The food... How can you describe a steak that melts in your mouth? Chicken satay cream sauce that makes you feel like the sauce is saying I love you. Sea bass that awakes your palate. The food is beyond incredible! The ambiance, the atmosphere and the waitstaff were all good but that food.... Let's just say this, I'm ready to marry the chef. :)
Nice atmosphere but the service is extremely slow. Food was good, not complains on that!

Was a huge disappointment. The food was not bad. And the waiter tried to provide good service. But the appetizers and main course came at the same time. When I complained to the waiter he said the kitchen was rushing the food out. This was not true as the table next to us - which was seated way after us - received their appetizers first - and had plenty time before main courses came out. By the time we finished our appetizers and moved to the main course, the main course was already cold. The experience was a huge disappointment.
It was lovely and trendy.
My party came at a bad time. They were having a pool party and the music was beyond loud. I wish I would have had the courtesy of a phone call that a party was being held. I would have gone to the restaurant at another time.
Our waiter was phenomenal.
Don’t go. Worst meal in the Hamptons
Worst place I have eaten in Hamptons or Manhattan. Food was cold, bad and wrong multiple times. Drinks barely came out. Service was slow and rude.
Terrible. The ratings were far too generous. It’s got a Jersey Shore meets Donald Trump ambiance
Service was comically terrible, food was OK, would not recommend. This is exclusively a “see and be seen” place, really can’t say anything good about the place except the reuben dumplings were amazing (although they made zero sense on the menu).
Came into a mostly empty restaurant right on time for our reservation, hostess tells us we have to wait. She then tries to squeeze the three of us into a two top and didn’t understand the concept that there are two tops and four tops, no such thing as a three top.
Took us 20 minutes to get water, waiters walked past us over and over again, didn’t seem like we had one. Finally we had to go find the manager (owner?) who spent the majority of the night texting and talking on his phone. He told us that although the “economics are great” they have a really hard time finding good servers, bussers, dishwashers, so we shouldn’t expect good service in the Hamptons. He made sure to tell us that the big group next to us who also complained about their service “just booked three more reservations so 🤷🏻♂️.” You wouldn’t believe the number of tables who were chatting with each other throughout the meal about how terrible the service is.
He came over again at the end of the meal to find out how it was and was surprised to find out it took over an hour to get our food. He quickly disappeared after that.
Spend your money elsewhere unless you want to come here so you can tell all your friends you went.
Best meal I've had in the Hamptons in awhile. Had pastrami, edamame and French onion soup dumplings and chicken satay to start which were all standout anThen it was onto spicy shrimp, steak and fried rice. One dish was better than the next and the service was fantastic (strongly recommend booking a table before the 8pm rush) - Finished the night with a glass of white at the outside bar while the DJ started playing and realized I made the right choice in coming there tonight.
The restaurant was empty and it took 10 minutes to seat us. There were many “staff” wondering without direction. When asked if we wanted water, we ordered bottled water and it took 20 minutes and several attempts before we got warm water. Our waiter was terrific but the staff supporting him was awful. The food was ordinary, very EXPENSIVE for nothing special.
I’m a frequent diner at the BCH in NYC so was excited to try this one. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed in the entire 3 hour dining experience. The food was decent but service was atrocious and the music was extremely loud with a strong bass. We were a party of 7 with a 21 year old and even they said it was obnoxiously loud and uncomfortable. Trying too hard with the hamptons vibe, or what they think it should be. Calm it down a bit, train your staff, and don’t overwhelm your kitchen!
I can’t even put into words how disappointed I am , I have been there 4 times this summer and have told all my friends how amazing the food is , and that it is my favorite restaurant. Tonight was horrible , there must of been a major problem in the kitchen and nobody came out to explain to us what was happening.
I really was hoping that Stratis would come over and apologize, but that never happened . We never got any appetizers until 1130 and we had a 9:00 reservation. Ten we had to leave and never had dinner . I would hope that they can work things out and acknowledge what happened tonight
Service was eh, appetizers were just thrown on the table where they had room. No dipping sauce for dumplings, ran out of soy sauce, left out an appetizer. Oh, lol. We had no napkins and when we asked the guy threw a handful of napkins on our table and said here are 5 napkins. There was a party outside and the music was blasting. It was 6:00, not club time. The parking lot getting out was a disaster. The valet had cars parked everywhere so no one could move. People were moving other peoples cars. When we told the owner of the restaurant he just shrugged and said that was the valet company. He had nothing to do with it! We got in our car and were never checked for our ticket. Needless to say, we will never go back.
What can I say. Brooklyn Chop House Southampton, along with my friend’s made my birthday on 7/23/19 a very memorable experience. Our waiter Stephen was amazing & more than gracious! I would love to see him running his own restaurant some day! The food....superb!!!! Totally recommend this spot!!!
We had a massive group and a really good experience at Chop House. I believe the manager's name was Stratos or Status. He was a very cool gentleman, and a pleasure to deal with. Food was great and afterwards the DJ and outside was an incredibly good vibe.
We were 12 people for dinner Saturday, July 13. We all had a terrible time. We had a nice waiter who did his best. That was the only positive. The music was blasting. As we sat and waited and waited for our food we were unable to have any sort of conversation. We were the first table in from the bar (across from the entrance) and the people at the high boy tables were literally on top of our table. Food came way too slowly and was not great. We could have used more guidance but we could not hear the waiter. Even the younger pepole were unhappy. Truly terrible.

Had a great meal! Sat outside which was great. The owner came by and ordered for us. While we expected to be crushed by the bill, it was surprisingly reasonable. The food was amazing. You need to try the dumplings, they were awesome. We’ll be back.
They didn’t serve anybody food. Everybody around us waited over an hour for appetizers and then walked out when they never came. Plus side they comped drinks since it was such a disaster. Apparently this experience is the norm here. Pictures of food look great. Not sure there is even a kitchen in the back.
As a hospitality professional in the restaurant industry, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I had a 9:30PM dinner reservation and was not seated until 10:15PM. Finally, after being seated, the entire service team tried to constantly “upsell” us. Suggesting set menus, tons of steaks, and doubles of every drink. We ordered at around 10:30 and did not receive a single dish until at least 11:30 and many dishes were forgotten. Not only were the dishes forgotten, but I told our server they were forgotten and he told us he’d take them off the bill. Once our horrid experience was finally over and I received the check, the items were still on it! I doubt I will ever return to this establishment and warn others to be careful.
Avoid at all costs!!! This place is a complete disaster and unless you are absolutely not hungry and have nothing but hours to waste, this place should be avoided at all cost!! I know it's the Hamptons, I know they have temporary workers and are trying to do the best they can, but when you charge $25/drink and $80-$125 or so an entree should you really have to wait 30 minutes after you're seated for water??? And then you order and 75 minutes until the first appetizer come? Another 20 minutes until the next one comes!! And just soaked in sauce to the point it is inedible. Then we wait and wait and wait for the main courses. And then we wait some more. Another hour passes from the time they pick up the appetizers until the main courses come out. Really? And I assure you it's not just me, EVERYONE is in the same boat, sitting and waiting in disbelief as no food comes out. And all talking to each other as no one can believe a restaurant can actually operate this way I've seen a lot of bad meals in my lifetime but never have a seen a combination of complete disregard for the customer without at least an attempt to recognize the problem and try to apologize. When the owner came up to me he pretty much laughed at the problems.
Terrible service. Seated a half hour after our reservation and didn’t receive any food for over an hour. They seated everyone late, don’t know how to turn over tables. The noise level is unbearable they blast music as if you’re in a nightclub.
We went memorial weekend and after having wonderful inventive food but waiting 1 hour fir a table and two hours for the food we were asked to come back and promised it would be better, it was the same ! It is too bad because the setting outside is charming and the music is fun!
The food was terrible. I will not be going back there. The chicken satay was the funkiest color I’ve ever seen, the crispy beef was inedible and the local black bass tasted like chilean sea bass. Very disappointing.
Great birthday, great music and excellent drinks
Lively environment, prompt courteous service when checking in. Waiter was pleasant but advice on menu items lacked knowledge or experience. Food portions much smaller than expected for basic Chinese food. Wait time between our appetizers and entrees was almost 1 hour while the "foodgod" was delivered appetizers and the "45 minute Peking duck" within minutes of being seated next to us. No one checked on us during the long time waiting for the dinner and we had to flag down a waiter for our check which already included a 20% "gratuity". Not sure if we will be back.

Excruciatingly slow. Waited 40 minutes for our first round of drinks, and over an hour for the appetizers to come out after we sat on a Saturday night. Owner came over to apologize and was then rude. The chatter amongst the well-clad Hamptonites in the women’s bathroom all agreed that this was the worst service they’ve experienced out here. Only go if you’re ... already full.
The ambience was cool but that was about it. It took an inexcusable amount of time to get our food and when we did, we got it in dribs and drabs. And the waiter charged us for, but didn’t bring, 4 of our orders!
Great new restaurant. Good vibe. Unique marriage of different styles of food, best quality ingredients. Very attentive management to make sure you have a great experience. Stratis knows how to do it!

The chicken satay was not good didn’t even taste like chicken. The French onion soup dumplings were ok. The shrimp fried rice was ok a little over done

Restaurant had just opened a week prior so was expecting to encounter some problems. However, servers were friendly but polite; food was very tasty. It's a mix of a play on Chinese food, i.e. pastrami dumplings and steaks and chops. However, some dishes were quite spicy which was not indicated on the menu. Portions are a good size. Wine and cocktails are hefty prices - $18-$20 per. Now that we know how to order, i.e. a couple of appetizers and one entree to share, we will definitely go back.
I would have difficulty recommending this restaurant to friends and family. The food is okay. There is nothing spectacular about the food or venue. The prices are outrageous. I know that we are in the Hamptons but, dinner for a family of 5 including two young children, shouldn't come to $540.00.
The restaurant was almost empty since we were there on a Sunday night in early June. The food was great, as was the service.
Not sure how the noise level will be once the Hamptons summer crowd kicks in.
I was grateful to get a reservation, as I had friends visiting from DC, and they are big “foodies” and always impress us when we visit, so I wanted to make sure to take them somewhere they would appreciate- they were very pleased. The “Asian” flair was so unique, and although I wasn't expecting it, it was a pleasant surprise.The food was amazing. The dumplings were so good! Cocktails were out of this world (I especially loved the watermelon drink. I loved the ambiance and cozy booth. There was meticulous attention to detail and service- with excellent recommendations. The waiter encouraged family style so we did not over- order- it was a wonderful way to kick off a fantastic weekend.
The menu is limited and has no salads or starters. The steak was good. The bartenders were great. The noise was unbearable. We will not go back and will not recommend the restaurant.
