Brother Hubbard - North

The food was slightly bland, there was not much taste and I feel that what I got was suppose to be “scrambled eggs” but was very mushy. Service was a 5/10, we ask a waiter for orange juice and never received it but we seen him serving all other tables.

Lovely varied menu - the halloumi sticks and cauliflower plates were delicious, as were the duck and short ribs. Definitely want to go back and try more dishes!
Service was great - a perfect balance between there when you need it, and not hanging around. Lovely evening.

It was a very nice experience, tasty food good service. The only thing that wasn’t great and made my experience not as pleasant is that we were told at the door it’s a set menu and we had no other option on a Saturday evening, on top there was obligatory 10%on top of it as service charge for 2 people even, so it added up a a very pricey evening and food waste as we couldn’t eat so many courses.

Food was amazing with top class service. One of our party had a nut allergy and this was accommodated with no hassle from the staff ensuring all meals were marked as nut free in the kitchen. Staff were very attentive even though it was a busy Saturday in the lead up to Christmas.

Delicious food. Especially the starter and special desert. Great atmosphere and plenty space between tables.

Very disappointing after fabulous experiences at the Harrington Street branch. Our cocktails were not drinkable, we sent them back but still had to pay for substandard beverages. The food was cold and the customer service poor. We won’t be going back!

Lovely food, lovely Christmas experience. My beef main could have been slightly hotter but the flavours were delicious. Lovely night. I did not feel rushed in and out like I have in other places and that was lovely too.

Great experience as always ! The vegan mezze tray was really nice ! One of my top favourite places to eat with family and friends. At times it can get really noisy though ... like it was last weekend. But the food and service compensates by far

This is a great brunch restaurant, but dinner was a little disappointing. The food was good, but all very salty. The decor/table is very ordinary and the service was lacking. I'll be back for brunch, but not for dinner again.

Group of friends went out for my birthday. Food was wonderful and we felt really comfortable with all the social distancing measures. One of my all time favourite restaurants in Dublin!

We booked a table for breakfast, the tables were well spaced out, all the waiting staff were wearing masks, the service was efficient and friendly and the prosecco tasted wonderful. This is a really nice place to eat, great staff.

Great terrace and room for brunch in the post COVID world

First time eating out since lockdown restrictions lifted and in true Brother Hubbard style, it didn’t disappoint. Tables set apart, lovely lighting so the atmosphere wasn’t compromised and the food (as always) was so full of flavour. Excellent value too.

I love Bro Hubbard for casual, healthy dining, with Middle Eastern flavours and influences. Lovely ambience and the trailing plants create a nice Babylon vibe!

Form the start of our evening the staff were outstanding. We was greeted warmly and when seated was talked through the menu. The food is exceptional, so well presented, tasty, and served promptly, we enjoyed the sharing menu. The room is very comfortable and a nice environment to enjoy our meal in. I would also say that it was great value for money. Overall a wonderful evening without any negativity. We definitely will be going back soon.

Evening menu is excellent and staff are lovely. Great for groups of friends - lots of sharing options. Atmosphere is casual, not formal or romantic. Loved the labneh and the mains were delicious too.

Food was really good and so was the service - but after about 30 mins of being there it got quite cold and drafty. We moved seats as we thought draft came from door but it didn't help. Also, we felt that 12.95 for pancake dessert was quite expensive.
