Booked table for 18:00, waited for 40min in an area where the door staff had indicated. Completely ignored by the other staff. Eventually, they let another couple who had arrived 15min after us take a table…
We left without dining.
Service very slow. Took ages to get drinks. Then appetiser and mains arrived together! At the next table people were given their mains before their appetisers and sent them back. Waiting staff didn’t seem to understand the menu. We refused to pay a 12.5% service charge that had been automatically added to the bill!
Visited on 23/11/21. The food overall good- the main meal was lovely but the pudding (chocolate chip sundae) tasted stale and was like trying to chip into concrete. The absolute worst part of the experience was the waitress Aaliyah. I have never had such a rude and disrespectful waitress at any restaurant I’ve visited. She acted like it was a personal insult to her that we were there and wanted to order food. Having worked on retail myself, I could’ve understood some of her briskness if the restaurant had been packed but it was a very quiet Tuesday evening and it seemed like for most of our time there we were her only customers. But nothing could really justify her rudeness and attitude. I absolutely loathe being forced to pay the £7.54 tip with no option to not pay it. She absolutely ruined the experience and I wish we had eaten somewhere else.

Ordered a steak asked how I wanted it cooked said well done and it was bloody . Waitress never even wrote down what we asked for . Staff never Spoke certainly didn't deserve the ser charge of £8 . It's not a cheap meal out so expected more complete rubbish
We had a wonderful meal, the food was delicious and we were served by Raiu. He took care of us really well, making sure we had everything we needed. He was smiling the whole time. You could tell he loved his job!

Absolutely awful.wouldnt go back. Cold food, service terrible, asked for a spoon 3 times never got one! Asked for more drinks..they never came,asked for bill. Paid WITHOUT paying the service harge!! And left as quick as we could
Service was slow, food was poor quality and only warm when it arrived. The restaurant is tired, with worn flooring and torn seating. All in all poor value for money.
The food here is amazing, however our service wasn't great. 2 of our 3 mains came out then after nearly 15 minutes we had to ask 2 people before the last one was found in the kitchen. My husband asked for a bud on tap and he watched them empty the barrel then top the rest from a bottle, annoyingly our daughter then knocked over that drink (totally our fault) but even though it made quite the noise a full pint and smashed glass over the floor nobody came to help. Again I had to ask 3 people before they found a dustpan & brush.
It was a real shame as the food is great

We’ve been here loads before so we’re shocked that the service was so poor this time. We were kept waiting downstairs whilst people walking in without reservations were seated straight away, the starter was cold, they lost the order for our mains, they didn’t bring us any sauces when we asked for them, bins were overflowing in the toilet and I couldn’t see any hand sanitiser anywhere. Won’t be going back!
Avoid. Food was absolutely shocking. I decided to get the ribs and they were the driest ribs I have ever had. I could not even eat any of them. At over £21 for ribs I was shocked. I explained to the waiter that they were not edible who rudely just shrugged his shoulders. There was no apologies whatsoever and had to pay the full £21 for food I did not eat (chips were lovely though). Also there were around 5 tables around us that had not be cleared the whole time we were there, approx 2 house (very slow service).
Also the table we were seated on has left over Dr Pepper cans the whole time from a previous party. Do not recommend!!
From sitting down at table it was 25 minutes till someone came for drinks order and I had to get them . Apart from getting the order saw no one and had to go find someone for the bill which again took ages
After months of not going out we were so looking forward to returning to one of our favourite places. We have been here many times and to others around the world which have been wonderful. Upon arrival the shop looked as if it was closing down and it was very cold inside as the door was left open. We waited a while and was sent upstairs, the place was not buzzing as usual and lacked atmosphere with very bright lighting. We were shown to our table and waited 30 minutes until we received our drinks. My partner wanted to leave at this stage. There were lots of tables that had not been cleared and cleaned with food on the floor. This was the case the whole time we were there. Our food was very disappointing also, not like we had in the past. There was no one around to check we were ok and we couldn’t wait to leave. We paid and left, what a real disappointment all round. If this had been our first time at Bubba we definitely would not be returning ever. We know how amazing it usually is.
Starter was received and was returned as the prawns were warm and tasted horrible.
Drinks turned up 30 minutes after a starter.
Cocktails where returned as tastless and bland.
Ribs and steak where returned as overcooked.
Service waiter advised that it had a hard day and it wasn't his fault.
Settled the bill by offer of minimum payment as even after returning all 4 meals the bill was only discounted by 50%. Never eat there again and will tell every one I know to avoid.
A little bit disappointed, we have been to Bubba Gump in New York and had a lovely experience but this time the food was very poor. Two of us got our meal 15 minutes after the others got their food. Very expensive for the quality, however the waiting stuff and manager were lovely and the kids really enjoyed that there was a ping pong table they could play on. Sadly would never re visit.

2 people had shrimp which was ok, I had the southern fried chicken which was soggy and chewy. Despite lot of staff being in bubba hump attire the two people who served us were just in black and it wasn’t even clear they worked there until they asked what we wanted
The food and service were great; spotting a mouse just feet from our table really spoilt our experience. You have to wonder how hygienic the restaurant really is. The staff listened and offered us a reasonable bill reduction. Probably won’t ever visit again. A real shame. .
We were really disappointed with our experience.
We had to wait in the gift shop for our booking which wasn’t ideal with 2 young children.
The staff seemed didn’t seem to know who they were serving and were giving food to the wrong people.

Food was very good, this was our 2nd visit, we had steak and ribs.
We was booked for 3pm, arrived 15 minutes early and had to wait downstairs until 5 past 3. We then was allowed upstairs and had to wait another 15 minutes to be seated.
The seating cushion was damaged and was taped with grey electrical tape.
Service was pretty fast and the staff approaching our table when needed was good.
Staff seemed tired and not really engaged so didn't feel entirely welcome.
Overall, this wouldn't stop me coming back for a 3rd visit or recommending to a friend.
This just felt a huge drop compared to our first visit which was 10/10 back in 2019.
Also, I have IBD and need to be careful what I eat. I don't remember it being easy to see what the food contained. Apologies as this is my problem and hate being "that" person.

Ordered a grill chicken Cesar and after 2 hours I still didn’t get it
Once we were sat we were left for a long time before having our order taken. When our order was then taken it was typed into the notes section on what seemed like our waitresses phone? I’m not sure.
We ordered starters and then mains. When our food arrived the main arrived first and then 5 minutes later our starters were quite literally thrown onto the table by another waitress that didn’t even look up at us/in our direction. She literally just chucked the food onto our table as she walked past. I have the Cajun prawns for starters which looked nothing like the image and I feel like the flavourings were missed out because they were bland and sat in what seemed like a load of oil. My husbands fish in his main was cold and again bland.
We both left a significant amount of food and when we eventually saw the waitress again she didn’t ask us how our food was or if there were any problems.
We wanted to get out so didn’t even look at the bill we just paid. When we left we saw we had been charged a service charge. If I knew this was on there I certainly would not have paid it. The service and food were both poor.
This is very disheartening as it was my 30th birthday meal out on a weekend away with my husband and I’ve heard good things about your restaurant so I’m really disappointed with the whole experience.

We had visited this restaurant in New York - so wanted to try the London branch. Sadly we never got to eat or drink here and went to eat somewhere else in the end after not receiving much in the way of service - we didn't receive a glass of water, the cocktails we ordered never arrived and and we were not actually given the chance to order food as our drinks order was taken by a waitress we never saw again.
When we approached the bar staff to courteously let them know we were leaving due to the lack of service, we were asked to "wait a minute and I'll do it now" (after we had waited 45 mins).
The icing on the cake was when 3 other booths surrounding us, who all arrived after us, started to receive their drinks and food, whilst we had turned our sign to "red" (indicating we needed help) and were ignored by about approximately 10 members of staff who walked past us repeatedly during our time there.
We’ve dined in bubba gumps all across America and been to the London one several times.
After Friday night’s experience we have been put of going again. Constant wrong drinks being brought to us, when the food eventually come it was freezing cold. The bill was wrong. We’ve never had such bad service. Very disappointing
On arrival, I asked for gluten allergy information, the gentleman did not understand me and just sat us at a table with a menu. Trying to make eye contact with the staff was impossible, I was eventually given an allergy book. The book did not relate to what was on the menu at all. After a long wait the waitress came to take our order, I explained the book wasn’t relevant and she said she had no idea. I then asked to speak with the manager as this was not acceptable, the manager had no idea either. I ended up with a tuna salad, barely cooked as I wasn’t asked how I liked my tuna, by this time I’d had enough. Drinks took forever and we were never offered a dessert menu. This was meant to be a celebration for my daughters birthday. This establishment could be fatal for a celiac, accident waiting to happen.

Didn't know which drink they had brought out then just took it away again and didn't return for another 20mims.
None of the staff spoke English even enough to know which items we wanted from the menu without pointing to every item.
We finally got our drinks after waiting over an hour and many incorrect attempts. Then whilst trying to make the decision whether to stay for the meal we had planned a mouse ran back and forward passed our table so we left.
So so disappointed having been to the same restaurant 4 years before and having had such a nice time that this visit was booked, by me, for my mum's 60th Birthday. Embarrassing to say the least. Also one of the side plates we were handed was completely covered in grease.

I really hope there is a complete change of management and that they can save it because it was so great the first time I went.
Having travelled the States have frequented a number of Bubba Gump's in various locations. as a chain their food, ambience is excellent. Unfortunately this could not be said for the London restaurant. The positives, it was quiet, spacious and the waitresses were very nice and helpful. That said there were only a couple so they were rushed off their feet (and the restaurant was relatively quiet, it was a Thursday night) had it been busy not sure if they would have coped. On the downside, they didn't have any of the ice (soft) drinks on the menu, there was more items missing from the food menu than on, and the four meals we had two were cold and the other two tasted like they had been under a hot lamp for some time (the chicken and burgers were dry). Overall very disappointed and we all agreed we would not be returning.
There was no atmosphere at all, like none!! The cutlery was dirty. Menus looked like they had since better days, all worn and ripped on the corners. We did enjoy the food.
Food is bland. We had to load up on sauces to get anything with flavour.
Waiting staff had to be told the same the repeatedly before it seemed to register. We ordered three items and had to repeat the order, no exaggeration, eight times before they could comprehend it.
They were also so confused when I arrived and said I had a booking. It was like no one had ever asked them for a table before, they couldn’t get their head around the idea that I wanted to sit at a table and eat.
Over priced. No atmosphere. Creepy decor.
