A gem in the Picadilly Circus area. My aubergine curry was nice though a bit heavy on the coconuts. My friend had the puy lentil dish which looked OK for a veggie meal. These dishes cost the same as the set menu so in that sense not great value but the restaurant was very nice, with white tablecloths, good ambience and generally attentive service. Would definitely use again.

A real gem of a find. We went to Brumus before the theatre and they do an excellent 3 course set menu for £20. The service was outstanding with a really friendly, efficient and polite waiter who was extremely attentive. We loved the decor which is bright and funky but not over the top. The food was really good with added treats such as lovely warm bread and a mini-icecream as an extra pud. The portion sizes weren't huge but perfectly adequate and the cake was enormous. Thank you all at Brumus, we will be returning and would highly recommend your restaurant. Such a pleasure to be somewhere other than one of the standard chains.

This has been the best restaurant experience for the four of us for a very long time!

I have recommended to many friends - the best place to go for Her Majesty's Theatre.

Food, staff, ambiance, value -Excellent, excellent!

Delicious food and the set menu is incredibly good value. The service was exceptional - with special thanks to Stratos - and the Kit Kemp decor is so beautiful. Highly recommended

Visited this restaurant for post theatre dinner beautifully decorated with excellent service and the food was fantastic. We had the set menu which given the quality of food and service was excellent value
Would thoroughly recommend bargain dining at a 5star venue with food to match.....gorgeous sips and hand cream in the toilets too

I have visited Brumus several times before with different friends each time. I always forget about the high level of service you get here and the attention to detail. The set menu is very appealing and affordable although I tried the a la carte this time. The wine is also reasonably priced - my friend and I chose a great Riesling this time at around £35 a bottle. We both chose a fish main course with a side of the tastiest new potatoes I've had in ages (no butter, no dressing required). It's a popular place but you can have a pleasant conversation with fellow diners without having to shout. Thanks particularly to Zsolt our waiter for great service.

The second meal in Brummus in the past couple of weeks and it did not disappoint. The set menu choices were superb and the waiting staff extremely friendly. A lovely ambience for a Friday evening. Brummus is fast becoming a favourite place to dine!

Great restaurant
Gave four stars for food as had pre theatre menu which was very good value but don’t think showed off what I imagine can be excellent food to full Advantage.
Suppose it’s that balance of efficiency of serving quickly against what can be prepared in time available. Would definitely recommend to friends really lovely ambience and great unstuffy staff

We absolutely love this hotel and others having stayed in many. Hotel staff are great we didn't want to write any bad review online but wanted to give feedback the service in the restaurant was quite bad we had to call waiter for everything the Sunday Roast potatoes were very hard lacked seasoning gravy was a teaspoon size Yorkshire was burnt we didn't get any checkbacks on the food took 5 mins to get attention for some horseradish and gravy we were told horseradish finished gravy didn't arrive until we finished also they came with horseradish at the end of meal tart tasted old no one offered dessert to our boy when we asked he rudely replied in a minute then carried on setting a table for mother's day wasn't very special preferred the soho last year we do love the soho but the roasts nothing special

A wonderful experience with incredibly good food, lovely helpful staff in bubbling ambiance right in the centre of town. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. The 4 stars for service is only that the kitchen were running late however the front of house were charming, always keeping us updated.

We visited Brumus for a pre Theatre Dinner. It can't be better located for Her Majesty's Theatre being directly across the road.

The food was nice but the visit was made much nicer by our server. Funny, personable and friendly (I wish I could remember his name) he made our visit soooooo much better.

Many thanks
Sam

The dining room is very welcoming with a great mix of fabrics and colours, with fun pictures and objects, typical of Kit Kemp's style. A million miles away from the acres of beige we have had to endure in "stylish" minimalist interiors of the past.

We had the set dinner, which was excellent value and delicious. A great attention to a variety of flavours, colours and texture in each dish. A short wine list from which we had an Australian cabernet blend.

Friendly and attentive service - a great evening

Everything else was ok but the service was too slow.. We waited 1 hour for the first course to arrive and the whole dinner was 3 hours long. If that could be improved I’d definitely give it a better score

Had a wonderful time. The food was excellent - had market fish of the day which was sea bream served on a bed of spinach. I don't normally eat spinach, but this was delicious. The table given was great as was tucked away and the decor was beautiful. We were celebrating my husband's special birthday. The service was so good and Greta accommodated our every wish! Excellent ambiance as well!
