Taking its place at 1-3 the Strand, overlooking the bustling Trafalgar Square, Bronte is a welcome new addition to London’s vibrant restaurant scene. Chef Andrew Lassetter is at the helm of the kitchen creating a menu inspired by the Pacific. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as weekend brunch.
Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio has given the space a bright look.
Floor to ceiling windows bathe the front pantry area in natural light, with a subtle and stylish palette traveling through to the main Dining Room.
Extraordinary materials have been used generously and boldly. The bright and airy rooms are accented with color from a pink concrete bar and green granite feature kitchen, to custom design furniture with green leather and black timber booths, and plenty of foliage to bring the outdoors in.

Bronte Ratings and Reviews
Lovely atmosphere, and great duck buns. Love this place and have been there twice already and will be going again! I especially love the design of the place, the back bar is gorgeous and the ceiling lights are very cool. Also, the music was nice in the background. Fab!
I hadn't heard of this place before - I found it whilst googling restaurants in the Covent Garden area and was immediately impressed by the website, decor and how reasonably priced it looked considering it's location and look. It didn't disappoint! My friend and I loved the ambience and the food was so tasty! Will definitely be back!
This was the first time dining in there. Ordered bean and mushroom bao bun as a main and it tasted great! All the rest of the food was amazing as well like tempura miso soup and cod. Lots of different choices so most people would find something to eat in there. Service was excellent. Haven't seen this good and enthusiastic service for a very long time in London even in the very best rated and expensive restaurants...and I eat out a Lot!
All of the staff were super lovely, from the lady at the entrance to all the waiters that served us and spoke to us, which I really appreciate as we were a bit late. The vibe and beauty of the restaurant was lovely and a perfect setting to celebrate my 23rd birthday with my 3 best friends. The food was also delicious - I had chilli salt squid, skinny fries and the angry sticky wings - all hit the spot! Overall a beautiful experience, would definitely come back again / recommend!
Great atmosphere and decorated really well! fun and quirky! Amazing food and such a wide choice of vegeterian options. Only downfall was they were out of certain ingredients which meant I was unable to order certain dishes! however, as there was so much choice I was quickly able to find an alternative.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was lovely, stunning decor and the service was exceptional. Our waiter noticed that it was my boyfriends birthday so at the end of the meal bought out a birthday dessert that was so thoughtful.
Will recommend to all my friends.
Thank you for looking after us and making our meal so memorable.
Didn't know exactly what to expect. Booked it as both me and my partner work in the Creative Industry and I was looking for a good place that was not too formal and wouldn't break the bank for his birthday. We were very pleasantly surprised as the Menu is quite diverse in both options and prices, just as the drinks Menu. We ended up going for some Chicken and the Fillet Steak. The Fillet Steak was a big winner, the sauce was out of this world - I even tried to get the ingredients out of the waiters (of course with no luck...).
The place is greatly decorated, Tom Dixon did a very good job there. Cool music and waiters are relaxed as well, which made the experience even better. We even got a 'Happy Birthday Cupcake' with a little candle - I thought that was very sweet.
Anyways, the experience was great and would definitely recommend it.
We had book this place but reading the review online and though lets try it and we were all amazed on how the place was as it was nice chilled out place where you can go and enjoy a night out. The drink were too good. My favourite two kinky lola and lemondade and elderflower. The food was delicious. The only that was a problem was we all did not know how to use chopstick.
This restaurant was recommended to me when I was looking for somewhere to eat with friends after a theatre show as I was coming from outside London.
Though a bit pricey the food was well worth it and the cocktails were fantastic.
Since them I've come into London specifically to eat at this restaurant with friends and I've recommended it to others as well.
