Inspired by the army mess bars of India, where military regiments go to eat, drink and socialise, Brigadiers accommodates 140 covers internally with a further 34 on an outdoor terrace. Encouraging socialising and camaraderie, live sport is shown on demand in selected rooms, whilst pool and classic card games are offered for those who wish to play while they eat and drink.
The food offering focuses on different methods of Indian barbecue, utilising tandoors, charcoal grills, rotisseries, wood ovens and classic Indian smokers. The drinks offering marries together the food and social spirit of the restaurant with beer, whisky, cocktails on tap and large serves. Designed by Brady Williams Studio, Brigadiers references Indian art deco design, conveying the opulence and familiarity reflective of quintessential Indian Club Culture. Brigadiers feature a collection of rooms, each with its own identity, experience and atmosphere – all perfect for relaxed, informal and playful socialising.

Good food, lively vibe. Good for dinner with city colleagues but too noisy for a date.

We were not advised that it was a limited menu on Sundays and also when we added a child not advised that the kids menu was also not available which was disappointing.

The food and ambience were let down by rushed service. Our plates were cleared before all of us had finished eating, the bill arrived before we had finished desserts and we were asked to vacate the table even though we hadn't been told there was a turnaround time in any email or on arrival and we were about to leave anyway. Decor was nice, food was good, but a disappointing experience.

This was our second visit to Brigadiers. Last time was a birthday lunch and this was a Saturday evening business meal. Both times we were seated in Blighters and loved the atmosphere each time. Our server was really friendly and patient with us as we spent too long catching up and not enough time looking at the menu. Starters were amazing and we all shared a few of the dishes and cleared the lot. Our guests were a little worried as they normally stick to meat off the bone and were looking for something with chicken breast for main which isn't really an option as it's not what is eaten in India. However they were really impressed with their eventual choices as well as ours. The starters were so good we almost didn't have room for a mains and definitely not for dessert which was a pity. We had to vacate our table as we took so long to choose our food but it was handled really well and we were found room at the bar to have coffee and after dinner drinks.
Overall we would definitely recommend Brigadiers and I'm hoping I'll have room for dessert next time.

Service was outstanding despite it being ‘crazy busy’. The food was unique and uniformly very good/excellent. We are returning in 2 weeks time.
