Breddos started out as a makeshift taco shack in a car park in Hackney back in 2011. Since then, we’ve gone on to do residencies and pop-ups, Street Feast, a cook book, as well as a cook-off at LA’s Tacolandia festival in 2016, before finding a permanent home for ourselves in Clerkenwell. Our food is influenced by the hundreds of roadside taquerias and restaurants we have encountered on our travels throughout America and Mexico, whilst utilising the best of British produce from passionate producers such as Phillp Warren and Son and Wild Harbour in Cornwall.

Really nice staff, nice tasting food but really small portions. Only got 7/8 tortilla chips with guacamole and the lamb sharing platter was only enough for 1 person. It was a nice bit of lamb but 85% of it was bone so very little actual meat to go around.

Love Breddos Soho. I've been a few times, and the food is always delicious. I'm addicted to their tacos. Their margaritas are fabulous as well!

Nice restaurant, but the food was just a bit bland and lifeless. Many of the tacos felt like they were missing something, and lacked the piquancy and vibrancy you would associate with a taqueria.

However, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant has a fun ambiance that suits dining with friends.

I love it here and most of the staff are very lovely but we were ignored for 15 minutes when we arrived for our booking, then decided to just sit down. It took a long time to get drinks/the bill/to pay, but the food is declicious and arrives quickly.

Great service at the beginning but slowed a little as the evening went on. Cocktails were fantastic and couldn’t fault the quality of the food. Everything was delicious. It was a little pricey considering the portion sizes however I would still return to try the rest of the menu.

Food excellent as was general service. Was charged almost 10 pounds for a starter I did not necessarily ask for. Would have been nice for the server to let me know that chips and salsa had such a cost!

The food was great, with some nice variety on the menu and even though the service was friendly it was painfully slow. I would be happy to go again but will manage my expectations accordingly.

Upbeat, gem of a place, tucked into the heart of soho. Excellent service, nice vibe, food was delicious!

Terrible experience. Slow, inexperienced staff and food was below average and so expensive for a couple of tacos. Also only two red wines on menu - one out of a tap for £30 or a bottle for £95! Not much choice there. Have been wanting to try this place for ages but would never go back. Very disappointing!

Service was a bit slow but the food makes up for it - the tacos are delicious - and a good atmosphere.

Very mixed bag

Food was exceptional - ribs and octopus were particular highlights.

Service was terrible - tried to substitute beer that was ordered with another without telling me as they’d run out. Wine order received after starters and mains.

The front of house needs a real shake up as it’s massively letting down the kitchen which is churning out delicious food.

The food was good but service was slow. We had to be proactive to order and get the cheque. They kindly catered to food allergy requests.

Nice quiet and cosy restaurant in a very central location. Not a large selection on the menu which makes it great for a quick lunch and the food is nice. Very friendly staff.

Food was really nice but unfortunately the meal was very rushed, would be good for a pre-theatre meal but would have been better for us if the food had come out slower

Went on a date with my boyfriend as we'd been raving about how much we wanted to find good tacos in London after visiting Pistola y Corazon Taquiera in Lisbon. Breddos Soho wasn't quite the authentic spicy and adventurous experience but the staff and their friendliness and frozen margaritas more than make up for it. The tacos are a little bit overpriced and could definitely do with spicing up and a few extra chillies thrown in for some authenticity but the stand out dish was definitely the starter of corn chips with fundido, melted cheesy gooey heaven!

Quite rude staff, no smiles when we arrived. Were sat in a table squished between two other couples. Took very long to be acknowledged by waiting staff, they walked past us numerous times. Another couple came in after us and were seen to before us, so we walked out.

I had really high expectations for BT, but was actually pretty disappointed.
The Tuna Tostada was really good. My pork belly taco contained only pig fat (zero meat)- which actually made me feel ill. I probably should have said something.
Every time someone dropped our food or drinks off it was a separate waiter or waitress, so it didn't feel like a very good or seamless experience.
The wait for food or drink or any other additional requests was ages - not really sure what was going there, but they seemed to have enough staff and not many customers... again, probably shouldn't have paid service, but we did.
Lots of restaurants around this area were cranking - this one wasn't. Wont be going back in a hurry. You're best to go to El Pastor or even Wahaca for the prices you pay here.

If you're in London and you are looking for really good tacos then this is the place. We made a booking but ended up arriving very early, we asked to be seated early and they confirmed our table was free and happily sat us down. The service throughout the meal was attentive and friendly, recommendations were met with great suggestions. The food itself although not the cheapest was amazing and full of flavor, easily the best taco's I have eaten in a long while, especially the pork belly Taco.

Portions aren't huge but prices aren't horrendous either. Staff were miserable though and the food all comes out randomly so we ended up with potatoes by themselves at the end.

The food is lovely, especially the lamb shoulder!!

The food was amazing - really tasty, filling and healthy with plenty of zing! And we loved the frozen margaritas - very refreshing and delicious. The staff were really friendly and the place had a nice vibe. My only criticism would be that we were disappointed by the limited dessert menu for lunch, which only included one scoop of ice cream. I was really hoping for something like churros!

Even though we booked a table well in advance, they gave us bar seats. There were three of us and we couldn't face each other which was annoying. A kind waiter then agreed to speak to his manager and see if we could switch for a table of five, which we did, as we were told the condition for doing that was to share that table with 2 other people arriving later that night.
In the middle of our dinner however, we were approached by someone saying we had to leave in 20 minutes as a party of 5 was arriving soon, and "not their fault" chose to sit there and not stay at the bar. Even though we were still eating, they simply brought our bill without us asking and we had to pay and leave.
The food was good, however, too expensive for tacos, portions are ridiculously small and not happy at all with the service.

The food is fantastic- the service less so. Arrived and ended up having to go three rounds with the hostess that yes I had booked a place, etc. It was finally resolved when I saw my dining partner who was already seated. Service through dinner was just shoddy- a few mistakes, timing off, difficult to get their attention, etc. However the food is brilliant so I’d just go, enjoy the food and try to not expect too much from the service.

I had Breddos tacos at a festival and it was delicious, fresh and amazing. I was excited for the opportunity to dine at Breddos in Soho London but unfortunately, it really didn't live up to expectations. The tacos were lacking flavour, it wasn't that fresh and the combinations were too dry. Value wasn't great either, our meal came to £27 per person and I was still hungry by the end. Service was quick and attentive and atmosphere not bad although the tables are pretty packed in. Sadly, I won't be going back.

Would not recommended at all. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a young gentleman who quickly gave off the vibe that we were on a timer and aimed to get us in and out as quickly as possible. Whilst my friends and I were looking over the menu, which was considerably different to the version online, the waiter would come to our table every two minutes asking again if we had made a decision. Rushed, we all decided to choose something different due to the meal apparently offering a tapas styled theme where we would supposedly share each other’s (extremely overpriced) food. After our food had arrived intermittently, meaning we couldn’t enjoy everyone’s food collectively as planned, we were extremely disappointed with the minute portions of the food which felt more like a starter. Upon deciding we would consequently not pay the optional service charge, our waiter became very absent all of a sudden and did not even acknowledge us as we left the restaurant. Terrible experience.

THe tacos are very tasty. But I would not recommend the lamb familia. The flavour was lovely but it was just a huge bone with very little meat and not worth the money at all. Guacamole was tasty also.
