the restaurant empty?
A very positive experience. Cocktails were awesome!
Brad runs the best restaurants in Miami bar none. Brava and Alter atre my favorites for inovative dinning. Try the "BUN" you eill love it.
This on-site fine dining restaurant is so convenient ahead of an Arsht show, and the food and service were excellent. The staff are very attentive and friendly and will keep you on time for your show. We really enjoyed the Alter Egg and the Panna Cotta dessert . I was hoping to reprise the Chowder from a couple years prior, but they keep their menu fresh and it's always innovative, beautiful, and flavorful.
The sevice was outstanding and the food was great. Unique and very good.
Los tortellini al brodo excelentes. Los short ribs wellington bueno aunque la racion es muy grande, tal vez para compartir.
The food was expertly prepared with a flair of creativity. My wife had red drum and I chose lamb shank. Both were an outstanding mixture of palate pleasing tastes. Our server was attentive and made sure we got to our show at the Arsht on time.
Food and atmosphere is always amazing
I didn’t appreciate that 20% tips already added and they have line says Tips not additional tips and below recommend suggestions.
I enjoy BRAVA every time I dine there. The food is always excellent -- with one exception. The short rib Wellington was exceptionally salty and much less enjoyable than it could have been. Everything else was great. Especially the eggplant dish.
We were going to a show at the Arsht Center so we decided to try Brava. It was the perfect choice. Excellent service, great cocktails, and outstanding food. Can’t wait to go back, show or not.
Excellent experience overall, I would highly recommend it before going to a function at the Arsht Center!
i ordered the lamb shank/ossobuco style...lovely plate but arrived cold-ish. i advised wait-staff who whisked my plate away and shortly returned with a completely fresh plate which was delicious. very nicely and appropriately handled. what was outstanding was the dessert....spicy toffee cake...a deconstructed version of the english classic...that caramel sauce was sublime.
i would definitely return despite the chill plate
Hi Dashley, Thank you for the awesome 5 Star review and for allowing us the opportunity to make right our error. I look forward to your return, please ask for me when you return. Sincerely Greg E Stewart
Sophisticated food in a quiet setting. Attentive service. Convenient for the theater.
Too fancy for me
The service was slow even though it was stated that we were attending the Fiddler On The Roof. As a result of the slow service and presentation of the check we missed the beginning of the performance. I am pleased that the restaurant was busy, but, attention to the time should be a matter of importance during the service when you are attending the theatre.
Excellent food. Very original take on some classics. Service was overall good as well.
If it wasn’t the only restaurant in the Arscht, this place would not survive. Wait staff ignores you. Food is good but not special like they try to make it out to be and definitely you are paying for the fact that you are dining at the Arscht.
Amazing. Perfect if going to a show.
The manager David Aguirre took our order and we ordered veal chops, one of which was to be without pesto They bothcame with the sauce and David offered to wipe the pesto off wow how awful. We couldn’t order anything else because we had to make a show. David does not know how to
Treat customers he did nothing to make it right. It was disgraceful I been in the restaurant business and we would do anything to make a customer happy. We ordered correctly and it was the kitchens fault. Horrible how we were treated will never go back and will certainly not recommend
One of the best meals we have ever had. The burrata and veal chop with pesto combination were unbelievable.
Short Rib Wellington was amazing. Great service. Don’t wait for a show night, this is a great place for dinner anytime!
The food is outstanding! The wine list has good values and covers good options. It's a MUST HAVE dinning experience before every show we attend.
We wanted to have a nice dinner before the theater and BRAVA did not disappoint. As an appetizer we had the tomatoes and burrata, and as entree we had the 7 cheeses pasta and the braised ribs. All plates were beautifully presented and with excellent flavors. Everything was absolutely delicious! To close, we had the tiramisu. To our surprise, the presentation is like a deconstructed tiramisu, all the components are served separately in a plate. I tried each one individually and they were delicious. As I started combining the flavors, they explode on your palate and it was absolutely one of the best tiramisu I’ve ever had.
One recommendation, though. Although the service in general was excellent, the serving staff needs more training in explaining the dishes in an enticing way. Other than this, just keep it up. We will be back!
Undercooked pasta even after sending back and getting second one. Apparently the Chef likes it undercooked, but he needs to realize most people don’t. Green spinach dip. Terrible. Foamy green water. Drinks were good and convenient to theater. Our 4th time and it seems to continue to go downhill. They don’t have bread service, but they charge you $8 for a loaf of bread. Would really like to see changes, but it sounds like the Chef wants to do it his way. We will try another place next time we go to the Arsht Center.
We had three of the four deserts..and shared them among the table. Only one was worth the calories. That is sooooooo unacceptable in a fine restaurant. Otherwise the food was fine. Not great, but fine.
And, as always, the bread is a winner!!
we are culturalist members and routinely dine at brava before the broadway series plays
david ,the manager and brittany, our server, could not have been more accommodating.
it is a shame that on this past sunday evening, the place was nearly empty.
i understand that you have a high percentage of no-shows, which is unfortunate.
however, i think your wines are terribly overpriced, and that is why i did not give you a higher rating on value.
i miss the cheesecake!
This was my first time at Brava and it was exceptional. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. Usually we have dinner before going to the Arsht but this time we were able to relax before going into see The School of Rock and not be rushing through traffic. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Good food and service and really tuned into the time and other needs of performance goers
Recommended only because of convenience to concert venue. Not only overpriced, but the bill includes a 20% tip, but also carries printed tip add-on calculations to fool the less vigilant to add 15% or 20% more. The food was good, but not excellent as the price would justify.
Very Expensive, extremely small portion for the price!!! No salad, no bread......, very little food for the price!!!!
A genuine dining experience hidden in the Arsht Opera House. Service is attentive, if not a bit amateurish, the food is extremely well prepared, but the choices are a bit minimal, and not everyone will appreciate the artistry. It will also add up, with drinks, bread (an unnecessary charge at this price point), , and if you can, dessert. But if you are not on a budget, enjoy a genuinely upscale dinner.
We didn't get to eat even though we arrived on time to our 6:15pm reservation as they never brought the food and the concert started at 8:00. We left at 7:45pm without eating.
Terribly overpriced, horrible food. Service was mediocre, too, except for the man who cleared the table. Two waitresses and neither really know very much... We asked if there were any greens in the kitchen as they had removed the iceberg wedge from the menu. Not a single leaf of green in the kitchen, and this is the Spring Season? Appetizer: The duck tart was neither a pate nor a soup. A main plate: Crab cake we have had better. And shared the dessert. Dessert: frozen cheesecake. Could not cut through the cookie that doubled as crust. Whisper of what was supposed to be ice cream. Two glasses of prosecco and one glass of rose. That was all.
We spent $208.xx. Minus tip
We will not be returning.
Dined here Friday night before the ballet on a first date. Overall was a good experience. All of our food was delicious and beautifully presented. The plating is a work of art.
Our service was good (not excellent) as one should have at the prices charged, which include gratuity. The table next to us was a disaster though. They kept bringing them the wrong food. At one point they brought us their bread while we were having coffee. I’m glad we had early reservations as things seem to go worse as the place gets busier.
I really wish the online menu would be updated to reflect what’s actually being served that month at least. Having dined here before, I see the same problem occurring repeatedly. The servers need to be professional and have training to match the caliber of the food and prices. Some of the servers were very scared and uncomfortable. The place looks nice but the lighting is not well balanced and the orchid walls look tired now. I truly hope that these suggestions are taken in the spirit intended which is to better the dining experience for everyone. I love the concept of fine dining onsite at the Arsht. Overall was a beautiful evening and a great first date!
We looked forward to coming to Brava.
But the food we ordered, from the menu, even at 5:30, wasn’t available.
Then, thevwine came HALF HOUR LATER!
The food we did order came so late, after that, that we had to rush thru dinner to get to the 7pm concert at the arsht, and we’re not even able to get dessert and coffee.
Even the lighting in the restaurant was “harsh”!
This chef is so gifted. Why is this such a difficult thing to do right!!??
We came during the opening of the restaurant and found the same problems.
We tried coming again and the same problems exist.
What a pity!
It would be so lovely to have an elegant, special experience at the arsht before a concert....
The waiter was very attentive and friendly the potato ravioli was awesome the Wellington was cooked perfectly . The meals were a bit pricey and I was surprised that the bread was not complementary . Overall I would give it a four out of five
I would love a simple salad added to the menu for a starter option
