Great for sports, and service was good but sadly food was a bit cold.
Two of us ordered Thai crab salad. What came we’re two small bowls of raw carrots, cold noodles and a tiny sprinkle of crab. They missed the dressing and we had to ask for it. When it arrived, the dressing did not improve the salad much - it certainly did not have any Thai taste to it. Very unimpressive and not worth £12.50 they charge for it.
I love going to the Broadleaf to eat as the food and drinks menu is great and the staff are really friendly. However on this occasion the food took a long while to come to us. We had finished a large glass of wine each by the time the food arrived. We told the waiter everything was good but it just took a long time. We were given 50% off the bill which was a good gesture. I still recommend it!
Brilliant value for money. Unlimited drinks for the two hours with our meal. Great atmosphere and lovely food. Great place to start a Saturday night :)
Thanks so much for this, so happy that you enjoyed a great visit
decent food in a fun atmosphere whilst watching sport :-)
Thanks so much!
Very good service at Broadleaf with lots of drinks choices on the bottomless brunch and speedy wait staff. Very great staff and good drinks. Let down by the food, which is definitely not bad and some of it is really nice, but some could be better. Let’s face it though, when you go to a bottomless brunch you’re not really there for the food. Would 100% recommend.
Thanks for taking the time to leave this review, pleased to see you enjoyed it
Food wasn’t good, but the staff were lovely and friendly. Got a discount from food as it was over cooked and slightly burnt
Thanks for taking the time to review your visit HannahR. We hope you join us again. thanks Gemma
Had a great bottomless brunch at Broadleaf!
Will come back!
Great! See you soon
First visit for our group of 6 to Broadleaf. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The restaurant was, surprisingly, quite empty so the noise level was good and we could hear each other speak! The food was delicious and decent sized portions. Members of our party that chose the bottomless dinner were kept topped up. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you
Felt like we couldn’t order drinks without being moaned at
We had a lovely time here for the bottomless saturday dinner, and had great service. You really get your money’s worth for the drinks! Our waitress was lovely and attentive, and even gave us more time at the end to get more drinks (you have two hours) as one round took a bit longer than expected, which we thought was really sweet!
Hi MaddyB Thanks for joining us, I am so pleased you enjoyed it! Do come and see us again soon
Very nice food and overall great experience. The only thing that could have gone slightly better was when we first got to our table the length of time to wait to be served and get the drink flowing was quite long. As we weren’t in a rush it wasn’t a problem and otherwise the service was great. Would recommend to anybody.
Thank you HLew, we do hope to see you back soon
A little expensive - city prices I guess and quite noisey even at lunchtime.
Hi Peter, thank you so much for taking the time to leave your review. Best wishes Gemma
We went to see the India Pakistan match which I had mentioned clearly in my booking note. The booth that was reserved for us had a tv but unsure how they thought 8 people could fit in there and watch the match all day- we would have had creaky necks by the end!
We moved out to an open area and didn’t exactly get to sit together. Also when asked if we could order bottomless drinks first and roast later- we were curtly told we have to order both together or no bottomless drinks to us! Might be a good idea to mention that on your website then.
We ended up paying for full price drinks and having a roast later in the day. So the offer is a bit useless then. Going to avoid this place in future unless I can’t find any other option to watch cricket with mates.
Amazing from start to finish! Drinks were topped up constantly and food was so yummy x
This was honestly the best roast I've ever had. Usually with bottomless things the quality is slightly below par but absolutely everything we ate was superb and the best quality. The atmosphere and music was perfect, the decor was lovely and the service was second to none. Also, there is a great selection of bottomless drinks (beer, wine, bellinis, etc), not just the the standard prosecco. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!
Broadleaf is an excellent spot for a delicious business lunch with speedy service.
Food was good, staffs were amazing with good customers service and the atmosphere was great very welcoming
Great tasting food in the bottomless dinner range however I feel at the beginning the service in regards to the drinks were slow, one glass in 30 minutes was not what we expected. Ambiance was great, and staff were super friendly especially Ghizlan who ensured our glasses were topped up from the minute she was on duty. Would return, but not for the bottomless dinner option.
Had a fabulous bottomless brunch yesterday. The food, service, prosecco outstanding. Myself and 5 friends will definitely be back and I will be mentioning to all my other friends how awesome a time we had xx
A great sports bar in the heart of the City. Great atmosphere, good selection of beer and plenty of TV screens to get a good view of matches and very good sound system. Loved watching Champions League matches in there.
Really friendly staff and excellent service! Thank you!
Brilliant service and the most amazing chicken dish I've ever tasted! We are already planning on our next visit here!
Another good night out at Broadleaf. The service is very good, one of the staff called me to advise that the football was being shown after I had asked for a quiet booth For the City it is good value and a lovely bar. We will be back.
Great service, good food and value for money.
Went there for Mother’s Day and everybody loved it! The value for the bottomless drinks is brilliant, the food is delicious but the best thing about the restaurant is the staff, who are extremely warm and helpful. Will definitely return!
Staff very attentive, food was delicious, drinks were flowing and quick to arrive!
Went here 23rd March for bottomless brunch. The food and the staff were brilliant. Loved it !
Had the bottomless lunch with friends. Great food and service. Would definitely go again.
I have visited Broadleaf many times and this is the first time I have been very disappointed. My main of salmon was very small and definitely not value for money at £19. I will not be returning
They called at 3pm to inform us that the kitchen will be closed by the time of our 4pm booking (booked approximately 2 weeks in advance). Very poor service.
We came here before going to the ballet. One person from the party was running a little late and they were accommodating. We asked for all our food to come out ASAP, so we were not late and they did this without any stress and we made the ballet on time and had delicious perfectly cooked food too!
We dined on the "bottomless" Saturday dinner menu. The service, as usual, couldn't be faulted, however, we all felt that the food was very disappointing especially compared to previous visits. The squid was particularly unappetising with soggy batter. It's also a shame that they no longer have live music to accompany dinner. We might give it another go for brunch just incase we were unlucky this time round.
Our waitress was the best thing about this place. I rarely ever give out a tip on top of service but had to as she was so brilliant. I can’t remember her name but she was a black girl with glasses and short hair. Our glasses were topped up before we had a chance to ask, she was just a joy. Very good value for money so would defo recommend to friends.
Visited Broadleaf for lunch. The menu is small, but there was something for everyone with a good selection and at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back.
Really nice place to spend a pleasant evening and watch football matches, food is decent, tables and service are great, the television quality is outstanding
Had a team Friday lunch with work colleagues at Broadleaf - found it a bit strange / annoying near the end of our lunch when the waiter came over and poured the entire remains of our bottle of white wine (which was a fair amount) into just one of our diners’ glassware as a top-up, rather than spread it out between the 4 diners. As it just so happened the diner in question did not want anymore wine, so it went wasted.
Service was good - friendly and attentive. Menu looked good. I ordered a cod dish with sea vegetables for £18. The waitress suggested to get a side as it was quite light. She wasn't kidding. Roughly a tablespoon of cod in a sea of sauce (which was nice) and a garnish of samphire, i.e. more for appearance than satisfaction. This is taking the p!$$ for £18. Had to use the chips (not included) to mop up all the sauce - who designed this dish?
Other meals looked more reasonable, size wise, but were pasta and salad based so still expensive for what you got.
Plenty of competition in The City - won't be back.
Went for a bottomless brunch. Great food and atmosphere and I was also really happy with the service. My glass was never empty 😊 Definitely worth trying👌🏼
Broadleaf is a great place for a city lunch. Nice staff and pleasant surroundings. Menu could be a little wider but on the whole, a good place to eat
