We were looking forward to eating here , but unfortunately the food was disappointing and obviously had been sitting around a while potatoes were not crispy and the roast pork was definitely on the rare side , and yes we would have complained but we had trouble attracting any staff member and £100 for four for Sunday lunch I hoped for more!

Service used to be amazing but the level has really dropped. The waitresses didn’t really know what the specials were & I had to go to the bar to ask what the desserts were & was told that the kitchen might have closed already! Previously they’ve always been amazing but not this time. We went cause it was pie week & although good food, strange to serve chips not mash with the pie, maybe it was cheaper/easier for them. I’ll be going again as it could be a one off but disappointing.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch at Brunswick and Thorn. We had the roast pork and the lentil roast, which were both delicious. The service was top notch, and they are dog friendly, meaning we could take our pooch with us.

Highly recommend, and we can't wait to go back and try their lunch and breakfast menus.

We visit Brunswick & Thorn quite regularly. On Sunday, the service was slow. I ordered the steak special, which I was told was sirloin steak. It didn’t look like sirloin and was chewy and gristly. I wouldn’t order this again or recommend it.

We had a very nice meal but the menu had been reduced so the choice was very limited. We should have been told this when booking.

We had a delicious meal at this restaurant - we were given both the Christmas menu and the normal menu and chose two courses from both, all of which were delicious and with good portion sizes. The owner’s husband served us for most of the evening and he was friendly and efficient. The only improvement that we felt could be made might be to lower the lighting which might make the atmosphere more intimate and less municipal. However, this minor issue didn’t spoil our experience at all.

Trendy and creative decor, attentive and happy service with reasonably priced homemade food. If you're driving, ask for a non alcoholic cocktail...even the drinkers in the party were impressed with the flavours!

Staff went above and beyond as we went as a large group with some fussy eaters! They emailed the special menu through and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and we have already recommended to friends and family. We will definitely be returning.

Great food though was busy so had to wait a little while and kids got a bit impatient! But great service and a really lovely and relaxed atmosphere. Have already booked to go again and great to have somewhere that works as well for lunch as it does for an evening event

Having reserved our lunch table , it was good to see our table with a clear reserved card, but it was close to the main door. However, it was very quiet, and although we were given the choice of tables we didn't move. It may be advisable to ask for a table away from the doors when reserving. The service was excellent. Drinks were brought to the table quickly, and there was only a short wait for our food. We had ordered the fish platter to share, and was not disappointed; it was more than enough for my wife and I. The Brunswick & Thorne has a very friendly ambience.

Been here a few times and the food has been very good. Unfortunately not as good this time as the ‘toast’ was soggy and baked beans not hot. Minor gripes really but I expected better.

Very friendly staff who informed us of waiting time for food immediately which we were fine with, and then kept apologising for even though it really wasn't a long wait!
They were brilliant. Definitely will be returning.

I booked a table through this app and I got to the restaurant and they didn’t have my booking!
I had a full English breakfast, it’s was nice, however the mushroom was over cooked and very tough. Bacon wasn’t crispy and was soggy. And the egg yolks were hard and over cooked. Being a chef myself who regularly serves cooked breakfast in the workplace, it’s the little things that make it better. Overall it’s was ok, probably would go back and try the main menu.

Superb food with a good choice of vegan dishes. Happy to modify any dish to accommodate us e.g. sorbet instead of cream with dessert. Oatmilk available for excellent coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff. Music level just right so we could converse with ease. Unhurried relaxed atmosphere - altogether a hugely welcome addition to Worthing's eateries - we'll be happy to return often.

Quality of food was good and portion size was excellent, but the roast pork was not hot enough. Overall it was an enjoyable meal and I would go there again.
