It is a casual restaurant not a plush feel fine done Indian restaurant. The food was average. Frankly, expected more of the place.
Amazing food. Amazing venue and amazing service by Karoline. Came on a Sunday at 3pm and we loved it. The lamb chops are great but so was everything. I could of sat there for the next week just eating my way through the menu.
Food and Service was Amazing
The place is excellent for Indian starters but main course options are very limited.. there was no gravy dish on the menu which was a surprise as we had booked the place for dinner. However the food was delicious and the service was exceptional.
The lamb was superb and so was the buttermilk chicken. Always a buzzing atmosphere with attentive staff.
The best Indian I have ever had!
Delicious food and hospitality, one of the best places in the immediate area full of eateries. Cant wait to return again.
Amazing food and very attentive service. Went for a business lunch and got some good advice on dishes to share. Everything was very well put together, perfectly cooked and packed fully of amazing flavours. Surprisingly laid back for a mid priced city restaurant.
Good food, lively vibe. Good for dinner with city colleagues but too noisy for a date.
Great food. Great menu. Not cheap but will be back.
We were not advised that it was a limited menu on Sundays and also when we added a child not advised that the kids menu was also not available which was disappointing.
Birthday dinner - very nice gave us a free pudding! However is not cheap!!
The food and ambience were let down by rushed service. Our plates were cleared before all of us had finished eating, the bill arrived before we had finished desserts and we were asked to vacate the table even though we hadn't been told there was a turnaround time in any email or on arrival and we were about to leave anyway. Decor was nice, food was good, but a disappointing experience.
This was our second visit to Brigadiers. Last time was a birthday lunch and this was a Saturday evening business meal. Both times we were seated in Blighters and loved the atmosphere each time. Our server was really friendly and patient with us as we spent too long catching up and not enough time looking at the menu. Starters were amazing and we all shared a few of the dishes and cleared the lot. Our guests were a little worried as they normally stick to meat off the bone and were looking for something with chicken breast for main which isn't really an option as it's not what is eaten in India. However they were really impressed with their eventual choices as well as ours. The starters were so good we almost didn't have room for a mains and definitely not for dessert which was a pity. We had to vacate our table as we took so long to choose our food but it was handled really well and we were found room at the bar to have coffee and after dinner drinks.
Overall we would definitely recommend Brigadiers and I'm hoping I'll have room for dessert next time.
Service was outstanding despite it being ‘crazy busy’. The food was unique and uniformly very good/excellent. We are returning in 2 weeks time.
