Sunday: 10:00 - 18:00
Had a lovely Sunday lunch with the family for my birthday. Two members are vegan and they were to en a good selection. The Sunday roasts and vegetables were outstanding. The service was fast and excellent.
Great meal, scallops were amazing. Table was wobbly but staff happy for us to move table. Music too loud downstairs but far better upstairs. Cocktails were fantastic if a bit pricey.
Excellent restaurant. Food beautifully prepared and tasted fabulous. Steak was awesome as was the mackerel pate starter. Well worth a visit.
We went to Browns for a family birthday celebration and could not have been more pleased with the food, service and atmosphere - thank you Browns!
All I can say is wow!! This was one of my best dining experiences. The moment you enter the restaurant you are treated like your a vip, the bar staff are friendly, polite and very helpful! The waiter we had couldn’t do enough. The ambience was fantastic and the food was amazing! We have already recommended this place to others and will definitely be coming here again!!
We dined on the Prosecco Friday Menu, service was great, food was delicious my only gripe was the lack of vegetarian options on the menu! Besides that a great value evening
The food was top notch - well cooked, well presented, well priced, creative and delicious with a very varied menu without being too big. We didn’t eat off the 2 course fixed price £32 menu (subject to a time constraint this included unlimited wine I think) but that menu looked great too.
Drinks service was a tad on the slow side, but the staff were attentive - shame for the waitresses that they all looked super uncomfortable in their unnecessarily short skirts (why? it’s a smart restaurant, not a dodgy bar) . The birthday party in the area below were having a good time so it was loud upstairs, but overall the atmosphere was a mix of serious (the food) and fun (the vibe) and it’s a great building and location in Worcester
Will definitely eat there again, just hope the girls get some classier work wear.
Great atmosphere, great food and terriffic service. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional.
Good setting, inside decor good. Menu fine, drinks menu showed a good choice of gins but not all were available . Waiter did not really understand what we wanted to order
There was a problem with over half the meals, wrong sauce, wrong chips, poor burger...the worst was the £32 fillet steak which was served as a 4oz sandwich steak. Absolutely shocking for the price. Embarrassed to have taken friends there
My favourite place to meet up with my friends. Great food in a lovely location.
Excellent food and service. Rooms are really nice and location is great.
Was recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint. Beautiful location, fantastic interior, really nice but doesn't feel pretentious. Staff were all so lovely, welcoming, attentive and friendly. Food was exceptional, already plan to go back soon
I had the chicken which was good but my friend's "rack of lamb" turned out to be a single lamb chop and he was very disappointed. Desserts were much over-priced.
Found this bar by chance and would highly recommend, great service, friendly staff and food delicious with a great drinks menu.
First visit last Friday following recdent move to the area. Will return asap
My first time at Browns and I was interested to see whether the feedback that I had was justified.
It’s a great location, but,I could not make the most of it because I was there on a fairly formal business occasion.
I’d like the chance to do justice to the bar and outside space.
It looked like a great Sunday lunch venue.
Absolutely lovely, great welcome, service and friendly staff, the food was outstanding, we actually stayed the night in a beautiful room, cant fault it, thank you to you all
FIZZ Friday really good idea - would be better if rosé was an option as well as red/white wine. Food lovely and well presented
Fantastic service really attentive.
Prices reflected the quality of food and service so more of a special occasion place to Eat for us
Made to feel special
Lovely environment will def revisit
Always good special occasions..never let's us down lovely meal again and good price
Excellent food and service for a birthday treat
We had chateaubriand and scallops/duck to start perfect with the accompanying Chilean merlot. We opted for a simple dessert of strawberries and cream as we were full and satisfied from the preceding courses. Would eat here again very nice
Had a wonderful meal, atmosphere a little "lively" due to the bar downstairs but this didn’t impact negatively at all. Food 10 out of 10, service attentive and prompt, will definitely be going again.
We came for Sunday lunch with age range 1 to 91. We were grateful when the chaps lifted my Dad's wheelchair down a couple of steps with no fuss. Good food and afterwards the little one could paddle in the fountains outside with the other kids whilst we drank our coffee.
Staff attentive, polite and helpful and on hand ( unlike some places where once the food is dished out they disappear ! )
Myself and three friends had an 'after the cricket' meal. We were 90 minutes early but the staff fitted us in, service was excellent, meal was delicious. Expensive but we don't mind paying for quality and we felt we had our monies worth.
Friday night Prosecco/wine and two course meal lovely food and wine great service, did find it a bit strange Rose wine not included could only have red or white a bit of a shame as one of our party only really likes Rose.
Lovely food and setting.
Needed to send one starter back (cold) and main course (Pork Belly) very disappointing. Expected more for the prices, not quite fine dining in our opinion.
We sat out on the terrace with a beautiful view of the river. The food was lovely and the staff very friendly. The only downside was that the food took ages to come - there was apparently a problem in the kitchen. I would have offered a free drink or something, but on the whole, it was a really lovely place to eat.
The food at Browns is very good, very tasty.
When we first booked it was £35 for 3 courses, but when we arrived it turned out to be £32 for 2 courses with Prosecco and Wine included, they said they changed it a few weeks ago, was a bit disappointed in that.
We don’t live in Worcester but everytime we visit we make a point of eating at Browns. It’s a great place with fab food and we always feel looked after.
I did email Browns yesterday morning to complain about how poor my meal was but haven’t heard anything back at all.
I had the tart very poor, Flavourless!!
The whole experience was poor and expensive!
So very sorry Browns, the only thing that spoilt this family gathering was the sweet offerings, a large tumbler three quarters filled with cream that you had to fight through before finding the first strawberry was not my idea of strawberries and cream. Maybe call it cream with the odd strawberry if you could find one at the bottom of the glass.
The meal was lovely but water started to pour on to our table from a light fitting aboveus which was rather disappointing for such an expensive birthday treat!
Great food and service - good value and best chataubriand ive had in a long while
Went for husbands birthday, food was exquisite and service was excellent. Would definitely go again!
EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FOOD, GREAT LOCATION AND VIEW
Lovely evening, can’t fault anything
Food was exceptionally cooked and the service was great too
Great food but on the evening we dined it appeared they were short staffed. Lots of complaints from other tables around on the time taken between course. We were seated at 8:45 and had meal delivered at 10pm.
Good location in Worcester by the river. Tastefully decorated and service was excellent. The problem we had on the night was that there was a long wait for our main course. A Wednesday night but the restaurant was probably three quarters full. We did chase up the order and the staff were extremely sympathetic and apologetic and we were offered a free drink. Apparently there was a problem in the kitchen! however, the food when it came was extremely good and served attractively.
If in the are I would certainly go again.
