Breddos Tacos Soho
Great food and great service - will definitely go back!
Food was good but inconsistent. Drinks were dissapointing
Great cocktails downstairs. Serious, inventive Mexican food - not like the chains. The carne asada taco was particularly good - great steak; also the tuna tostada, nice, original. Noise levels high and acoustics not great. But a fun place with friendly, committed, enthusiastic staff.
Delicious food and great cocktails 🍸
They were burning incense in the stairwell which was a bit overpowering
Very friendly service, I’d definitely go back!
Food was delicious but service was rushed and you felt pressured to eat super quick. We had the table for 1 hour 30 mins but were giving the food and bill and cleared the table in 40 minutes
Service was slow however the food was delicious. If they had 1 more staff member working it would be beneficial to a better experience
Good service. Great margaritas! I changed my booking time and number of people about four times and still turned up with more people than planned and we were accommodated with no issue!
Thanks very much to Teodora and the team who made us feel most welcome and helped us have a memorable birthday dinner on Friday evening. She really went above and beyond and we will definitely be back and recommend to our friends. Thanks again!
Caught the happy hour deals and were not disappointed! Will definitely come back.
Poor food, high prices and service that made us feel unwelcome. The frozen margarita however was superb
Good tacos, good service and good margaritas. What more could you want.
Breddos is an excellent spot, I would recommend to my own mother.
Food and ambience are gooooood
Staff were really nice
Messy and noisy, didn't have availability for what I wanted. Went to Dishoom instead.
Our first waiter was very unfriendly and we were immediately made to feel unwelcome and as though we had done something wrong. Then they were having some issues with there printer and a burrito that had been ordered specifically to be vegan came out with feta cheese in. All the food came out at completely different times and it was not even particularly busy so we were all eating at different times. They replaced the burrito and took it off the bill at the end. But all in all not a great experience. The frozen margaritas were delicious!
Really banging food and slushie margs. The esquites are out of control.
Love the food, great veggie and gluten free options, great prices.
Food was relatively tasty, but it was so expensive for what you got, also we were so rushed. If you are paying £50 per person for a couple of tacos you at least don’t want to be rushed.
Amazing food! Best Tacos in London for sure. One negative comment: the chairs are super low and annoying to sit on
While the vibe was young and fun at Breddos, the food did not stack up to expectations. Certain dishes, like the lamb arabes and the guacamole, were great. Then other basics, like the fish tacos, were not great at all. Over-battered, very little taste, and the home-made tortillas (Even though they were perfect) were far too thick for the taste of the food. Ingredients did taste fresh and pure, but overall didn't blow me away. Crowded restaurant that looked like it was begging for millennial instagram attention. But unfortunately the tacos didn't make the cut.
The place is quite small and crowded but it creates the unique atmosphere. The lamb tacos are a definite dish to order - best thing on the menu!
Staff we're amazing, food was delicious and quick. The only thing was the margarita's weren't ready for about 15mins on arrival which is specifically what we came for with the bottomless tacos and margaritas, but they made up for it with great service and a cheeky extra drink at the end. Definitely recommend.
My girlfriends and I loved the Bottomless Brunch! We just did the bottomless tacos - not bottomless drinks (this time). We've been to Breddos Tacos Soho a few times before, so when we saw they were having a Bottomless Brunch we jumped at it. The Baja Fish and Masa Fried Chicken Tacos are absolutely delicious. We can't wait to go back again! Thanks!
The service was quite slow. So slow that they took some of our very slow tacos from the bill (which was much appreciated). However, due to the lengthy wait the staff kept taking out plates and didn't bring new plates even after we repeatedly asked. Ran out of napkins too.
The food was tasty and good quality, however slightly disappointing in it's lack of authenticity which i think is mostly a problem of expectation. Especially the queso did not live up, being just a bowl of melted cheddar and nothing like real queso.
All in all I will not go back. It was supposed to be a nice date night, but we both just ended up somewhat disappointed and quite annoyed. Also, the long waits quite increased the number of drinks consumed and therefor the overall balance.
We had such a great meal here and the waiting staff were incredibly accommodating for the dietary requirements we had. However we had to chase down an appetiser and a servings of tacos which had been missed in the 90 minutes we were allowed at the table. Unfortunately it really felt like we were hurried out of there and not given much time to leisurely enjoy our evening.
We wanted to love this place but found it really disappointing! We ordered chips and dip to start which were ok. Our rice which we ordered as a side then arrived without our main. The rice was delicious but why not bring at the same time as our mains? We ordered the steak platter to share (between 2 of us) and it didn’t feel like enough food; two tiny tacos each. We ordered more tacos but by the time they arrived the food was cold. As we were finishing our main another chips and guacamole arrived to which the waitress then said oh you’ve had it already! Service was all over place.
Won’t be disappoint, but at same time, not blown away
Food sucked and was badly cooked!
Loved the service and the location more than anything! Such friendly waiters and a very cozy, intimate place! Food was great and very interesting!
All pretty good. Not clear why we were told you could get a 125 ml carafe of wine or 500 ml but not 250 mls. We opted for 500 (natch) but then 2 x 250 ml carafes arrived. Either we were misinformed or it was slightly gouging.
Fantastic service and great decor but I have to say I felt mixed feelings about the food. Gaucamole was delicious and moreish as were the sweet potato tacos. However I found £8.50 to be over-priced for two small tacos especially as Wahaca serves 3 equally tasty ones for under a fiver. The black bean tacos were fiery but last depth of flavour and just a bit non-descript. Really enjoyed the beetroot tostada but again feel this is over-priced. There is only one white wine at £30 and didn't go well with the food. Good wine list and more value for money might draw me back but Wahaca wins on more levels.
I didn't think the food lived up to expectations. The chicken and fish tacos were disappointing, with very little taste and too big for the very small tacos. The lamb tacos were delightful but it wasn't enough to improve the overall experience.
Sadly not as good as my first visit there.
Tacos were great, the beers are quite overpriced though considering they are bottles.
Service was very very slow. Food was nice but very overpriced.
It was good. Food was good. Service was good. I'm not sure why but it was just good.
We were very excited to come here as had been recommended. We were told to choose where to sit and weren’t even offered water or a drink within 15 mins of sitting down- we had to ask to order. Then the waiter got order wrong, kindly took some off the bill but food was disappointing. Will come again just for the tacos but to wait half an hour for quick food was a little slow.
Delicious and inventive twists on classic recipes. I especially loved the corn with haberno mayo and nduja. Super friendly staff who make you feel very welcome, you can tell they’re rightly passionate about Mexican cuisine too
Great quick delicious lunch :-)
Delicious food as always. The tuna is outstanding!!!
