We ordered one of everything on the menu and the amount was perfect for 4 of us. The bottarga pasta and quail were amazing but the desserts blew me away! Passion fruit, coffee and muscovado meringue was 🤯 and I was ecstatic to find pao de lo on the menu after losing the amazing @tabernamercado (although Bright serves theirs cold).

We understand these are tough times and it's hard for everyone, but we were expecting something better. To be fair, I'm disclosing that we had booked the table for 7pm before the curfew was introduced. However, I called a couple of days in advance to ensure the booking could still be honoured and was told it could. We were welcomed by a nice friendly guy and then handed over to a terribly unfriendly waitress who rushed us through the food and attempted several times to take my plate away while I was clearly still eating. This made the entire experience a lot less enjoyable. We had 2 menus, 2 aperitifs and a couple of glasses of wine each for a total of £163, including service charge. The set menu was good but we had good food in the area for better value for money. My partner loved the fish while I found the duck was the highlight.
The menu wasn't the expected. In their website they announced a set menu, but when we arrived it was another one. No meat option for the mains.
