Browns - Bluewater
Would recommend Browns to everyone. Met up with friends had a great breakfast. Nobody hurried us out and we spent a relaxing Saturday morning eating breakfast and drinking tea. The staff were lovely and the restaurant is nicely spaced out so you feel squashed in.
Really nice restaurant and the staff are friendly. Bit pricey but is a Brasserie so expect to pay good prices. Food was very tasty.
The food is always quite good and there is always a nice ambience - you don’t feel as though you’re eating in a shopping centre!
The service is a bit hit and miss - sometimes really good and other times offhand and sparse. Generally overall I would recommend if you want to feel you’re ‘out out’ at Bluewater
very average food in this place but it’s cheap and the staff are good.
The meal was perfect! I would recommend the the pork belly, it was melt in the mouth. Our waitress was lovely too very attentive. I will be book again very soon
You ran out of food we wanted !!! Not good for a top restaurant so we’re disappointed won’t be going back
Lovely breakfast. Friendly service.
Nice atmosphere to catch up with a friend.
Caught up with old friend for a catch up meal. Browns had a nice 3 course menu, good food, nice decor and quite ambiance for a catch up. Nice little piano bar at the front. Likely be back for the same.
Food is OK, service seemed slow and fairly unattentive
Generally quite good experience, only downside was me and my date were left standing for over 5 minutes to be seated at our prebooked table.
Fabulous slow cooked pork belly with apple pie - delicious.
In spite of booking ahead we were seated next to an unruly, exceptionally noisy kids party. Staff were not helpful in either moving us nor asking parents to exercise a modicum of restraint over the children charging around the tables. The food came at separate times and staff had to be reminded repeatedly of outstanding drinks orders.
We ate as a group of 5 ladies. Food was excellent but service was slow even though it was not on a busy night.
Been here loads
Will continue to use it
A superb Sunday roast
The steak is so good! and the place has a really nice vibe
Had Afternoon Tea at Browns Bluewater with a Friend.
I didn't mention I was a Vegetarian until I got there. The waiter coped with this very well and the Brioche Bun selection as part of the afternoon tea were lovely. I particulary enjoyed the Beetroot and Feta Cheese.
The Scones were lovely and not too filling and the cakes were divine. I couldn't eat my portion of the cakes so the waiter was happy to let me take them home.
For £13.50 per head the Afternoon Tea was delightful and I would definitely go there again.
The food was amazing, the staff were fun, enthusiastic and energetic, the ambience was very nice and it was an all round really good night
I will be quick to hold my hands up and say we were 15 minutes late and had more people than anticipated. So perhaps that is where the bad experience begins. However, our host were not the most pleasant of people and rather than see what they could do to accommodate, the first thing he says is inform me that I am 30 minutes late which was incorrect, and that there is no where for us to sit as there were a small family of 3 sitting at the end of the area they had prepared for 8 of us. It was unfortunate to say the least. The first waiter that came round to ask for our drinks order was so dismissive, she didn't even give anyone a chance to respond and tell her what drinks they will like. This was my first experience at Browns Bluewater, and to be honest, if not that we had 10 guests and a 6 week old baby, I would have gone somewhere else. Customer service was poor to say the least. Made me feel like I was desperate to eat there. Service was so slow. We got there at 2.30pm, and our food orders were not taken till almost 3.40pm. I had to, at one point go to the host and tell him I was disappointed with how we were greeted when we came in, only then did he acknowledge this and said they are working on providing us more space. I hardly write negative reviews, but for the sake of the guests I had invited to celebrate the birth of our daughter, I had to make an exception here. I'll be expecting Browns to respond of course and deny all the claims and blame everything on us being 15 minutes late and having 2 people more - I already accept that was my fault. It doesn't justify Browns providing poor customer service as a result. I hope I never have to experience this again.
Good food and service, spoilt by the table of women next to us shouting at the tops of their voices so the whole restaurant could hear their conversation!!
Put a damper on the meal really, just a shame you can't vet the customers first!!
Great service and food was good. Been before and will return again.
Always love lunch and cocktails here
Browns couldn't find our reservation when we arrived but did managed to find us a table. The restaurant was busy and we sat for 15 minutes before our server took our drink order. The skinny virgin Pina colada was nothing more than yellow coconut water so very disappointing. Otherwise our meal was tasty and enjoyable.
In an hour of waiting we saw no food .bad service staff unattractive, manager entertaining his family. We left after only drinks .
