Very good food, with lovely presentation & service.
Just perfect. We went for the set menu lunch prior to a show and everything exceeded expectations. The setting is stunning, the food outstanding and the service exemplary - a true gem! Thank you to all the team at Brunello Restaurant.
Great food and service, looked after very well
Staff is always extremely welcoming.
Food is great and the setting is wonderful.
We love this place and its convenience.
Our evening was very pleasant and the staff attentive. The meal was an average expensive Italian of which there are many in London. We probably wouldn’t return unless happened to be in the area.
Wonderful evening at the Baglioni Brunello Restaurant and bar. The service, food, price and ambience was very good . Great for a date or sophisticated night out. Highly recommended.
Great pre event venue. Staff friendly and food superb
Very very expensive £187 for 2 burgers & chips and 7 drinks!!
Everything went perfect. Excellent food and wine list!!
Friendly, attentive but discreet service. We were looked after from the front door onwards. Food delicious and the set menu with glass of Prosecco included was good value for central London.
Very nice décor and location. Food was average (dessert was frozen and had to be sent back). Service a little slow which got to be a problem as this was pre-theatre.
A great place to be in, just off Hyde Park and close to The Royal Albert Hall.
A good selection of food and a seasonal menu too,
Truly wonderful lunch. Very inventive seasonal veal dish. Would go agIn.
We hadn’t been for a while and it was just as good as before, even better. Service excellent and we were able to go for the early evening set meal - excellent value. Also they accommodated my husbands request for gluten free bread and pasta vey well - nothing was a problem. Fully recommend this lovely elegant restaurant
Go for the fixed price menu (before 7) - excellent value. Avoid aperitifs unless you want to spend a lot of money!
Friendly, attentive service was much appreciated
Excellent service, food,
Food and service were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. We had the pre theatre menu which we felt was good value
Private, exclusive feel, quiet, delicious, fab service.
Exclusive Xmas dinner.
damn fine xmas lunch thank you for making everything so perfect
Great christmas dinner with all the family. Next time in London, this restaurant will be on my list
My husband and I came to this restaurant for a quick bite before heading to the Royal Albert Hall for our anniversary.
We ordered a Club Sandwich each and 2 side dishes ‘Arancini balls and Calamari’. For an Italian restaurant the food was not up to 5 star standard. The Arancini balls were terribly bland with no seasoning (just salt on the coating) and the calamari was over cooked.
We also spotted around 12 flies nested on the wall right near where we were sitting.
We left very disappointed after having to pay just under £100 for food we did not enjoy 😔
A lovely spot for dinner with friends - very good food and excellent service - a little bit lacking in atmosphere as wasn’t full but we made up for that. Expensive but a lovely spot for a special event
Lovely venue. Each staff contact was in itself was good but we were left unattended for long periods. Food average in quality but expensive.
Excellent food, delicious tuna and very attentive service. Will definitely visit again !
They kept the kitchen open for us which we appreciated alot
The food was OK. Crab ravioli good ( if thrown on the plate) whilst starters and deserts average.
But 2star michelin price for averagely decent bistrot food constitutes poor value. The restaurant was only a quarter full at lunchtime - I am not surpised.
The food was solid. Service was even better. The setting is OK - neither great nor bad. Overall it was decent although there are better values nearby.
Fabulous food service and place
Exceptional food and service to match as you would expect. An abundance of complimentary olives, bruschetta, choices of bread and antipasti. We enjoyed the baked seabass. Excellent choice for an exquisite pre-theatre dinner and located within 5 minutes walking distance to the Albert Hall. The staff were professional and very friendly.
After the show at the Albert Hall we popped back for a night cap and was welcomed with open arms. We were not rushed and enjoyed the warm summers evening of Kensington under heated parasols. The Hotel Baglioni is first class and the pricing at the restaurant is appropriate for the establishment.
Excellent food and great staff. Will definitely be back again
Disappointing evening overall. Came due to the high rating. Ambience was nice, upscale. We were one of first at 7:30. Service was nice but when I asked what was in lasagna was told “beef”. I think I was looking for a bit more of a description. Appetizers were good, Parma and melon was good, burrata was ok. Main courses were a disaster. Eggplant parmigiana and lasagna were not hot, not warm, cold!! They really looked like they were leftovers from the day before. I had rigatoni carbonara which was under cooked, only warm in middle but cold outside! Flavor was nice but didn’t make up for cold and undercooked. I spoke to manager who apologized and offered to give me some money back or to come back again which I appreciated. Overall will not go back and was greatly disappointed.
This was the perfect place to visit before our concert at Royal Albert Hall. They took amazing care of us and the food was delicious.
Very good food but restaurant lacked atmosphere. Service on terrace was poor considering number of customers. Restaurant service much better and knowledgeable waiter recommended good wines by the glass.
Went here with the intent of ordering pasta dishes that we’ve had prior. We’re sadly disappointed with the quality of the dishes, didn’t live up to what we’ve experienced at the restaurant prior. The waiter and manager seemed annoyed when discussing my allergies and it felt like an inconvenience to them.
Good food and great service. Good vegetarian choice too!
The food and service were excellent. Our only complaint was that the décor is dated and the dining area has no windows at all. It was the only detraction to an otherwise good experience.
We were hotel guests at the Baglioni - also very disappointing!
Very disappointed in both the service and the food. The food was very bland and uninspired. The service was poor - We waited approximately 10 minutes for a waiter after being seated (and the restaurant was almost empty). Asked for a wine list and was rebuffed to try a recommended glass by the captain - decided at this point that I didn't want to splurge on a bottle and took the recommendation on the glass of red. Not great, but insulting at £14 per glass. The best part of the meal was the amuse bouche. After the amuse bouche, we started with the Burrata which came with a few few roasted tomatoes and greens, but no dressing or other flavorings - had to ask for some balsamic vinegar and olive oil. I had the Sea Bass Au gratin which was an over cooked thin piece of fish smothered in pistachio bread crumbs with no hint of truffle or any other flavor. My wife had the Color Play with John Dory which consisted if fried fish nuggets on a plate of different colored sauces which all tasted the same - bland. For dessert we had the chocolate bonet with vanilla and cinnamon ice cream - at least the ice cream was good, but no sign of the vanilla, just cinnamon. Even the dinner rolls weren't worth eating - not warm and didn't appear fresh. There was a better bread selection on the breakfast buffet. We had some fabulous meals during our stay in London (even our £15 fixed price pre-theater meal), but this was not one of them. Felt very disappointed even with the £85 credit that we used from our hotel booking. Avoid at all costs.
