It was a great experience, welcoming atmosphere and professional staff!

Although the food at Bubba Gump is great, the prices are far too high for some fried fish and shrimp. The American outlets have the big portions going for them which makes the prices more acceptable but in the UK, the portions are not that big.

Amazing food, with great ambience within the restaurant, good flip card system being used, highly recommend!

Avoid this restaurant, I'm not one to usually leave a bad review but this place is an exception. Food was served luke warm and tasted like it had been fried in old oil the hush pups were particularly bad. Waiting staff were horrendous and were happy to dump and run before you could ask for cutlery, sauces and more drinks etc. My beer was served flat on 3 occasions so I opted for a water instead which was served in a dirty glass, just avoid and book somewhere else.

Enjoyed our visit. Service and food were both good. Our dessert was a little late coming out but the server was great. Will visit again.

Like the fact we wasn't rush especially during this time, but would have been nice to have been check on to see if the food was okay or if we needed any more drinks

I hadn’t been to Bubba Gump in a while as my past visit wasn’t great, but I decided to give them another chance, and boy am i glad that i did! W firstly ordered a strawberry lemonade to drink, which was delicious ! It had real strawberry in it, so with every sip, you would get the citrusy taste of the lemonade quickly followed by the jammy strawberry syrup. For starter i ordered the crab stuff mushrooms, which were actually quite filling for a starter. They were amazing, they were well cooked, cheesy, and buttery. I will say they didn’t taste much like crab, but they were lovely. For the main, i was stuck between ordering the Shrimpers Heaven, or Shrimp New Orleans. I asked the waiter for his opinion who recommended the Shrimp New Orleans. I am so happy that i took his recommendation because this was honestly one of the most delicious shrimp dishes i have ever tried. The shrimps were cooked to perfection, and the sauce was lovely and buttery which the perfect amount of spice and seasoning. Lastly I ordered the bread pudding, i was absolutely stuffed but it was worth it. It was a huge portion, with ice cream and cream. It tasted fresh, cinnamony, and had the perfect level of sweetness (not overly sweet). I will definitely be going again! The staff were also super friendly, especially the guy who served me. I wish i had got his name because he definitely deserves praise for his politeness. I went alone and he made me feel really comfortable and happy to be there.

Dirty tables all around poor service and food was poor - we have eaten there many times and never had a bad experience.

We booked because the night was busy and everywhere in town was booked. Took 50 mins for food to arrive from time we got there. Food was awful I'm afraid, worse than I would expect from a large chain pub - sloppy, greasy, no substance, badly presented. Dishes with shrimp had barely any shrimp. Staff were friendly but clearly they could not manage the volume. First choices for 2 of 4 people were not available which was only discovered (in two separate visits back to the table) when the other 2 were just ready to be served, so we did not eat at same time and extended the visit well beyond the time we wanted to remain there. Seating in the foyer area feels isolated and should be scrapped. Decor is fine but the focus on one single film is borderline fetish level - just weird even for fans of the movie. (At least with a Planet Hollywood type place there is variety). Price is way too high for the quality - purely because it's tourist prices. I could not believe most reviews were positive, which sadly just means most guests have never been to a decent restaurant or tasted real food. To top things off, a fight broke out between two women as we were leaving which tells you what you need to know about the typical guest of this place. If this sounds like your type of place, go for it I guess.

We were in London to see the Christmas lights. I booked the restaurant as we had a brilliant meal there last time we were in London over a year ago.

To say we were disappointed was an understatement. We had to asked to be moved from our first table as we were sat in a draft. The second table wasn’t much better and I needed to wear a coat throughout the meal. I wasn’t the only one.

The service was awful. The server was pleasant enough but, we asked for cutlery and ended up getting up to get it ourselves. I asked for a glass, and again we waited so long, in the end we got one ourselves. We were ignored by virtually everyone.

None of our wine choices were available.

My husband was unsure of his main so we ordered two starters for him and said we’d let the server know if he wanted a main. We ordered a main for me. I waited and waited or my main, but it never came. The server apparently was waiting for my husband to order a main, but if this was the case he never approached us to ask what he wanted. When we finally managed to get him to the table he apologised and put the order in. The signs were ignored so became useless.

Apart from my main, the food was luke warm at best. On a positive note -the only one-when it finally came my main was delicious.

As a side note, all though the server had his mask on only covering his mouth.

I appreciate that you have only just opened after lockdown, but you are never going to regain customers if this is the best you can do.

Very good food. Strange ambiance though. I’ve been in a Bubba Gump in Orlando and it was a real experience - the staff were more enthusiastic, upbeat and bought into to theme. However the Piccadilly one was subdued and it didn’t feel like a Bubba Gump restaurant, just a normal restaurant with a bit of memorabilia and a little gift shop.

due to covid, staff, food and cleanliness of the restaurant was outstanding and staff help myself and husband with the app for the menu while keeping their distance as per government guidelines. We will visit again when able.

Really noisy and quite a few groups of diners that were obviously mixed households from the overheard loud conversations. Really expensive even for London. I have visited Bubba Gumps in Florida and was expected a similar experience but it didn’t hit the mark. Bland poorly presented food. A real shame.

Temperature was taken before we entered by a very courteous consiege. Food was great and staff were friendly.

The food was okay however for the cost, you could go to somewhere far better for nicer food at less of a cost. I won't be returning. This being said, the service couldn't be faulted.

On entrance the COVID measures were strict which we thought were good. Then we made our way upstairs and the reception we got from the waitress was poor and we didn’t feel welcomed. The menu was not very well organised and made choosing what we wanted difficult. We chose surf n turf only to be told they had ran out of steak, we didn’t choose an alternative. We left the restaurant but nobody had bothered to say thankyou or speak to us which left a bad taste.

The scanable menu was difficult and only when struggling to make it work were we offered paper menus. (even our 16 year old had problems!)
The food was ok, pretty standard but very overpriced. We each had a main course (3 of us) and one drink each.(2 cokes and one alcohol) Our bill was £85. A 12% service charge was added taking our bill to £95.
Bubba Gumps had been on our list of places to go for a while, having missed the opportunity to do it on 2 visits to the United States, and we were very much look forward to it. It was our first trip to London and meal out since lockdown. Sadly it didn't live up to expectations and we left disappointed. Would not rush back.

Absolutely amazing this place always excites me. The food is delicious and the staffvare brilliant nothing was roo big of an issue to deal with and the homemade Key lime pie is scrumptious.

I would recommend the New Orleans shrimp that was delicious! Staff were very friendly and service was quick.
