This opened up in our neighborhood recently, and we have been excited to try them. The menu was VERY limited due to the impending storm/ hurricane and they were closing early. My vegetarian friends had virtually NO choices as all of the "sides" that sounded delicious and were all veggi based were not available. A bit of a downer. But, my husband's beef was delish, as was my burger. There were not desserts available, either. Service was relaxed and it took forever for our table to be cleared and there were only one or two other tables the entire night.
We will try again when full menu is available.
Excellent gastro food menu and amazing craft cocktails. The owner and staff are awesome. Try the breakfast charcuterie board!
An exciting new restaurant in Abacoa, exactly what the community is lacking. Amazing cocktails, great atmosphere, a very relaxed yet upscale and creative wide range of food options. Highly suggest for a fun dinner with friends or a date night. Looking forward to seeing what's to come with its futures once things get back to normal in the world.
Food was authentic and ambiance was great! Chef really makes you feel welcome.
Great menu, really good recommendations from Chef Daniel who was making the rounds talking to everyone and welcoming us in.
Fantastic wine list, especially if you like French Rhone region.
And really friendly and accomodating team working the floor.
We will be back often.
Absolutely fantastic! We went on the second day they were open in this location and you’d think they’d been there for years! Had a few small plates and cocktails, and will be back for dinner soon. This will be part of our regular rotation for sure. Great job guys!
A great find! The food and service were excellent. We will be back.
We were 8, food came out as done but not everything came out correctly. We were told there were only 2 fryers, which was ok, but nobody could explain why 2 identical hamburger orders were not done at the same time; we thought you throw 2 hamburgers on the grill at the same time. Everyone kept passing the buck, not working on getting everything right. The last hamburger came out after everyone was done.
You can tell the owners care about the food, even though it is a good bar. Servers need a little trading serving the absolutely good, creative, fun food. I will recommend, as well as try again.
Found through open table search. Out of the way location but worth the trip. Small, out of the way gem. Would definitely recommend.
It was our first visit and we had a wonderful meal. We shared little plates - Scottish egg, cheese and port fondue and scallop risotto dish. They were all delicious.
Fantastic dinner! We didn't realize we visited on trivia night, so it was a bit louder than expected as we tried to chat - but the food, drinks and service were fantastic!
Very good food, but restaurant was empty!!! Very strange experience
Every dish we tasted was excellent! Starting with the shishito peppers, scotch eggs and ending with the pork cheeks and fried chicken! Keep up the great work and excellence.
We reserved for a party of six to have dinner. I had read the food reviews and saw that the hamburger was highly rated. Actually, it was very disappointing Duffy’s offers a tastier and larger patty for half the price. I actually thought the goat cheese would be more substantial. The fish and chips was average but the breading was too heavy. Scallops were great and the chicken dumplings were very good. But the burger was really bad.
LOUD! We had been here before, but it was with a group. We did not like it then, but we thought we would give it another shot. Bad idea. The place is so noisy that it is impossible for us to enjoy a meal. It is a shame because it is in a great location near the Kelsey theater and would be a fun place to go before or after a show. However, thee is no way that we can tolerate the noise level.
Fabulous food! We have been in the area for a week, if we had eaten here earlier, we may not have eaten anywhere else!
The atmosphere and the service were wonderful. The wine and beer lists had some very good selections at good prices. The food was very good. We’ll be back.
Ordered the scallops and risotto the dish was Luke warm there were suppose to be 3 scallop I had 2 1/2 my husband order chimchurri flank steak and it was cold along with the chimichuri nothing worth noting as for the price and quantity was not comparable
I enjoyed my experience at Brick and Barrel! We had good food and the service was OUTSTANDING! We sat at the bar!
If you are looking for a neighborhood pub with honest food at an honest price, you can't go wrong here. Friendly staff.
It's like a local pub, we had the Flavor Palm Beach menu. I started with a Scotch egg, then had the wiener schnitzel following by a brownie. Food was good, they have a nice bar area.
Food was excellent! Loved the live music! We will be back again!
We went to this restaurant because it was on the Flavors of Palm Beach list. They have a very extensive liquor selection, and many specialty drinks. It seemed to be a neighborhood place. People with their kids, people coming in before the movies, dating people. Very casual, but a little loud for our taste. The food was VERY good. Seemed like everyone around us got a hamburger-so I think I would order that next timid. Small selection for dessert, but I had a dessert cocktail! We would come back if we were in the area.
I wanted to love it but the food was just not that great. The one delicious standout was the pork belly appetizer. The scotch egg (their specialty) was dry and not good. The shrimp skewers were served on what I can only describe as a giant tree branch that I had to hack the shrimp to pieces to remove. The fried chicken was moist and tender but the breading was overwhelming and took away from the dish.
Great atmosphere, great service. Loved the salmon! Will definitely be back soon!
Our server was probably the best part of the meal for the four of us. Three ordered crab cake as and appetizer and was disappointed with the 1/2 teaspoon of sauce with them, I ordered the scotch egg and was pleasantly surprised. Three ordered the veal schnitzel and were disappointed at the thick crust and over cooked veal with very small amount of vegetables. I ordered the pork osso buco and it was also over cooked and dry. The collard greens were tasty but vastly over salted. Desserts were disappointed substitutions as the state ones on the menu were not available. Probably the worst meal in the four years of doing Flavors of Palm Beach
Second time here and had a great time on both occasions. The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday night in August so that tells me they are doing something right. Food and service was great and the Chef came out to say hello (nice touch). Will be back again soon and highly recommend the scotch egg (yummm).
3rd time here and the food is excellent! Had the fried chicken with collards and corn casserole. I nearly liked my plate. Lol. The collards were literally some of the best I've ever had...and I'm from the south.
This was the second time we have been to this restaurant. They have items that you don't see on other menus which is nice. Also, I am vegan and they have a couple of options for me. The vegan caesar was wonderful and I asked them to add a Beyond Burger to it which they did. Loved is and can't wait to go back to get it again.
Food was delicious. I had Impossible Burger and fries and my husband has the pork belly taco. Good wines . Look forward to returning.
I will be back soon!! Great food and friendly staff. FUN environment too!
We love the atmosphere, drink choices and the interesting menu!! We will be back!
The food was good and the service as well as the cocktails were fantastic. We went with a party of 9 and there were no issues getting everyone’s food out at the same time. We will definitely be going back - and soon.
The menu was different. The place seems very casual and yet the food is unusual and the presentation is that of a fancy restaurant. Great place. Sat outside with our dog. Will definitely be going back!
We waited almost an hour to get our food, with the waitress coming by once to refill drinks. Once our food was ready, it sat under the heat lamp for a good 15 minutes until we had to say something about getting it. Service was very poor. Food was decent but several items on the menu "where not available".
What an undiscovered gem in this area. Food was excellent and very favorably priced. We’ll definitely go back!
Very slow restaurant
Did not enjoy the service or food
We went on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was empty. I was surprised after reading the reviews. The food was fine and the service was very good. It was a pleasant experience.
We went on a quiet Thursday night, when there was a party of two at the bar, a table of two, and a table of five or six.
We ordered a flatbread, salmon, and fish and chips. They were all delicious! Flat bread had just the right crunch, with lots of mushrooms and flavor. Pretzel crusted on salmon was thin and delicious. Fish and chips was also Very good. Smaller pieces of fish allowed for more of the tasty, light batter. Fries might’ve been crispier. Not too noisy at all, but I imagine it would be with a full room. Well the reason service didn’t get five stars was kitchen was kind of slow.
Food was worth the wait!
Oh yeah… happy hour including $5 well drinks can’t be beat! We will go back.
