Brio - Spanish Tapas Bar & Restaurant
Food is very good. Service was absolutely awful, took 25 mins to get a drink and never received our mains. 4 tables around us left as they hadn’t been served a drink in 30 mins. Zero social distancing with some tables having 8 people around them. Could be a great spot but ruined by terrible management
The food was delicious and the service was fabulous. They could not have done anymore for us! Cocktails lush too! Will be coming again for sure!!
A group of friends met together for Sunday lunch. The table was prebooked. The venue is nice and very relaxed. The food was good and I would eat it again for sure. However, the place was empty but we waited for 1.5 hours for our food to arrive which wasn’t ideal.
Too expensive for the food offer
Had a set meal
2 people each ordering
Entree : corn chip and hummus
Main: Half lobster, corn chips, chips, coleslaw
Dessert: chocolate cake
1 bottle of wine (£20)
Total Cost : £108
The entree and dessert were pretty disappointing, the main was ok but nothing special. I really can't justify the price in any way and I want my money back. It's a shame because it has received quite a few good review
I could fill my boots all day long! Food is amazing and service is amazing. The staff are professional and friendly. Had myself a cocktail and loved it!
Will be going back again.
Been a few times now and always amazing service and nice food. Good prices too.
Would definitely recommend !
I went along to an event put on for Australia Day and I'm so glad I did. What a lovely place, the staff and owners were lovely and made a real effort to speak to everyone and make them feel welcome. They had a special menu designed for the occasion and it was delicious. Luigi (the owner) said they will be hosting lots more events, so I will definitely be watching this space. I've also booked myself in for dinner...one of the other guests had eaten there a lot and said everything on the menu was delicious, and such good value. Basically restaurant food at pub prices...Win!
Wonderful restaurant. Hidden gem behind Clapham North tube..its really big inside.
I received a really warm greeting from the owner Luigi who is a real character.
This is a great venue for any parties, social clubs, people celebrating their birthdays. The space is really flexible and they have large bar too with great cocktails.
The food is really excellent. This is my 3rd visit and each time I've tried different plates.
This time I had the halloumi starter which was tasty with fresh tomato and garlic. They halloumi is rolled in almonds which is a great touch. Very light, not greasy at all.
For my main I had the Shrimp with coconut and rice. This is a fantastic tasty dish using fresh shell on giant prawns- so delicious!
They've got a good choice of wines too and side dishes.
I had no room for dessert.
This place deserves to be packed every night as it's a family run, quality establishment and not one of these tired chain bar/pub places.
Highly recommend.
What a fantastic restaurant. Delicious food, people were friendly and lovely atmosphere. Overall 10/10.
Absolutely amazing. The owners Debora and Luigi did everything they could to ensure my table were well catered for and looked after. The food was delicious, ambience was fantastic and the service was flawless. I'm very shocked to read such a nasty review below because that couldn't be further from my experience. If you're considering booking here, please disregard the 1-star review, and listen to everyone else that has reviewed with five stars. I'd love to see this place hit off as it really deserves.
The place doesn’t know if it’s a bar/ restaurant or nightclub. It has laser nightclub lights and a dancefloor, but sells itself as a restaurant. At 20.30 on a Saturday night it was pretty much empty.
We started with cocktails, very very poor caipirinhas all you could taste was sugar syrup.
The menu was uninspired, it described itself as an Italian restaurant but there was only one Italian starter on the menu. I had calamari and courgette, it was very poor quality. My friends starters were equally lacklustre.
The pasta mains were actually good, but service was very slow. The cocktails took a long time, the bottle of wine we ordered took a long time, we had two menus between five of us and they took a long time to come and take the order.
It was nice that they gave me a dessert with a sparkler as they heard it was by birthday, but other than that, very very poor.
The 2nd time we have eaten there. Already planned next visit, very soon.
Wonderful family feel place Luigi and Debra were lovely and helpful and friendly and the food was off the charts. Delicious.
Delicious food, great deal, good music, great service and a great bar for drinks after the meal.
Delicious food and great hospitality! Debora and Luigi go above and beyond for customers. A great find for tasty Italian food in London.
Thank you so much! Your kind comments are much appreciated!
