Amazing food and service, went for our anniversary and were given a free dessert. The photo booth is a great addition and amazing that you can use it as many times as you want!

Service was slow, after about 30 mins, had the food, the wine but still not the initial cocktails; Beef Wellington is ok but massively overpriced; they charged us beers we didn't t order.

Slightly strange flavours with the pork belly accompaniments and it is quite expensive for what is basically glorified pub food but reliable fare, attentive and charming service so an overall pleasant experience.

Pretty average experience. Food was okay. Came for the beef Wellington, underwhelmed by the taste and presentation. I asked the waitress for a cider, she gave me an IPA. She said that the IPA was the closest thing they had to a cider. I then asked about the cider that was listed on the menu, and she said, oh we have that. She fixed the issue on the bill but there’s a difference between a cider and an IPA. Been to other GR restaurants and this one is our least favorite.

On the whole very good and would definitely return. My only niggle is that if you’re going to post pictures of your jar deserts on Instagram make sure they actually look like they do in the pictures. The actual desert was smaller with nothing really sticking out of the jar in comparison to the picture on Instagram plus there was also large voids within the jar.

For the price, the quality of food was poor. I had the sirloin steak which was tough and chewy, at £36 which is priced the same level as Goodmans but no where near the standard. As mentioned in the other reviews, service quick to take the order but after that it was near to non existence. For £50 per head lunch, go elsewhere. Will not be returning.

Good atmosphere and location but we had 5 staff attend our table within the first 5mins of being seated. Each of which tried to push up sell and cocktails before we had even really got seated and settled.

Average price for a main was £22, which required an additional side dish. The main dishes are very small for the price. This would have been excused if it was ultra fine dining but is not that vibe in this place.

My son is a fan of Tilly Ramsey and we have watched her cooking exciting things on her TV shows. This restaurant is out of my usual price range but I decided to treat us because of the kids eat free ‘Tilly inspired’ children’s menu. When we arrived and looked at the choices, we were really disappointed to see the limited and unimaginative children’s food on offer. As a mum who cooks good food it is very frustrating that most restaurants seem to think children will only eat sausages or chicken and chips and I had hoped better of a Gordon Ramsey Restaurant. I would hope for children’s portions of exciting meals like the fish pie Tilly cooks, not what was on the menu. We decided not to eat there and left hungry!

I found it quite difficult to choose something on the menu. My partners beef was very fatty so wasn’t able to eat it. We didn’t ask for it to be changed but mentioned it at the end and the waitress was very nice about it. My chicken was lovely, quite a lot of gravy on the plate though. The birthday brownie was a nice touch. Will hopefully come again.

The service was atrocious from beginning to end and there was no excuse, since it wasn't overly busy. We waited over 10 mins for a bottle of wine we saw sitting on the bar but the waitress ignored it to serve others. It was my friend's birthday and I made a note in the booking that they were to make a fuss of him. I didn't notice much of that except right at the end, after they had failed to bring the cheese he ordered within 30-40 mins and he cancelled it, they brought a brownie with "Happy Birthday" written on it. Then, when the bill came, they made the decision without consulting any of us that he wouldn't pay so 2 of my friends paid a third of the bill, then when I noticed the amount I had to pay wasn't 25% (although actually I would have covered 50% as my gift to my friend, not expecting the other 2 to cover him), there was of course nothing I could do. My 2 friends who got stuck with more of the bill were from overseas so even a refund would have incurred a transaction charge. It made a hitherto pleasant evening awkward and now of course I am going to have to buy a whole dinner for the 2 people who paid more than their share.... AND for my friend whose birthday it was because really I didn't contribute enough for him.

The food was ok - nothing special. The service was not good - I let the restaurant know that we had a table booked but were 10 minutes early so I met my friends at a table at the bar for a drink. The bar tables were table service but no one came for my drinks order so I had to ask. It got to 15 minutes after our booking time & no one had come to tell us our table was ready so I had to find someone to ask. We just had starter & main course & told the waiter that we wouldn't be having dessert when he bought the menu over. However, from that point we were not served on at all. No one came to see if we wanted more drinks, a coffee etc. Again I had to go & find someone to request coffee. Staff were polite but the service was not up to standard. Mediocre food so would not bother returning

Being an avid fan of Gordon Ramsay, visiting one of his restaurants while traveling to London was a pen absolute must! While it was difficult choosing which location, I'm sure any one would have been fabulous. We were enthusiastically greeted upon arrival and seated immediately. Our waiter was attentive, full of personality and very helpful. The atmosphere was wonderful in that all decor, right down to the hardware found in the restroom, tied in to a central theme. We thoroughly enjoyed all entrees and drinks, but nothing comes even close to the Sticky Toffee Pudding! Something that Gordon has mentioned numerous times on his TV shows, it was a Must Try. OMG, we can to refrain from licking our bowls clean - best all around dessert. Has probably spoiled the possibility of us being happy with this dish anywhere else!
Staff didn’t seem to mind us walking through restaurant to take a variety of photos, including the all too hilarious phone booth downstairs. Of course, I had to buy one of the t-shirts as a souvenir before leaving.
Best way ever to celebrate my birthday! I just wish I known about the unique dining pod in the Street Lounge upon making reservation! Hopefully, I’ll get another opportunity to visit London and some of Gordon's other restaurants. In the meantime, perhaps I'll be lucky enough to visit one closer to home (LA).

I would recommend the Bread Street Kitchen because the food is more or less very good. However on this occasion (I've been many times), the service was awful and it was not full. I ordered another bottle of water that never appeared. After our mains, we were abruptly handed the bill, we wanted coffee/desserts. I would say that this was not my experience in the past but it seems to have changed, sadly. It's by no means reasonably priced, it is expensive so you do expect better service.

The service was quite slow (it took quite some time for our mains - two salads - to arrive) and we had to ask for the bill twice and it still took about 20 mins to get the bill. The menu clearly hasn't changed with the seasons and was quite heavy for a lunch in August, with very few "lighter" options.

£3.50 for a side of tomatoes - which was ONE tomato cut in half and grilled. 8.30am in the morning and no sourdough bread. Filter coffee in a small thermos which was tepid at best. Very under average experience. On the plus side, the ambiance was good and buzzy, nicely laid out. Maybe choose wisely - I obviously didn't!
