It was fine - food was pretty good but nothing stellar. Ambiance was nice and service was fine. Overall I don't massively recommend this place but it's good with a large group who need a diverse menu.
Took my clients, they loved the food and loved the service. I had a little trouble signing in and getting to the correct table and the clients weren't shown to the table which was odd. However this can happen at lunch in the city when the place is rammed so its forgiven. Also no pork belly which was gutting but the steak was excellent. Will definitely come back.
Great staff and good food, little pricy for the portions but overall good
Great service and good food
Really lovely meal, good choice of options on the menu.
Our waiter was so nice and I'm so annoyed I didn't get his name to commend him personally, but he was Irish and so personable.
He then surprised my partner with a birthday song and dessert which was a really nice touch
Would definitely return and recommend, I saw a few reviews about lack of service before I went which I cannot disagree with more based on the service we received
Menu options are very appealing. Service is exceptional and fast.
Amazing experience Loved the decor and ambiance. The staff couldn't do enough for us, nothing was a problem. The Manager always on hand to make sure that everything was to our liking. The food was on another level, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely return.
A fun and modern setting, it was a great date-night experience and atmosphere. Drinks were delicious, food was appetizing, and dessert was brilliant. We had wonderful service from David, and would come back in a heartbeat!
Booked this restaurant to celebrate our sons 11th birthday. Service was terrible. Had to wait 45mins just for drinks and even then they got the order wrong. Food was average at best. Manage was very apologetic and gave us a discount, unfortunately it had already ruined the evening.
It was great. But the sound was too loudly.
Great food and setting so had a lovely time. Service was attentive and great martinis
Let's start with the negatives first.
The place is gloomy, so we and some other tables used the torch on our phone to read the menu. The music is booming, and you can't hear your peers or the waiters. Sometimes you need to fight for the attention of the waiters. The Wellington experience was a bit of disappointment as there were chewy meat parts. Besides, it was a bit bland (it may be a personal preference).
I reckon the place is overpriced.
The cocktails, starters and desserts were delicious. The waiters, waitresses are kind.
Really poor experience last night, the place was empty but still had to attract staff to table, who were miserable and apathetic. Food was just ok, people sitting with coats on because it was far too cold in there. Will not be returning, maybe Gordon should visit???
Firstly the service was amazing, staff absolutely a credit to the restaurant.
The cocktails were nice,
Both had a roast dinner in a Sunday, mine a vegan nut roast, he had the chicken.
Was a little lacking in variety. A lot of carrots, a massive quarter of cabbage but only 3 roast potatoes.
The roast potatoes were awful, so hard you could barely cut them and had clearly come out of a vat they had been in all day. Quite disappointed when spending £160 on a Sunday roast,
But ambience was great and staff made it do-able
We all thought the food was great; main course was served very promptly but dessert took over 30 mins to arrive. Ambience a little noisier than we would have liked as it impeded conversation. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Attention by staff was very good at the start but at bill time all the staff were very busy. Food was delicious and well priced. Drinks were beautiful but quite pricey, however they were priced similar to local London bars and restaurants so can't really complain.
Our dog was allowed in and was well looked after and the staff were brilliant. Would highly recommend.
Food was fantastic. Unfortunately our drinks were forgotten twice so we had to keep asking for them. The cocktails then arrived with the dinner which wasn’t ideal. The wine list could be a bit more accessible with the vast majority being over £60 a bottle. But the ambiance was great.
Not a bad place for lunch - but service was patchy. At times to much attention (almost rushing to order) and then scarce (coffee and bill). Otherwise, pretty good food and pleasant and airy ambience.
Booked this place very last minute and wasn't sure what to expect!
When you arrive to the restaurant you firstly notice the very chilled out but luxury vibe. Was met at the door by a lovely host Monika who welcomed us with a smile and showed us to our table. Our meal was very good and we opted for the Wellington for mains and it was to die for 🤤 Monika checked back with us throughout the meal and was very tentative. Another Irish waiter approached us whole we were having our meal and it was such a pleasure to talk with him. We didn't manage to get his name though!
Very positive experience, lovely food and absolutely amazing staff.
Thank you Monika and the team
Nice weekend brunch with my son. Very child friendly staff
Excellent as always
Good vibe for a relaxed business meal.
Our waiter was brilliant. Unfortunately they had ran out of the mussels I ordered for a starter but offered an of menu alternative which was good. Overall an enjoyable experience
David was exceptional and the Sommelier was very helpful.
Great service. Fatty steaks. Way too expensive for value. Restaurant loud and empty. Buy a cookbook online and save hundreds of pounds!
Superb service. A great experience. Thank you.
The beef Wellington was so dry on the edges that i had to spit it out, the rest of the food was mediocre but the mash potatoes and tuna tartare was very good. The waitress was very nice but other than that, it was not worth its price.
Really lovely breakfast early on a Tuesday. Delicious food that arrived swiftly. Great atmosphere and booths!
Good food overpriced by continental European standards for the same quality
The place is great and very well located. The place is looking great as well and the service is great. Food is also really good, however, my friend and I simply thought that the music was simply way too loud.....!!!!
It was also very pricey but, value for money was acceptable. If the music hadn't been as loud, it would have been better.
Staff got the drinks order wrong twice for one guest
Food was good and quantities were surprisingly good
Price fairly average for central London. We didn't have steak but might have needed to remortgage our Scottish estate if we had
The food was absolutely amazing. Celebrating my son’s birthday and Our waiter David was just fabulous !This was the perfect meal to the end of a perfect location for my family.
Extremely disappointing food with poor quality ingredients, would not go back
Service was fantastic lovely waitress
And the pork belly was to die for..best crackling ever
Food was disappointing, service was good but they were severely understaffed so the waiting times were excessive. Neither of us ate the roast we ordered, and the starters were underwhelming. £185 for a very below par meal.
Amazing service, food and live entertainment- they even sang happy birthday for us upon request. Highly recommend
I've been here plenty of times and it's always been just perfect. Some people might think it's a good Sat night place for a fancy night out as it's Ramsay, etc.. Forget all that, I think it's a perfect lunch place anytime of the week in particular great for a Sunday or Sat morning lazy brunch. Dinner is also good of course, but personally, I like this place for lunch and brunch.
Very overrated and overpriced restaurant that is evidently living off its reputation alone. The spatchcocked poussin for £22 was a particular rip off: four tiny pieces of meat with no flavour whatsoever. The place seemed cool and trendy (read noisy and corporate).
Comfortable ambiance, Maria from Spain was amazing. Made us feel looked after with great recommendations. Promise to be back for Sunday roast.
