Breddos Tacos Clerkenwell
Nice food, nice atmosphere and good service. Portions are small which enables you to sample lots of different tacos but means the wallet takes a bit of a hit if you've got a healthy appetite.
Fantastic authentic Mexican inspired food with a twist as only Breddos knows how. Great prices for the quality of the food, with the exception of the cocktails which are slightly overpriced for what you get. Overall a great place to go and have a fun evening!!

The food was amazing and the service was great - the staff were really nice about our surprise birthday dinner! Thanks.
Great food, very relaxed and friendly
Breddos is a great place for a quick bite as well as a more extensive meal. The food is really delicious and different from a lot of Mexican places around London. Some dishes are more traditionally Mexican, other more adventurous.
Fantastic food and atmosphere - service could have been friendlier.
Loved the food, energy and service, wish there were more 'proper' tables as sitting at the bar wasn't the comfiest but otherwise fab
Chilled and fun place perfect for a casual dinner and catch up with friends. Food was great and reasonably priced. I will recommend you must order the tuna tostada, sweet potato tacos and fish tacos!
Being from the Southwest US, We were in the mood for some tasty tacos and we found them at Beddo’s. We ordered chips and salsa and were concerned at the small size of fried corn tortillas and tiny bowls of house made salsa, but both the salsa and the tacos, though they small, were loaded with tasty ingredients and proved to be filling. I recommend the fish tacos. carne Assad’s tacos, and meat quesadilla. (Vegetarian version available) I found a beer on tap that tasted Corona-like as soon as I squeezed and dropped a lime wedge into the glass.
The best tacos in London! My only criticism was that the tie between tacos (the dishes come out when they're ready) was a bit long, so one of us was eating while the other one watched... but it's delicious so we let you off!!
We walked to Breddos having been to the Barbican cinema. On a Saturday night the area was quiet and the restaurant is a good find if you don't want to face the madness of Old Street. The staff were super-charming and helpful and the space is relaxed and attractively done out with a big communal table and bar-style seating. The tacos are a riot of flavours with plenty of interesting seasonings, like the peanut mole, which take them beyond the ordinary. The baja fish tacos were our favourite and melt-in-the-mouth lovely. It's not cheap – £6 for 5 admittedly nice homemade tortilla chips and guac is a bit steep – so it's food for savouring rather than for wolfing down.
After several lunch visits, decided to introduce my better half to BT and for us both to try out the Dinner Menu... we were certainly not disappointed , amongst many of the dishes that we tried, would probably have to place the sashimi Tuna Tostada at the very top of the pile... Esquites Con Mesa Y Nduja continue to be a firm favourite 🎶 I was pleasantly surprised by the Coctel De Cafe - Didn’t imagine that I would enjoy an Agave Inspired ‘Espresso Martinez’ As much as I did, handcrafted in front of you and as pokey as you would like... 🙃 Muy Bien y hasta prossima ☝️
Excellent! I'm a regular and every single time I have an amazing evening at Breddos.
Always great there. Probably my 5/6 time.
Overall a nice experience. Food was tasty. Found it difficult at times to attract the attention of staff as the restaurant was busy and there appeared to be a lot of take away’s going out the door too. The staff were pleasant on my dealings with them. A nice quick meal but wouldn’t rush to go back. Prefer DF Mexico for tacos.
I love Breddos! Best taco place in London. The staff really make it but the cocktails and food are awesome too.
The quality of their tortillas was terrible - soggy, tasteless, stale - just like old cardboard. Some of the food was so salty it was completely inedible, but when we raised this with waitstaff, they shrugged and said that the chef just maybe sprinkled a bit too much on. I had to spit it out because it was THAT salty. Toppings were low quality, apart from the fried chicken. Extremely disappointed, overall.
Good service, lovely food, great atmosphere and decent portion size/price ratio. We didn’t leave hungry.
Delicious fresh tacos, bursting with flavour and ideal size portions.
Great for sharing/trying lots of different ones.
Great cocktails too and not too expensive.
My first experience here an loved it! Great menu as you can try a few things. I ordered the Tuna tostada which was my favourite, then the lamb shoulder taco which was so tasty, then the fish taco which was really fresh, and finished my the pork taco which was a real disappointment, very bland and dry.... should’ve gone for the steak taco instead. We also ordered some tortillas with guacamole, which were really tasty, but you only get about 5/6 tortilla chips and for £6 I would like a few more. Overall a really great experience and would definitely return.
Loved this place. Great vibe, food and drinks
Great place. Delicious guacamole with warm chips. Attentive service. Good music.
The food was absolutely phenomenal and the service was great
Fun. Vibrant. Authentic. A great spot for a causal date or a girls’ night. Would recommend any(all) of the tacos-they are fresh and flavorful.
Excellent, will definitely be back.
We had a good time and the food was qute good but we had to work really hard to hear each other! I would imagine it would be quieter at lunch time ...
Delicious food. Service was way too quick. The waiter took our plates away wile we still had our mouths full and brought new plates every 2 seconds. Perfect for a fast dinner but not for a date.
Great food, even better service! Would definitely recommend!
Last year I went to Mexico so I was really looking forward to eating at Breddos. Compared to Mexican tacos Breddos ones were a lot more expensive and "gourmet", but really good. My favorites were the one with the egg and the one with the pork. I wouldn't recommend the one with al pastor beef because the tortilla was really soggy and broke in the middle, and the taste was not that special. Best 2 things: the tostada with avocado and raw tuna and the guacamole, that was probably the best of my life.
Excellent little spot. Food was top notch, service was great. Drinks were expensive for the sizes offered.
Love Breddos Tacos in Clerkenwell. Food is always great and the staff are super-friendly and welcoming. Had a fabulous meal.
Good tacos. Order of preference is the steak, fish, chicken and then pork. Good margaritas.
Staff were extremely friendly and attentive, in a very busy environment. I requested they play the a-side of 'off the wall' and they obliged. Allowed us to order, eat and drink a our own pace, we never felt rushed. The food was great, the mix of salsas were outstanding and the fish tacos were incredible. Will be returning!
Not great value for money - Taco Queen in Peckham is richer in flavour and better value for money.
Met a friend here for dinner and had a great time! The food was spot on and the drinks were far too easy to keep drinking. We will definitely be back!
Compared to other Mexican places the menu is not that great and food wasn’t all that either
This was our 5th visit to Breddos Tacos, and we keep coming back because the food is great, cocktails are tasty, staff is friendly and helpful, the music is eclectic and always suits the mood, and it’s a great place to hang out, catch up with friends, and have a wonderful dining experience.
Such a fantastic place for the tastiest if Tacos in London!
Really enjoyed it and the staff were great :)
Delicious food, especially loved the fish tacos and corn dip. would not recommend the margaritas though. Watery and not enough tequila for the pricetag.
