Our server, Ginet(SP ?) was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and attentive. She made our visit delightful. I have dietary restrictions and she made it happen and all with a friendly smile and attentive attitude. Loved the food, ambiance, service and food. One thing I would suggest, years ago you had wonderful sour dough bread. Please try to get better bread. I am used to NYC Italian bread.
We appreciate you sharing such wonderful feedback about Ginet! We look forward to serving you again soon!
Made a reservation for my birthday and requested the table in the kitchen. It was ready for us and had a birthday hat and decorations. Thanks for a memorable birthday!
Thanks for the rave review and for choosing Buca di Beppo to celebrate such a special occasion! We appreciate you sharing your experience with us and hope you visit us again soon!
It was outstanding as usual I brought to newbies to the restaurant tonight & they were full & totally pleased! Well Done!
We are very happy to hear you enjoyed your visit and we hope to see you at your nearest Buca di Beppo soon!
Dinner is usually outstanding. Lunch on the other hand is very disappointing.

Wonderful setting to share really good food with family!!
Alice, we are so glad your family enjoyed their visit! We appreciate you sharing such complimentary feedback. Join us again soon!
Kitschy & a al “Old-School.” Large, value-priced, portions.
Nothing high end except a good, tasty and pleasant venue.
This restaurant is best for groups, as their dinner and dessert menu is portioned for sharing. Solo diners are only able to order off the lunch menu, which has a limited selection of entrees. The food is only okay. I had chicken limone, which is a chicken breast served in a lemony sauce and capers and served with a side of either fettuccine or marinara pasta. The plate was exactly as described, but I suspect the sauce is premade. It’s not bad but it’s not great.
Thank you for reaching out to address your thoughts and concerns. There is always room for improvement!
Too much food but good. Enjoyed the dinner. Will go back but with s group this time.
We are happy to hear how much you enjoyed your meal with us! We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
Very reasonable place to dine in such a prestigious area of DC. Great service and food. Will definitely go back.

The service is great and the food delicious.

We were there to celebrate a birthday. We waited 19 minutes and they still never brought us anything to drink. We finally got up and left because it was so loud in there, no one was working and we couldn’t even find somebody to ask them to bring us water. It was pretty much vacant. Waste of a night!

Good place for a big group
Pizza was good. Be aware dishes come in portions for 3 or 5 people.
Great restaurant for a fun, relaxed meal with friends and family. The family-style portions are generously sized and taste fantastic. A winner in my book.
I arrived a few minutes early but had to wait 15 minutes or so for a table. Once I got past the management and got a table, things went fine. But then the management reported to OpenTable that I was a no show.
This is incredibly fun place for a birthday celebration!
Service was great as always. Our server must've thought it was taking long for some reason, and the manager came out to extend apologies, and offer free dessert. The only odd thing was that we never complained or said anything at all. I thought that was super nice and thoughtful, and a great way to take care of your customers. ONLY COMPLAINT WAS NOT ONE GLUTEN FREE PASTA OPTION.
Very disappointed on this visit. We have been many time and this time our waitress didn't want to be three and we received our food wrong 3 times. We are far from picky guests -- its the simple things i.e. plates, silverware, drinks - ensure they are clean not broken. Not sure we will come back anytime soon.
Always a fun time at Buca. Good good. It was quite loud as there were 3 buses of junior high students there.
Good food, family style. We went for Mothersday eve as we have gone on mothersday before and been underwhelmed. It is easy to be underwhelmed on mothersday though. The experience was as good as else expected. The highlight is actually the salad. It is amazing the rest of the meal, two chicken dishes and a pasta dish with a few apps left plenty of leftovers for a Sunday lunch.
Service was very poor—start to finish. The restaurant was extremely busy and our server didn’t visit the table often. She neglected to order one of our entrees. And when reminded, she put it in late and said she would comp it. She didn’t. Definitely won’t go back.
Took my little kids after a full day of DC site seeing. It’s an easy, fun place for kids but the food is just “okay”. But the vibe, service and convenience made up for the food.
Had a two for one coupon so pal and I enjoyed a quiet late afternoon lunch. Yummy Nine layer lasagne (which I often order at nearly every Italian restaurant as I know how long it takes to make) for me and chicken pasta with peas for my pal. The chocolate cake was scrumptious.
The food is way over priced and not even close to authentic Italian food. The restaurant is dingy and very old fashioned.
We ordered the small sized dishes for our group of four and I had enough leftovers for two more meals! The service was surprisingly fast, given the number of large school groups that were also there. That was pretty impressive!
Our server Nicholas was great! We had an interesting meal while seated in the kitchen. What a show! I would recommend being seated in this area if you are interested in how a restaurant kitchen works.
Great experience, but I didn’t like the fact that they made us wait 45 minutes to be seated after our reservation time.
We had dinner for almost 20 people and Buca worked out great! Perfect for a large group!
My "go to" restaurant for eggplant parmesan.
The lunch portions and prices for the lunch menu are great! I had the pasta/salad featuring a garden salad and spaghetti marinara. The pasta was piping hot when it came to my table. Nice and fresh. The waiter Sas was very nice.
It’s one of those places where you know exactly what you are getting. If you want large quantities of passable Italian American food in a friendly atmosphere and service, go for it. Otherwise, better avoid.
Short staffed, so long time to place order and get served,
My family and I will be returning for Meatball Mondays.
After 3 times visiting there, I'll give it a solid 3 stars. Food is ok, about half the dishes I would order again. Some of the dishes were overcooked.
The service is generally good and friendly, although tonight was quite slow (restaurant was only 3/4 full), and we had to ask for some items (like water) multiple times.
Not great, but the food was fine and the waitress was very nice.
The waitress, Frewowit was very nice, attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. I do not like the new menu and the prices have been increased almost by 30% more at Buca. In all of my visits to Buca di Beppo this is the first and last time that my family will order The pizza, Supremo Italiano was a very thin crust and all of the sausage and green peppers kept falling off of the very thin crust. No where on the menu did it say that the crust was thin crust. I feel to pay $24 for this pizza was a let down. The one good thing is that it was made fresh and come hot to the table. The brownies in the brownie sundae were hard as rocks, literally we did not enjoy it at all. I was so very disappointed with this visit as my family tried to celebrate my husband's birthday.
The lasagna is getting better. This time there was more cheese over the top of it, more than ever before. The server, Diana was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food portions are large for the money.
Food and service was good, but not as good as in the past. One major complaint, website said there was Valet Parking for $7.00. There was no Valet Parking! And local parking garage around the corner cost $21.00. Asked to see the manager, and he never showed up.
