Good meal, nicely cooked, busy restaurant and a good choice of wine. Steak was nicely cooked, probably a bit expensive for what it was, and what didn't come with it.

Restaurant booking online spoiled somewhat by having to phone them to confirm the booking, and when you get through, you hear Gordon Ramsey saying."did you know you can book this online in 60 seconds"....duh!

The worst service ever! Waitress struggled to use the iPad food order pad and her English was so poor we had problems understanding each other.
We waited half hour for my soft drink order and after 45 minutes had to stop a senior member of staff in order to find out what had happened to our food order.
Finally the food came...not overly impressed. I think it had been sitting waiting to be collected by our waitress.
As a result of the delay, we were offered complimentary dessert, but as my daughter’s lunch hour was over by then, she had to dash off.
Again, the waitress struggled to understand our order of coconut ice cream.

I will certainly not be recommending this restaurant to anyone!!!

This was our first trip to London from Northern California and we had a amazing time, including all the dining! We love food - my husband is a chef. And we are big fans of Gordon Ramsay. This was everything we thought and hoped one of his restaurants would be. From the ambiance to the staff - front and back of the house. We highly recommend it! And if you get the beef Wellington, be ready for a generous serving. We were absolutely stuffed but it was amazing.

Underwhelmed. Toast was delivered 5mins after my breakfast and I had to ask for it. Wrong coffee served and staff generally looked very unhappy. There were no smiles. Not a happy camp in bread street.

Gordon needs to give this a little attention I think.

Food was good, however both the Yorkshire pudding and the baked potatoes were a little too hard. The meat was great, which was slightly diminished by the other two items. Service was good, however prior to coming, I was phoned several times by the restaurant to confirm, was told at least once by email that I could only have the table for a limited time, which created a sense of being rushed - which given the relatively low numbers of diners when I did go (Sunday evening) just created a false sense of anxiety, which was unnecessary

We've been several times - occasionally it's outstanding - like 12/10 - and sometimes it's about a 7/10. I wish it were outstanding every time - the meat on this occasion was quite tough, thickly sliced, and quite fatty. Not enough to complain about I guess - but just not quite up to it's usual standard. WE had company so didn't want to cause a fuss.

Overpriced and far too noisy for what is priced as a top end restaurant. Extremely loud music in the restaurant interrupted conversation . Sirloin steaks were very good but really expensive side dishes that were over cooked. No explanation on the cheese plate so had to ask twice what they were. Only 1 bottle of wine of the type chosen which was rather odd. Over £125 per head for a mediocre dinner - would not go again - there are far better places at half that price.

It's sad but every time I go here the service gets worse and worse.

Last time here my friend and I ordered a drink at the bar and 20 minutes later the same bartender came up asking "What will you have?" with no memory of taking our order.

This time the waitress left us alone for ten minutes, then came and took our menus and walked away without taking our order. After ten minutes of not seeing her, I went to find the manager and asked for menus, five minutes later she brought them back, then left them with us without taking our order again even though we were ready. I went and found her again, and she came back and took our order, then walked away before I could ask for the wine list. After yet another search for her I got the manager to bring the wine list so we could order. After that everything was fine.

I don't have any problem with this happening once in awhile, but it's been the same experience last four times I've been here - not sure I can go back for a fifth.

Snooty, which is seriously undeserved. Limited choices and haughty attitude to one of our party who is coliac, and although they have safety eaten breakfast here previously were told today they couldn't even guarantee the olives weren't contaminated! What state must their kitchen be in? Staff just seemed vacant, a bit like the old Dime bar adverts if you remember them

Staff are VERY courteous and friendly so I would definitely come here again !

Food was good, however service not that slick. Lady took order and we asked for a side of spinach which she said wouldn’t be a problem. Then they tried to serve us a dish that we didn’t order which was meant for a different table and when the mains arrived they just served seasonal veg and when we questioned it we were told they don’t have spinach and assumed that as they didn’t have spinach they just served us the mixed vegetables which we didn’t want which is a bit unprofessional as they should have advised straight away that spinach is not an option. We also ordered bread which never arrived even though we asked twice for it and then gave up.
Food otherwise was ok/good but not a great experience!!!

We had a group of 10 friends visit on Sunday for a birthday celebration. The staff could not have been more helpful or attentive from the time we arrived (late due to traffic but we did phone to let them know). Lovely atmosphere especially with the gospel singers, who were excellent, and an added bonus to our day. Bart our waiter along with his colleagues looked after us very well and we will definitely recommend and return. Food was excellent. Plenty of Prosecco! Great music. What more could we have asked for? Thank you!

Had an absolutely lovely Sunday roast and brunch at Bread Street Kitchen. The first thing you'll appreciate about the restaurant is the decor. Everything about it is a fun, rustic and warm ambiance that sets the mood for a great meal. Second, the staff, as you would expect, are nothing short of professional and attentive to all their tables. The food here is outstanding and does not disappoint. Have tried both the sirloin and the chicken Sunday roast and the gravy was so good my husband spooned it up after. The sides are not to be overlooked, especially the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. You should definitely come hungry! Its also extremely kid friendly with not just a 'kids eat free' policy, but also activities every Sunday to keep them entertained (magician, pizza making class etc). This is going to be become one of my regular spots for all occasions!

My kitchen nightmare
My food was incredibly salty and the side order or greens which cost £5 was a pale, limp over cooked small bowl of cabbage, with a sad looking single floret of cauliflower.
The service which cost £17.50, was terrible. As I write, 3 days later we still haven’t received our side dish we asked for twice. Forgotten drinks, forgotten cutlery . What a disappointment from a man who criticises other peoples restaurants on tv. We were offered a glass of fizz to apologise for continually forgetting a side dish, which was then followed by forgetting the desert cutlery!

I wouldn’t recommend and I definitely won’t be going back.

Big noisy eatery. Limited menu and despite advertising a vegan themed menu for Jan I thought the choices were uninspired. The portion for a main was small so I didn't think it was good value. Service a bit ropey. Really a Gordon Ramsey restaurant of any style should be better than this.
