Had to wait more than 40 mins for food to arrive. Burgers were dry. Eggs were almost cold.

Our whole experience was adequate: adequate welcome, adequate table, adequate service, adequate ambiance (quite bad acoustics in the restaurant actually so hard to converse). I was expecting to be impressed and entertained as I have been at all of Mr Ramsay's other establishments but something was lacking. I liked the menu, a mixture of American and European. I had the Caesar salad with chicken as a main and it was good but I am not sure it it was worth £23. My husband opted for the burger, medium rare. It came more medium/well and looked rather lonely on the plate. My daughter had butter chicken and loved it. So for 3 mains, bottled water and carafe of wine, including service the bill was £140 and the food was no better than my local gastro pub. In no way was the food or service "bad" but really at those prices I am expecting something better.

We waited an hour and ten minutes for our table. Staff were not apologetic until the end of the meal which was too little too late.

I come here regularly so a shame to have such a poor experience as usually very good.

I can’t even begin to explain what a wonderful experience we had at Bread Street Kitchen! We were dining with our Autistic son, he loves to eat out which can often be a challenge. When we arrived he was having a bit of a meltdown so my daughter and I went in and they allowed us to choose a table which was most suitable for him. We managed to get him in but he then saw the space ship, cue another meltdown! We got him to the table and the restaurant manager arranged for him to have a little 5 minute sit in the spaceship between bookings. He wanted garlic bread for dinner which is not on the menu so the manager spoke to the chef and he made him a garlic pizza bread, anything my son wanted they bent over backwards to get him! The food was lovely and the staff (all but 1) were so kind and patient which we really do appreciate. The manager then gave me her card and said if we ever want to eat at any Gordon Ramsay restaurant she would personally take care of it for us. These sorts of experiences do not happen often for us, we have eaten at many restaurants, some have been Autism friendly, some not so much but this was by far the best

Bread Street Kitchen was an average experience at best for my friends and I (a group of eight) this Sunday.

Service was very slow, drinks didn’t arrive and inexplicably certain service staff couldn’t take orders for drinks (we had a round of coffees, one bottle of wine and two beers between us)

The food itself was nice but lacking in quantity - this was particularly pronounced by how expensive our meal was, where the cost of drinks (including a small bottle of Diet Coke for £4.50) significantly adds to the bill. I’d be comfortable with this if the rest of the experience felt like a premium one, but unfortunately it didn’t.

Service was extremely poor, as a couple they squeezed us into the smallest space even though the restaurant was empty. We waited ages for service and were told several times the waitress will see us soon. Later we wanted to sit at the bar to finish drinks and were told it was booked even though it was empty? Front of house seem to be completely clueless. Won’t be back.

A very attractive menu which had us excited. However, too much choice on the menu meant decision making took longer than usual. The state's was good and filling. A particular favourite was the chicken wings and the meatballs. For mains, two of the group went for the Rib Eye steak and were disappointed. The meat was flavourless and overly salty. The Bone marrow source was good. The table service was excellent and attentive.

There wasn't a huge selection on the menu (breakfast choice is fabulous but dinner - not so much)

We had a starter between us, 2 ceasar salads with chicken, glass of wine and diet coke with 2 coffees after (well it IS January so overindulgence is over) - however that little lot was £125! Rather shocked me

this restaurant was recommended by a friend who suggested we try the pork belly as main meal - well it was a hit - melt in the mouth and the crackling really crackled! It was very busy but not too loud that you couldn't have a conversation and what a good view of St Pauls.

The food was great, we especially loved the beef wellington and the chocolate fondant 😀

Im hoping to go back again in the future but would love to see some other options for mains. There were some choices that I had seen on the menu previously, such as a pork belly but that had been moved to the Sunday lunch only.

Service was great, very attentive and polite. The ambience was great too and I especially liked the modern electronic music choices as opposed to pop or classical

Inflexible menu (why can’t one person have the Beef Wellington given that it is served sliced?). The rejection of my request means that they’ve lost a potential repeat customer.

Roast potatoes should be fluffy and crispy.

Formulaic cheap Christmas cracker and glass of champagne.

No convivial host or party atmosphere.

Grossly overpriced.

Went for a birthday meal. Service was attentive at the beginning but tapered off. Food was nice, ordered fish and chips and sea bass. Cocktails were good. Was looking forward to the chocolate Wellington for dessert but after we ordered it the waiter came back and said it wasn't available. The chef had one left but wasn't happy to serve it. Would have been helpful to have been told that from the beginning instead of waiting after we had ordered. A bit of a let down

Welcome at reception was cold & member of staff barely spoke. Service was mixed.... served our food before the wine came. One highlight in the service was Eduardo who took over our table and was fantastic! Food was really good as was the house red.
Down sides were definitely the complete lack of a welcome, staff were hoovering when people were dining. Could be amazing but service really needs work.
