My guest was shown to a different table! Fortunately I spotted this straightaway! Otherwise, as time was short, we may have ended up abandoning our rendezvous. Not good!

I was very surprised at the paper napkins. I expected linen.

I was really looking forward to trying BSK but ended up being disappointed. The food was great but it seemed as though they had a lot of new staff, the lady serving our table tried hard but was running all over the place and then there were a number of others who appeared to be stood around trying to avoid doing anything. We had to wait over 40 minutes for our drinks to arrive, they were meant to ‘whet our appetite’ but we had nearly finished eating at this point. Also one of the meals was incorrect, this may have been due to the noise level so the waitress simply didn’t hear correctly or her reluctance to write anything down! Finally when we got the bill there were errors on it, this was quickly resolved and managed very well but didn’t help the experience!
The food was great but I expect much better care and attention at the prices they are charging!

I booked months in advance as I was so excited to try a Gordon Ramsay restaurant.

On arrival there were DJs playing and it was quite loud, so loud that I was struggling to hear my husband and what the staff were asking me. I'm not sure if that's just what happens at the weekend or if it's because it's the run up to Christmas.

The food was absolutely delicious! 5 star, I could eat it every night of the week if I could! It was a bit pricey considering you need to order sides aswell.

We had a bottle of wine and the staff were on hand to help with the selection.

Slow and very poor service. Food wasn’t what we expected. Appetizers were unimpressive with the exception of the wings that were very good! Other than that the Wellington was cold and it tasted like a chicken pâté. The desserts were okay but ultimately it was overpriced and too much food for two people.

Want to return to try other dishes, our neighbor’s turkey leg looked delicious.

We went here for their thanksgiving dinner with a reservation for 4. When we got there they said there were kitchen issues and the dinner would not start until 5:30, which was fine. However, they stated that they were completely booked for the rest of the evening so we were just out of luck and nothing could be done. Seeing as it was thanksgiving we decided to sit at the bar and have a drink while we attempted to find another restaurant serving a thanksgiving dinner that evening and noticed that there were numerous open slots for the thanksgiving meal at Bread Street Kitchen. I booked another reservation for 6 pm and it was accepted and we had our meal. The entire process was very frustrating and the staff seemed to not know what was going on. I was extremely disappointed with the service received as well as their inability to problem solve especially with the “Gordon Ramsey” name.

Nice venue, it was a busy thanksgiving and were supposed to have the table for just 2 hours but beef wellington took 1.5 hrs (says 45 minutes) was also underdone and fatty ?! Starters were good overall very average experience.

Entered on the New Changes (first floor). It was almost like no-one expects people to come in that door...was shown to our table without a fraction of a smile and no offer to take our coats...

Our server was really lovely but it was quite loud and wasn’t so easy to communicate. Asked for 2x BSK espresso martinis and got 2x normal ones. It then took a while for our food order to be taken but we had drinks so it was fine. The server advised us well, in that going for the set menu was significantly better value than ordering items individually, so that was really good. Then got the 2x BSK martinis on the house and some extras. Sommelier knew his stuff, had a lovely red with the beef Wellington.

Desserts took almost 20 minutes to come out and had to ask for the bill twice. Perhaps the were a little understaffed?

Had read prior to coming that noise levels were unusually high. It wasn’t deafening but needs to be taken down a notch. Live DJ is a nice touch but it’s a restaurant / bar, not a club.

The food was decent but for the money, the beef wellington in Bob Bob Ricard is better.

Bill was £230 including service. Had 3 courses and 4 drinks each (2 of us) so not bad value for money.

Worth a revisit as the breakfast menu looks very good!

The service was incredibly poor. The staff was very inexperienced, the table was not cleared for I don’t know how long, we had to tell them that we were finished. They forgot my wine, it came half way through dinner only after I reminded them. When they brought the main courses there was no place to put them on the table because empty and dirty plates were not cleared

Food was bland..nothing interesting..just like an ordinary pub food. I was expecting more interesting food and some spices. Sunday chicken roast had chicken which was bland and seemed like no effort was put in making it. Vegetable were just boiled and bland. Lacked flavour. I'd say just an average quality pub food it was and nothing more.

Of course the food is great- but out of several things at 6:30; seated next (just 2 of us) next to a family party of 8; music so loud has to speak loudly to be heard; clearly trying to move us along for next seating. Though good food and drink (particularly the espresso martini) the dining experience was less than great

Not the quality I expected. Had an early dinner, tried some dishes on the monthly specials menu featuring truffles. The cocktail was fabulous and the truffle tortelloni was heavenly, 5 stars for those! Unfortunately, the rest was just 'meh.' Had the truffle burger, not nearly enough truffle flavor, was a decent burger but not even near the level of the pasta, would give it only 3 stars. Also had the truffle mashed potatoes and they were terrible! They were not mashed but pureed which is a terrible texture, and had no truffle flavor or really any flavor, 1 star for those. Also, the service was very lukewarm, I was serviced by several interchangeable servers who seemed to have very little interest in their jobs, just going through the motions. The exception was a manager who was very enthusiastic and took my drink order when no one else had, but sadly I never saw her again. Went for the Gordon Ramsay name, but I think if he was an anonymous guest, he would have had more negative comments than I did.

Special Truffle Makers Dinner was really good. Nice cocktails made with Makers Mark Whisky/Bourbon and great food, my favourite was the mushroom truffle tortellini starter. Beef Wellington was also very good as usual.

I had been here for lunch multiple times, but this was my first dinner. My only feedback to the restaurant is I found the music during dinner time too loud, the waiters and organisers had to literally shout to make themselves heard.

Overall I keep coming back to Bread Street Kitchen.

Rude staff! Really rude. We spent £200 between two of us and although food was late and staff was very unprofessional, the service charge was added to our final bill!!!
