Overall, great experience once again. Thanks to everyone at Brave.
This was so special tonight and we appreciate all of the staff for a magical evening!
Fabulous as always! Walleye, Tuna, and pine nut encrusted Salmon were excellent
As always, we loved our experience! Food was great, service awesome! I can’t wait to see y’all again.
There are not enough stars to adequately express how amazing this dining experience was!!
Brave New is absolutely one of my most favorite restaurants. It is consistently awesome. We were celebrating a birthday with 5 people. Everyone ordered different entree’s that were all spectacular!
Great food, service & ambiance!
Great food, great service, every trip to Brave is a unique experience
Too noisy. Decor dated. Food was good and service really good. All in all would not go back.
This is a great place for a special occasion. Service is great and the food is excellent. I've never had a bad meal there.
Good food view of river/downtown.
We had a wonderful time celebrating our ann. We come back Food was great
Amazing menu and great service.
Delicious as always. The walleye is excellent, nice wine selection.
Great as always!!! We were lucky enough to be there when the appetizer special was oysters bienville or oysters Rockefeller. Both were out of this world. Love that Peter Brave still comes around to each table. Great anniversary dinner.
We have never been disappointed when dining at Brave. Once again the food was exceptional! A new offering was fresh oysters offered 3 ways. We chose Rockefeller and they were absolutely the best I have ever eaten! The entrees were stellar as well. Always a pleasure, especially for special occasions.
One of, if not the top dining experience in Little Rock! To start the location is out of the way free from traffic. There is plenty of parking outside, & easy to access the elevator. Reservations are key, & so easy! We were there on a Friday night, the place was packed! It was very pleasant to walk in, & sit down right away. They were even on top of my special request! We enjoyed wine & beer while waiting for our avocado & shrimp appetizer. This app was so fresh, bright, & flavorful! The combo of the shrimp, avocado, grapefruit, & onion is unreal good! My wife accurately described the shrimp as tasting clean. Next we had garden salads that were perfectly timed after our app.
Then, again nicely timed, our main courses arrived. She had the walleye, & I the veal w/ lime butter. These were equally special dishes. The walleye, not only fresh as can be, but cooked perfectly! It was unbelievably delicate. The veal was buttery, comforting, & on the edge of decadent! I cannot put into words how good that flavor was. We capped off our evening sharing chocolate creme brûlée’ & coffee....a perfect ending! This whole experience was perfect. I don’t see how it couldn’t be...when Peter Brave himself visits each table to insure satisfaction. Our only mistake was waiting as long as we did between visits. We’ll be back soon!
Feature steak was only 1/2 inch thick and improperly cut (not perpendicular)
Filet mignon salad served with cold steak. Beef is terrible cold. Also loaded with fruit which is poor combination with beef and missing avocados. Menu misleading .
Great menu, excellent service.
Good food, good service.
Great wine menu, amazing mushroom soup, great ambiance and informative staff! Coffee with the chocolate creme brûlée was a great dessert choice!
Very good experience
The ambiance was perfect, service was perfect; Brussels sprouts with the veal could have been much better, as they were kind of tough and plain.
The zucchini was flavorful and uniquely presented.
No sweet tea? Mix your own? Sugar doesn't dissolve well in cold tea. Hello, we're in the south! :(
Veal with lime was tender and flavorful; the house salad was absolute supreme; the avocado & shrimp appetizer was awesome and well presented.
Husband said his steak was "kind of plain" (aged? seasoned?), the quail and sausage were really good.
The chocolate creme brulee was to die for!
Value was ok for a special occasion - although perfection in ALL food presented, for the price is expected from a higher class restaurant.
We went for Valentine’s Day and it was fantastic. We had the duck breast and the mixed grill and it was delicious. Our server was excellent and we will definitely be back. Great date night.
Outstanding, delicious...exceeded our expectations. If you haven't tried it, you should.
My significant other and I went to dinner for Valentine’s Day. Despite V-Day being among the restaurant’s busiest, we were seated (with our reservations) within a minute of arriving at the restaurant. Our server was delightful and answered any questions we had about the menu. The menu itself was wonderful. Though the restaurant doesn’t offer it’s regular menu selections on Valentine’s Day, there were ample options from which to choose, with each entree accompanied by a lovely salad. I had the roasted vegetable ravioli and house dinner salad, both of which were filling and well-made. My date had the beef tenderloin and Caesar salad, and he had no complaints. We got to the restaurant around 8:45 and ate and talked until about 10:45, but we never felt rushed to leave. Everyone we encountered was kind and personable. Though definitely a more expensive date, it was well worth the money for a special occasion!
Great service! Our waiter was very nice and did well at explaining the menu. The food was good and the art on the walls was very cool!
The food was not what we thought it should be. After dinner. On the way home we picked up taco bell.
Great. My favorite restaurant in Little Rock
Enjoyed a Valentine's Day lunch. Lovely view of the river. Everything we had was delicious and and plated to please the eye. Great service.
Great restaurant with fantastic food, reasonable price and terrific view.
Peter Brave and every person on the wait staff could not have been friendlier. We enjoyed a delightful evening of good food and wine.
The food and the evening were good as always. Our service was excellent. Too little has changed in the years since it opened . Many will see this as commendable, but really it is all a little tired.
One of my favorite restaurants for a special occasion lunch.
Good food at a good value. My wife and I both enjoyed the restaurant very much.
Met good friends for dinner. We all love Brave New. It never fails to please.
Entertained a visiting music artist and friends for lunch. The service was great, the food was amazing (as always), and the ambiance was wonderful. When people ask where to take a guest for lunch or dinner, I always recommend Brave New. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Everything was perfect for our 32nd anniversary. I often forget about Brave New because it's off the beaten path. First-time diners, don't get discouraged that the bathroom isn't convenient, the parking isn't always great and this night, the elevator wasn't working well. It didn't matter. PEOPLE ARE LINED UP TO GET IN THE DOOR. Great location on the Arkansas River. Peter Brave does a great job especially with fish (I had the ahi tuna).
Love Brave New, one of our favorites!
Brave New Restaurant is one of our favorites in the country. The dry scallops are divine, and Peter Brave's Walleye recipe is quite possibly the best fish I've ever eaten. The word "New" in their name is deceiving as they've been there like 26 years or so. We live in Dallas, TX and we have over 4,000 restaurants (most of which are wonderful). And yet, we plan trips around eating at Brave New.
