Excellent given the circumstances. Very attentive and incredibly good service. My only reason for not giving 5 stars all round is the food was lukewarm not piping hot. But an excellent experience nonetheless.

My first ever visit to Bread Street. I have no idea why I have never been. We chose the Beef Wellington Experience. What an experience. It was probably one of the best meals I have ever had.
The staff were absolutely brilliant and gave a real personal touch and had time to talk.
In a terrible year this was an absolute highlight! Thank you Bread Street. We went home very happy.
Lovely - would get rid of the Italian red which is slightly fizzy - don’t think anyone would like that!

First of all I love BSK but this time was a bit disappointing. The food was great but the experience felt rushed. I get it, there’s a 10 pm curfew but we didn’t even get any breadbasket or were asked about dessert. It was our last dinner before lockdown and we were expecting more as they are usually super attentive and super nice and warm.
I'd heard mixed reviews, but gave it a go anyway. Overall, I was pretty underwhelmed, and left feeling 'meh' about the experience, if not slightly resentful as it ended up so expensive.
We all ordered the potted beef to start. Portion size was fab but oh my god, the mustard noted on the menu was actually the whole basis of the potted beef. The mustard was SO overpowering for 3 of 5 of us, we couldn't finish it which was a shame as the beef portion was decent... if we could have tasted the beef. On noting this to one waiter, he just told us 'it's the recipe' and walked off.
The mains. 2 F it's pretty small (400g). One member of our group wanted the whole thing to himself, but that would have been nearly £100. Him & myself decided to give it a go anyway. It was ok. Most of the meat was rare as asked, but was cold inside (understandable I guess?) The mash side was v. small but tasty. We were both left hungry at nearly £50 each.
F&C was reported to be nice and a decent portion by one, average by another.
Pork belly reported to be nice, but small portion.
Desserts were 1 STP and 1 molten chocolate cake. Both were nice to finish the meal but didn't taste homemade/anything special/no presentation.
Wine sadly one really nice guy AFTER we'd paid said we should have told him about the bad starters and he would have sorted it - alas the person we did tell didn't seem to care.
When the bill came we were completely shocked to see there was a 15% service charge! I have eaten in many Michelin star restaurants in London and I've never once been asked to pay 15% service, let alone for 'standard' food. We reluctantly paid it but really, we should have just paid less.
All in all, just very average and now we're so much out of pocket I do feel slightly resentful, and therefore don't think I'll come back.

Lamb cutlets were most gristle, weren’t very nice, and luke warm, so left most of my meal. Burger was average, but not worth the price.
Service was great and we did explain to our server the issue with the lamb, so our 2 drinks were removed from the bill. Staff were friendly and warm.
Starter and dessert were lovely but the main lacked seasoning. Service was great and so was the drinks.
Our waiter was incredible!! I’m sorry I can’t remember his name but we came in Tuesday at 6 and sat by the coat rack. He made the experience!
Bread Street Kitchen is one of my favourite restaurants and as always service , food and welcome was amazing! Raphael the manager is a true asset to the Gordon Ramsay restaurants. Raphael takes the time to make everyone welcomed and relax. Despite the Covid restrictions, the Bread Street team maintain the rules perfectly, but still manage to create a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Honestly can’t wait to go back
The service was excellent and they all adhered to social distancing guidelines.
The food was absolutely gorgeous, tasty and flavoursome however i did find that the tortelloni had more mushroom than it had tortelloni but it was still so delicious. The surf and turf was delicious and the steak was perfect.
The view on our table was not great as i was facing a scaffolding but that was obviously outside of the restaurants remit but it was a shame as i would wanted to have documented the experience as a food blogger and also being my partners birthday.
We went for the beef Wellington experience, the shared starters of crackers and piccalilli, chicken wings and it at tartare were great and the portion was huge, we couldn’t finish it.m as don’t want to spoil our main. The beef Wellington was delicious! The dessert was a mixture of small delights. Great cocktail included too. Overall a lovely evening but quite expensive.
Our dinner at the Bread Street Restaurant was outstanding. Our waitress (Maria - Spanish) was incredibly attentive and made our evening perfect. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you.
Celebrated our friend’s belated birthday. Asked if we could have a little something to celebrate and even if they got the wrong girl (thought the birthday girl was our vegan friend, but wasn’t), the whole meal was special and amazing. The staff were so attentive and the food was really good! Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back.
Bread Street Kitchen s becoming a useful place to grab a meal at lunchtime, that is of a sufficient quality, but not too expenisve, although the bill can mount up quickly with alcohol.
The food and service were both incredible. Special thanks to Egle who looked after us for the evening and was an absolute delight ☺️

Had a great time at Bread Street Kitchen. The service was outstanding and our server was amazing. Quick and attentive. The food was very tasty and cooked amazingly well. I felt the price was a little high, even for London standards. But overall worth visiting.

The ambiance was somewhat muted by the tables being socially distanced and diners staying away.. the waiting staff were excellent and soldiered on. The food was acceptable and nicely cooked. I’d come back again.
We had the Beef Wellington which is superb. Highly recommended.
Went for a meal with my boys. Friendly and helpful staff were their to talk about my boys nut allergies. Only downside was that our temperature wasn't taken as we entered and no face masks were worn. But a lovely evening on the whole.
We were really unfortunate and had THE most miserable, unhelpful waitress to start with. Once they changed over the second person was lovely 😊

Service was fantastic. The overall ambience was very relaxing. The food was well proportioned. A little over priced.
But all in all I would definitely recommend and plan to visit again.
Very slow had to wait 45 minutes to get a table, even when booking in advance. Staff did offer a free round of drinks on the house, but would prefer booking to not be available if capacity isn’t there.
Our waiter was lovely, but at the start was a bit slow at the start. Food was perfect! Only real complaint, paying £40pp for wine pairing, would’ve liked to know what I was drinking? No smellier explained the wine and the pairing which iv always felt was part of the experience? Otherwise I’d brought the £30 bottle of red. During covid, with less people, you’d think they’d be able to spend time to do so... but other than that! Great experience and my girlfriend had a great birthday meal!
On the whole we had a very nice lunch at Bread Street Kitchen. The only negative was the sea bream came covered in coriander, which my girlfriend hates. They did offer to do the meal again, but on a tight timeframe to get back to the office, we decided against it.
Would visit again, but maybe enquire about possible ingredients not mentioned on the menu!
Considering it was an almost empty restaurant, the service was slow and one of the waitresses was disinterested and unsmiling. We often had to pour our own wine.
My friend and I arrived on time and were seated immediately, with the staff being very friendly and over the top which was great. That’s where the good aspects of the visit ended.
We then waited 15 minutes to be asked our drinks order (we ordered a beer each and some water- the water was never received and was thankfully not on the final bill.
After about 20 minutes, out order was taken.
My friend ordered the burger and I ordered the rib eye with a side of truffle and Parmesan mashed potatoes.
When asked how I liked my steak, I asked blue; was subsequently asked “medium rare?”, to which I responded “rare?”
We also decided to order a snack of salt and pepper squid.
After about 25 minutes, there was no sign of the salt and pepper squid but the mains arrived.
I said to my friend to forget the squid and just wait until we leave.
However, when I tried my steak, it was so poisoned with salt that I couldn’t eat it (plus more medium rare than anything close to rare).
The truffle and Parmesan mash tasted like overly salted creamed potatoes.
When I tried to flag down staff, we were smiled at but ignored, despite waving at them.
When we finally got a waiter, I told him my steak was inedible for salt, with my friend asking about the squid.
The waiter was highly apologetic and promised to correct and informed the squid would arrive with the refried steak.
By this point, my friend finished his burger which he stated was “okay but would have been better from Honest or GBK” and whose chips he stated were over salted.
Thankfully, the squid arrived first which was good (the squid tasted fresh even if the batter could have been more crisp).
When the steak arrived, this better (but closer to medium than rare).
I don’t know whether it was out of hunger or resignation but I did finish the steak but wasn’t satisfied at the end.
To add insult to injury, it then took the staff 20 minutes to acknowledge us to settle the bill.
Plus squid billed as peppers.
Lovely afternoon at Bread Street Kitchen Edwardo provided a very warm welcome. Excellent service from Egle and delicious food . Can’t wait to go back

The Aircon was either broker (not convinced) or turned off and the guests and Staff were all suffering. Should have left.....
