This was our 5th visit to Breddos Tacos, and we keep coming back because the food is great, cocktails are tasty, staff is friendly and helpful, the music is eclectic and always suits the mood, and it’s a great place to hang out, catch up with friends, and have a wonderful dining experience.
Such a fantastic place for the tastiest if Tacos in London!
Really enjoyed it and the staff were great :)
Delicious food, especially loved the fish tacos and corn dip. would not recommend the margaritas though. Watery and not enough tequila for the pricetag.
Amazing! very authentic flavor, I'd probably use portions of 2 tacos instead.
Def try the tostada.
Delicious tacos, great ambience and friendly service!
Two waiters kept interrupting our conversations to ask the same questions. Like whether we wanted to order more food when we had barely touched our plates. When we declined dessert we were served our bill uncalled for before finishing our cocktails along with the comment “whenever you’re ready”.
Behoorlijk luidruchtig hip tentje. Lekkere pittige hapjes.
Horrible. Criminally overpriced and mediocre food. Inattentive service. I didn't like that we were made to sit on bar stools, even though we booked weeks ago. I am never coming back and I will tell people to avoid. I just find it so outrageous that they can charge £20 for a tiny taco, a bowl of sweetcorn and guacamole with four tortilla chips. Who exactly do they think they are??
We went for an early evening meal. The food was great and the service was good.
If you love Mexican, you’ll love Breddos. Amazing, authentic food and sauces. Will be back as soon as possible.
Wouldn't come back in a hurry. Whilst the food was tasty, it was overpriced for the portion sizes. The restaurant is small (not a bad thing) but there were 3-4 waiting staff which wasn't necessary. We had two staff asking us the same questions throughout the evening and the staff were rushing around the room creating a hurried and frantic atmosphere. I'm sure they were just trying to be efficient but unfortunately this spoiled our evening. I hope these issues get resolved over time as we would love to try the food again in the future.
Fresh tortillas with seasonal ingredients
Some must try tacos in there but for pure atmosphere it was well worth it. Can't beat a Frozen Margarita and these did not disappoint.
Myself and my three children had a lovely time with the food and the staff
I will be going back again
'Terrible staff, excellent food'. Simple things were just neglected - like getting us water or any chips after we'd ordered them and asked for them twice (chips are like the easiest thing to bring to the table and ironically there to hold over your patrons while you're taking your time on the other items, which they definitely did). They couldn't get their tables straight and kept bringing us someone else's orders, but then kept forgetting to take ours at all, and to top it off looked at us like we were lying when we said that wasn't our dish as we hadn't even ordered yet!!
It was a Tuesday so I was expecting the usual Taco Tuesday bedlam, and yet the place was adequately but not over filled. Would be terrified to see how they handle a real TT in Cali after this. Tacos are meant to be fast and filling and messy and enjoyable, they shouldn't come with a side of Clerkenwell snobbery.
Now the service was bad, but also, and this comes from a SoCalifornian who has spent many a day in Mexico's flavorful states (top to bottom). Some elements of Mexican fare were overlooked as well. Street tacos are messy and small but packed with meats and sauces. You almost always double stack your shells, Otherwise, they break and it's a mess. Also, for the price you're paying here for street food essentially, let's not scrimp on one shell vs. two. Come on, guys.
This place could be really cool if they got their service act together. Now, look I'm American but I don't have American sensibilities of over-the-top service. Just don't ignore me, or look at me like I"m stupid when you messed up on serving, and get me the damn chips on time.
That said, the Bloody Maria was on point and I would gladly hit that again. Just like home.
Great cocktails and friendly service. Would reccomend this place.
First class tacos which is the most important thing but the wine list seems out of kilter with the menu and the venue. £30- for house white (served on draft into an unlabelled bottle) is no bargain (but a pleasant enough drop) and with the list heading up swiftly from there towards £90- one is left with the impression of liberties being taken (it is after all a taco joint). A shame because in every other regard this is a cracking place food is super fresh, creative and beautifully presented and the service varied from perfectly adequate if a smidge 'too cool for school' (one server) to genuinely charming and going the extra mile (another).
I'll go back (repeatedly) but I'll probably have a beer or a cocktail next time (thankfully both lists were short, impressive and sensibly priced).
This was my second time and the food is still great. But that's where the good stuff ends. Terrible service from a waiter who didn't explain anything even when asked, couldn't advise on ingredients in the dishes and plonked the bill down on the table without asking. No smiley service just a surly waiter who clearly didn't want to be there. Within 5 mins of arriving we were still waiting for one guest, we said we'd wait to order. We were then asked four times for our orders within a further five minutes.
Terrible service, which is a real shame because the food is fantastic.
Unfriendly service from the waiter, food average and generally overpriced. We left hungry and pretty unsatisfied.
Food is great but this occasion service was patchy. Unusual as normally great.
Service is appalling!
So much noise we couldn’t hear each other on our table.
They messed up with my reservation (the table was allocated to someone else) but thankfully that meant I was given a seat at the counter. The place is small and noisy; you definitely do not want to go for a quiet dinner or a date but it could be good for a small group of friends. The food was decent althought I was not particularly impressed with the flavors. E.g. the fried fish in the taco had a strong fried flavour (maybe the oil wasn't super fresh). Service was nice and friendly
Loved my visit to Breddos, for my boyfriends birthday. The vibe was so good loud and fun, very casual and buzzy environment that I couldn't fault. The drinks were great and the service was amazing. The food was so tasty however, very small portions - One taco per dish - I wouldn't recommend if you are very hungry people (like us) we then ended up getting a kebab on the way home even tho we had 5 dishes each, also not the best veggie options. However, VERY enjoyable and definitely would go back.
YUM! Great staff. Great Food. Great Margaritas. Best Mexican in London!
Worth a visit. Tasty food, good beer, friendly service :)
Loved the food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Quite expensive - £4.50 for one taco is pretty steep, regardless of how good the taco is (and they were very good). The restaurant is small but comfortable, nice lighting and pleasant all round. We had a good night.
This place is very casual but the food is fantastic, authentic, unusual and so tasty. The taquila cocktails are great and the service was friendly and fast.
We would like to try the other branch.
Very friendly staff. Small and casual for a Saturday night. Nice lighting . Good music
Awesome little place with really unique tacos and great flavour. Service was excellent we didn’t have to wait for anything all night. Definitely work checking out
Rude staff. Ok food. Nothing special. Avoid it if you don't like hostile atmospheres.
Tasty food - lively atmosphere, good music, yet you can hear eachother talking. I’d definitely go back
Definitely in my Top 3 taco spots in London. Fantastic for lunch with friends in a buzzy atmosphere, decent drinks too for afterwork sessions or a laid-back date. Good variety of dishes (it is fusion and lots of mixed influences rather than anything 'authentic' or specific). There are burritos on the menus too, and lots of side nibbles, but you really should go for the tacos (all of them, if you eat fish, meat and like veggie options too).
Really nice place, perfect for a date night. The food was very tasty, the fish taco was the best. I would definitely go again!!
Great food, good drinks and fun music. The cocktails and tequilas are excellent and the Sweet Potato tacos are unmissable, but it is quite loud so maybe better for a friends meetup than a date
Excellent food and ambience as always. Who doesn't like amazingly prepared and flavoured tacos?!
One of the best Mexican restaurants in London! Great drinks, wonderful atmosphere, and the food was delicious.
Breddos was amazing! The tuna tartare taco and the carne aside taco left my mouth watering. Everything that we ordered came out from the kitchen simply delicious.
Only critique was that the quesadilla was quite small, yet more expensive than a taco and a little soggy. The flavor combo was fab tho!!
The food was small portions but delicious and different. Being full of young people, the restaurant was vibrant, but the very loud music meant conversation was tricky. The service was friendly but disappointingly unattentive, and yet they automatically add 12.5 % service onto the bill. In retrospect, perhaps I should have declined to pay it, but that would have felt awkward.
Very tasty modern Mexican food with lots of GF options. The margaritas are pretty tasty too.
Soho branch had much better food. I found it a bit odd. This place was too bright so the atmosphere was not helping either. Rather pricy for what it is
