The food was so poor had the shrimp Mac n cheese which was barely warm and had no taste to it !! Then had a chicken burger for main again it wasn’t even warm and the chips I had again didn’t even look like they had been cooked the food just seemed as if it had been rushed and no time and care put into it
The ambience was nice, the tables were clean, service was poor due to the fact that,I think none of the servers had been there more than a week. Drinks were forgotten, waited 45 minutes for a kids sundae after chasing many times we told them to forget it.
The food was nice when it eventually came but had an upset boy when his pudding never turned up.
Overall this has the makings of a good experience but the staff really let it down hence why we refused to pay the service charge.

Amazing food and service aiming to visit every restaurant in chain
A nice meal was spoiled by appallingly slow drinks service. The food came promptly and was very good. Eventually received our drinks 35 minutes after ordering and by which time we had mostly finished our main course. The waiting staff apologised a couple of times for the delay, which was not their fault, but annoyingly the drinks were finally delivered by what I assume was an under manager without any explanation. My wife stated that we did not expect to see the drinks on our bill which was met with a shrug. The person I assumed to be the manager spent the whole time sitting at the bar staring at a laptop while empty glasses piled up. I have been to a number of these restaurants in the States and the difference in attitudes and service is striking. I think the main problem with this place is poor management who don’t seem to care about good customer service.
Poor service, very slow especially when there were a number of staff and not a lot of customers. Food was lovely.
It was a poor day service wise on Saturday...drinks taking way too long, food orders not coming out together...good job we had time to waste
Whilst it was a little quiet (sign of the times) the food lived up to its usual expectations - tasty, well-cooked and plentiful. Prompt and polite service. Only gripe remains that £3 (well £2.95!) for a soft drink is excessive. But we go for the food which is great.
Great service With friendly staff very helpful with good quality food
Booked a table back in September 13th for 3 people to eat at 6.15 , we arrived on time and asked the the girl on reception a few times when it got past booking time , she said a few problems but did not know how long to wait . by 6.50 we decided to leave as had cinema tickets booked for James Bond and didn't want to be late . Before we left we asked to speak with the manager as to why we had not been seated at our booking time , the duty manager that was on was named Camila but she did not bother to come to talk with us to explain why the long delay bearing in mind they only keep your table for 15 minutes if you are late. We been twice in the USA once in Miami and once in Santa Monica both light years ahead of the one here in London. Thanks for messing up a planned evening for us as we had to rush the food in a different venue . Don't take bookings and mess up peoples plans and if you do at least have the courtesy to come and apologies and explain why rather than just telling the poor girl on reception that you can't say how long to wait. We were not the only ones waiting there were several parties in same position. DREADFUL customer service and definitely wont try you ever again.
1/2 hour to get drinks and service really slow. Had to go to find a member os staff twice to find out what was happening
What can I say we had such poor service we ordered then 40 mins later chased out drinks took them another 10 mins to say waitress hadn’t put through our order so we reordered they brought the food but only 1 main course not 2 it was a shambles Manager was apologetic and reflected this in the bill.
The waitress was terrible and rude who lacks overall listening and people skills, she forgot one of our drinks, asked us on 3 separate occasions if we wanted our starters and mains together - which we did, but the starter arrived early followed by our mains 45 minutes later (after we asked the main hostess for a eta as we had theatre tickets), our grilled chicken sandwiches were so greasy you could squeeze the grease out of them and our Cajun fries were under cooked with very little Cajun seasoning. The cutlery supplied was dirty and the knife so bent out of shape it was unusable. When the bill arrived we were charged for the forgotten drink. Overall a terrible meal, it was our wedding anniversary and we had been looking forward to returning to bubba gumps after originally visiting 6 years ago on our staycation honeymoon and having a brilliant time. We left disappointed and hungry. We can’t fault the building itself or the decoration as it’s brilliant, and the overall terrible experience did make us laugh rather than cry! Would I recommend bubba gumps, probably not.
Good ended up making one of our guests sick. We waited over 1hour and 20mins for 5 drinks and ended up finishing our food before they ever arrived. Had to deal with multiple different servers coming back to say they were out of a specific beer and each time to tell them we had already changed it to something else they had.
The food was very overpriced for what it was and next time we would definitely go to another restaurant after such poor quality service and overpricing.
Additionally they still tried to charge for the drinks we didn’t receive, even after I spoke with the last waiter who was bringing the bill… would not visit again. This place and their food quality has gone very downhill, a lot of the seafood and crab smelt quite fishy (which indicates it is not fresh) and I hadn’t had this issue in previous visits.
Will not return after this.
One of my wife's favorites, she was not aware that I had booked, we had a little delay on our booked time of 19:30. Service was very good, no delays and food was great and no delays, after reading some reviews I was very pleased with the service levels and quality of the food.

Loved the restaurant design, massively let down by the poor service. Ordered and then waited 30mins, waiter came and asked us how everything was and nothing had arrived. Waiter came back to tell us there was no beer, another waiter came over to tell us there was no beer, then my beer arrived. Food arrived a few mins later and was ok. Let down by the slow/poor service. Wouldn’t recommend or go back.

Food and experience overall really good. Food was pricey but expected in central London at a tourist restaurant. Service was extremely slow- don’t go if in a rush or going to the theatre etc
Lack of experienced staff made both our food & drink order come out wrong. The wine we ordered didn’t exist(?) the apple juice for a 3 yr old & chosen from the kids menu came out in a 1/2 pt pitcher….
Two plates came out (not convinced the steak that arrived was a ribeye!) & were ok, but lacking chips the third plate didn’t arrive… we asked & were told ‘just coming’. We asked again & were then quizzed on what had we ordered. The first two plates were finished by the time the third plate arrived & we were then told ‘I guess you don’t want the chips now’ ones that were due with the steak.
I felt terribly sorry for the manageress she was trying to deal with issues via her headphones & from customers.
She was very apologetic & dealt with our bill appropriately.
Really short staffed so unfortunately the customer service was extremely poor.

Food was mediocre. Mash was a bit hard and lukewarm.

We have been to Bubbagump on numerous times but this is time it was very poor. I ordered a Long Island ice Tea and received a normal Iced Tea (which isn't even on the drinks menu). I pointed out the drink was not what I ordered and got the LI Iced tea. We ordered the drinks and food at the same time. and after 25-30 mins had not received the food. I noticed someone who arrived after us were eating their order. We asked the waiter what had happened to our order. He went and checked and brought our food back with him. The food must have been standing while as the chilli dip had skinned over and the food became cold very quickly. Whilst the food was still warm it tasted lovely. On asking for the bill I found that they tried to charge me for the Iced tea. I quickly pointed this out and it was rectified. Unfortunately what was a pleasant dining experience I am somewhat disappointed. It wasn't as if the restaurant was busy. I think this Bubbagump needs a good shake up or this franchise will not last much longer. What is needed is the American enthusiasm that we experienced in Miami and San Francisco.

Great selection, very good good offer, hot, fresh and lovely sized portions, definitely worth a return visit, just need to look at staff (like the rest of the hospitality business by offering decent wages)
Even though there was only a few occupied tables the service was terrible, had to ask for menus, ordered a bottle of water which in the end I went and got from the bar where it was just sat waiting to be brought to the table. We finished and sat with our empty plates for about 15 minutes, in the end I asked someone to come and clear them but they took what they could and didn’t come back for the rest !! I work in the service industry so I hate leaving a bad review but it really wasn’t good.
Staff were helpful and polite but there was not atmosphere and the food was terrible. The mains took so long to come out that they were cold by the time we got them.
The Staff tried so hard to make what is an overpriced and poor food experience the best they could. Very underwhelming and very expensive.

The decor and ambiance was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food however was a bit disappointing, although it looked really good and exactly the same as it did online the taste was seriously lacking and the food was actually quite bland. The chips were very dry and did not taste fresh at all which considering that the largest food portion in a lot of the dishes is the chips. 9n the whole I think the food and drinks are seriously overpriced, but considering the area I guess it's to be expected but I won't be returning here sadly as it's just not good value for money.
You need to change the system where waiting staff ‘remember’ and don’t write down your order. 2 different staff forgot to bring drinks over (we never got them) and another forgot that we didn’t want nuts on our sharing dessert. Then a service charge was added to the bill with no option of taking that off when paying by card.

Service was poor we had to find someone to ask when we needed something, plates were not cleared away, food tasted very greasy, no one asked if everything was ok with the meals.

Food was good overall. Starters and mains were as described and BIG portions. Unfortunately he cookie dessert was a bit disappointing. We expected it to be soft and gooey but it was literally solid and you had to chisel it out of the pan with a spoon.
Service by the lady in a white blouse/shirt was great but most other staff did not know answers to questions and seemed in a hurry all the time (although the place was half empty).
Our experience of Bubba Gump in the states was much better in regard to service.
We would visit again because we LOVE the theming of the restaurant but the service needs improvement for the price point.
Love the decor in here! Waitress didn’t put our food order through so was waiting for over 40 minutes until it was sorted. Apart from that it was nice.
