Fantastic service and the best food I have ever eaten
Wonderful as always. This is a happy vibrant restaurant with lovely staff serving excellent food. One of my favourites!
Had a great time at Bread Street Kitchen. The service was outstanding and our server was amazing. Quick and attentive. The food was very tasty and cooked amazingly well. I felt the price was a little high, even for London standards. But overall worth visiting.
Excellent service and the food was very nice.
Brilliant service and food would
Highly recommend to
The ambiance was somewhat muted by the tables being socially distanced and diners staying away.. the waiting staff were excellent and soldiered on. The food was acceptable and nicely cooked. I’d come back again.
We had the Beef Wellington which is superb. Highly recommended.
Went for a meal with my boys. Friendly and helpful staff were their to talk about my boys nut allergies. Only downside was that our temperature wasn't taken as we entered and no face masks were worn. But a lovely evening on the whole.
We were really unfortunate and had THE most miserable, unhelpful waitress to start with. Once they changed over the second person was lovely 😊
It was ok, staff polite etc but the wait for food was really long
Date with my wife.
Service was fantastic. The overall ambience was very relaxing. The food was well proportioned. A little over priced.
But all in all I would definitely recommend and plan to visit again.
Very slow had to wait 45 minutes to get a table, even when booking in advance. Staff did offer a free round of drinks on the house, but would prefer booking to not be available if capacity isn’t there.
Our waiter was lovely, but at the start was a bit slow at the start. Food was perfect! Only real complaint, paying £40pp for wine pairing, would’ve liked to know what I was drinking? No smellier explained the wine and the pairing which iv always felt was part of the experience? Otherwise I’d brought the £30 bottle of red. During covid, with less people, you’d think they’d be able to spend time to do so... but other than that! Great experience and my girlfriend had a great birthday meal!
On the whole we had a very nice lunch at Bread Street Kitchen. The only negative was the sea bream came covered in coriander, which my girlfriend hates. They did offer to do the meal again, but on a tight timeframe to get back to the office, we decided against it.
Would visit again, but maybe enquire about possible ingredients not mentioned on the menu!
Considering it was an almost empty restaurant, the service was slow and one of the waitresses was disinterested and unsmiling. We often had to pour our own wine.
My friend and I arrived on time and were seated immediately, with the staff being very friendly and over the top which was great. That’s where the good aspects of the visit ended.
We then waited 15 minutes to be asked our drinks order (we ordered a beer each and some water- the water was never received and was thankfully not on the final bill.
After about 20 minutes, out order was taken.
My friend ordered the burger and I ordered the rib eye with a side of truffle and Parmesan mashed potatoes.
When asked how I liked my steak, I asked blue; was subsequently asked “medium rare?”, to which I responded “rare?”
We also decided to order a snack of salt and pepper squid.
After about 25 minutes, there was no sign of the salt and pepper squid but the mains arrived.
I said to my friend to forget the squid and just wait until we leave.
However, when I tried my steak, it was so poisoned with salt that I couldn’t eat it (plus more medium rare than anything close to rare).
The truffle and Parmesan mash tasted like overly salted creamed potatoes.
When I tried to flag down staff, we were smiled at but ignored, despite waving at them.
When we finally got a waiter, I told him my steak was inedible for salt, with my friend asking about the squid.
The waiter was highly apologetic and promised to correct and informed the squid would arrive with the refried steak.
By this point, my friend finished his burger which he stated was “okay but would have been better from Honest or GBK” and whose chips he stated were over salted.
Thankfully, the squid arrived first which was good (the squid tasted fresh even if the batter could have been more crisp).
When the steak arrived, this better (but closer to medium than rare).
I don’t know whether it was out of hunger or resignation but I did finish the steak but wasn’t satisfied at the end.
To add insult to injury, it then took the staff 20 minutes to acknowledge us to settle the bill.
Plus squid billed as peppers.
Lovely afternoon at Bread Street Kitchen Edwardo provided a very warm welcome. Excellent service from Egle and delicious food . Can’t wait to go back
I really like the restaurant, very nice food, good value and lovely
Atmosphere for saying it wasn’t busy.
The Aircon was either broker (not convinced) or turned off and the guests and Staff were all suffering. Should have left.....
One of my favourite restaurants. Lovely food, a great atmosphere and really lovely staff
Went for weekend brunch and had a lovely time, Eduardo made the experience 10 times better. Excellent value and will definitely come again. Thank you!
Very enjoyable meal with my brother. We hadn’t met since Xmas. I’m of the opinion that there’s always room for improvement hence the rating
We were having Prosecco brunch.the food was lovely, the portions very very big, never had to ask to fill in the glasses.the staff was very friendly.
Would definitely will be coming back.
food nothing to write home about and expensive for what it was. my cod was way too salty.
Great experience as always; excellent service (all the social distance and hygiene measures of course) and delicious food. Glad to be back
Highly recommend the beef wellington experience. Absolutely delicious!
The service was very good, the food was great, not too busy so it wasn’t too noisy in the restaurant, staff was friendly and nice.
Lovely friendly staff, I felt very safe as they cleaned and wiped everything down, a wide walkway helps and the tables had plenty of room between them. The food as always was to a high standard and the special gin cocktail was scrumptious.
It was a very first time since lockdown. They had enough to have social distances and very clean. (of course) Staff was always kind. Food was obviously fabulous. My daughter enjoyed Fish and Chips and chocolate blowney.
It felt just a little bit quieter than usual (less of a buzz) but that’s to be expected in these coronavirus times. Food was excellent, and a good wine recommendation. We’ll be back!
We visited on the day the lockdown was lifted and I was impressed with the creative ways this restaurant avoided physical contact e.g. having online menus instead of physical ones. Not to mention the thorough cleaning of chairs and tables. The food was absolutely delicious, we went for the beef wellington to share and it was cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and attentive. This restaurant is on the pricier side but I think it’s worth the experience, quality of food and service.
Lovely lunch, service was good
Dear Chazell, Thanks for your review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your lunch with us on your last visit. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Management
Starters were good, and came in good time but once cleared we had nearly an hour’s wait for the main courses. The burger and curry were apparently good but the ribeye was tasteless, unseasoned and inedible. Not what I’d expect from a restaurant of this level and most disappointing.
Must say that the supervisor(maybe) Ania did come over to apologise and amended the end bill accordingly.

Great for business lunch. Tasty menu and good wines ...by the carafe too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Mr Ramsay had got this right for this market
Dear Naish, Thanks for your review. We are happy to hear you had a great experience with us and that you enjoyed our food and the service provided by our team. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Management
Frankly slightly disappointed with the experience since definitely was not up the standard of a Gordon Ramsay restaurant.
Service was at first too attentive up until the point of 1st order where then we had to ask for our bottle of wine 4 times (which then also was double counted on our bill. It was also hard to call service for extra water for any point of the stay. Upon arrival of the food, it was placed in a rather rude manner, disturbing the convo with an abrupt, unannounced service. The waiter also placed the dish in front of a wrong person and upon seeing us switch, still did not say anything. Would have given the service only 1 star had we not been served by a different person later on.
We all had a Sunday roast which was nice, the pork belly was particularly well seasoned, moist and crispy. Chicken was however bland, with no colour, crisp or excitement.
Just a amazing restaurant !!!!
Dear Paris66best25, Thanks for your review. We are happy to hear you found our restaurant amazing. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Management
We had a fantastic dinerevening. Food and wine were delicious. Special nicetea cocktail recommended to our daughter by our very dedicated waiter Miquel, who made this evening an unforgetable experience.

We had Sunday roast it was amazing:) and child friendly. A magician came our table so child never bored:)
Dear yukikom, Thanks for your review. We are happy to hear you had a great experience with us on your last visit, and that the magician was a good addiction on your experience. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Management
Visited on a Sat evening in February. Restaurant was busy but not completely full, but had a very lively atmosphere. Overall the food was tremendous - pork belly outstanding (and a lot of it!), cod cooked perfectly, spice of the tuna tartare was just right - so this can't be faulted. The only let-downs were the quality of the service (a number of mistakes, slow drinks, felt too much like a mid-range restaurant for the price of food) and a totally OTT air conditioning system that meant that all the diners around us were putting on coats!
Dear JulesF, Thanks for your review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed our food and atmosphere on your last visit, and we are sorry to hear the service was slow and did not satisfied you. Thanks for your feedback, we take our guests feedback very seriously in order to improve and do better in the future. We hope to welcoming you back again. Kind regards, Management
