Came back with a friend from abroad and it was magnificent as before! The food and the drink top notch as always, we had a pick on the open kitchen and it’s definitely something else, one of London best. Also the maitre de turned our dining into an experience.

I came here with my partner, we arrived early for the booking and decided to get a drink at the bar. Bartender and waitress service was fab, as was the food. The female manager/maitre de on the other hand really brought the level of service down. The greeting was pretty hostile and awkward about seating early despite the restaurant being empty. When we did sit, she gave us 1 menu for 2 people which our waitress duly corrected. Overall her attitude seemed to be she was too good to serve us which brought the exemplary service from other staff down. Food was great, we had tamarind chicken wings which were delicious, butter chicken and baked cod, all delicious.

We have dined at this restaurant numerous times over the years but this is the first time for about 5 years as we now live in Dorset. It just gets better and better. Food brilliant, ambiance brilliant, service brilliant. Thank heavens you still serve the curry and sticky toffee pudding. It is worth visiting just for those. I regret that I did not ask the name of our young manager but his attentiveness and humour certainly added to our enjoyment.

The food at Bread Street Kitchen was very good if a bit on the small side. Service was efficient if a little slow at times but we were not in a hurry so that didn't matter. Overall a nice evening with good food.

I just went to the Liverpool branch for dinner the other day! I was so impressed with the environment and the quality of the food! Especially the Beef Wellington, it’s fantastic! So I came back to London and immediately went to share this delicious dish with my family! Unfortunately, I was disappointed this time. Firstly, this famous Beef Wellington tastes completely different to what you get in Liverpool. I wonder if the taste in the south is saltier! Beef only tastes salty! No meaty taste! The mashed potatoes on the side were very salty! Later, the restaurant manager politely changed my carrots for me, but the taste was still salty! Other food can be said to be of average quality! I am very disappointed with this experience! Because this time I only have a week to spend with my family in the UK! I specially brought my family here to eat this Wellington beef tenderloin! This was a wrong choice for me! This is what this experience felt like! It seems like you are a very famous restaurant, so you don’t take quality seriously at all!

Fantastic lunch experience at Bread Street kitchen & bar. In love with the spicy tuna tartare as starter and the beef Wellington as full main. The service was very helpful and friendly, thanks Javier for the food recommendations and especially the wine selection suggested by the Sicilian sommelier Cristian. I would definitely return!!!

I love Gordon Ramsey so I had to go to one of his restaurants when visiting London. However, this was a rough experience. First of all it was SO HOT in the restaurant we were fanning ourselves with the menus and considering leaving because nobody likes eating in hot and humid conditions. We went at 7:15pm and there were only 2 other tables dining. We sat down and ordered water which took 16 minutes for our server to come back and to not have the water. We watched 2 other groups come in and they were served drinks and water before we were. The waitress did not know about the food menu items when asked prior to ordering. We got the cider and onion soup which was pretty sweet with a thick texture and the spinach cannelloni. You couldn’t really taste the cannelloni because it had so much cheese covering the entire thing. I love cheese, but this was so much it took away from the dish. It still tasted good, but this wasn’t a “Gordon Ramsey” restaurant experience I was looking forward to.

We were a group of 8. We had an amazing experience. Stuff kind and professional, we were greeted by Javier who was very attentive to our needs and served by Mabenty who was really kind and had a great knowledge of the menu. The restaurant has a nice ambiance.

So disappointed. Booked the brunch for 6 for a special event. Take note the ‘Experience’ is misleading for bottomless brunch. It’s £25 plus £30. Food arrived at separate times, smashed avo and eggs came minus eggs….so sent back then came back with eggs but sourdough was inedible. Waffles were cold - and we were told they should be ‘warm’, toffee pudding came out as toffee waffles…. Sent back… toffee pudding came cold. All in all a disaster and so disappointing. Gordon Ramsey has his own Kitchen nightmare here! The waiter was charming but the other staff blamed everyone else and apologies felt insincere - we did get money off eventually but our special occasion was ruined. The place was pretty empty - sign of how poor this place is I guess? I never leave bad reviews normally but the 6 of us were very let down by it all.

The service was inconsistent, and the food was mediocre. We ordered the butter curry chicken that wasn’t nearly as good as the one from my local Indian restaurant. Several items we tried to order from the menu were not available. We were charged £5.50 per person for still water. Ridiculous. Definitely do not recommend.

Totally not what I expected from a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. A few good items on the menu but overall way overpriced ordinary fare. I went for the beef Wellington but that was sold out by 9pm. I would not go back.

We visited on the night of Fathers Day. It was quiet when we arrived (645) but got busier as the evening went on. The service was excellent. Friendly and sufficiently attentive. Our server Mabinty very naturally connected with my wife and I and our kids. She looked after us very well. We would come again and recommend to others.

Considering there was hardly anyone in the restaurant, the service was dismal. Drinks arrived and were just being placed on front of one of the kids (including our cocktails), no effort to tell us which cocktail was which of take of around the table to the person whose drink it was. Asked for water, noons brought that over. Mains were mediocre. Dessert was lovely.

It’s a lovely space but the service and food weren’t as good as I’d expect for the price. Haphazard service, forgotten orders and missed off items. E.g my husband had to tell staff strawberries were missing from a dessert when she insisted that dessert didn’t have strawberries even though it was on the menu. She came back with strawberries after checking… one main came out 10 minutes after the others, had to refill wine glasses ourselves and mixed still and sparking water in the same glasses. Just a bit all over the place. Some food was lovely but not enough to justify the general confusion of the staff

Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmare comes to mind. Not sure what was going on, place was empty and everything soooo slow. Over an hour wait for brunch. Food arrived at different times and was pretty average, chicken Caesar arrived sans chicken. Waitress was charming but overall experience was well below standard. Never again.

Great food ruined by donkey service! What can I say besides I’m disappointed. The food was outstanding yet ruined by horrifically slow and a lethargic team. Fifteen minutes passed before anyone came to take our order. When the server arrived she asked if we were ready to order. I had to ask about drinks! She then said ok, drinks first and we proceeding with our order. I knew if we didn’t order at that moment we would wait another 15’. Then ten+ minutes passed and still no drinks. In fact, the bread came before the drinks. I asked to grab them myself at the bar. Only then they came out. BTW, be careful, the bread price is per two rolls, so we got charged for three bread orders for our party of six. So £12 for bread. Sad. Water too. That is £5.50 each so three for six. What used to be free is no more. Nonetheless, I get it and I paid. Just a warning. The food was delicious as expected. Chicken curry. Yum. Burger. Spot on. Lamb, perfect. The best wings I’ve ever tasted. Tamarind seasoning. All so good but like I said, ruined as we had to wait and wait for it all. Dessert was skipped as the server didn’t seem to care. Part of me thinks they are not incentivized because service is included but come on, you make more by pushing more and making us feel welcome to drink some cocktails. Maybe the St. Paul’s location is better. This one, do take away if you can.
